Generation of Binary COOx/SiO2 Nanoparticles from Organocompound Precursors
Moravec, Pavel ; Smolík, Jiří ; Bakardjieva, Snejana ; Levdansky, V.V.
In recent years cobalt and cobalt oxide nanoparticles have attracted substantial research effort because of their potential applications such as protective materials, catalysts, magnetic data recorders, batteries and gas sensors (Jang et al., 2004). To improve their functionality and biocompatibility nanoparticles are frequently coated with SiO2 (Teleki et al., 2008). In this work, we studied CoOx-SiO2 binary nanoparticles synthesis by metal organics chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) using organo-compound precursors cobalt acetylacetonate (CoAA) and tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS).

Characterization and Properties of Titanium-Vanadium Oxide Thin Films Prepared by ArF Laser Ablation
Fajgar, Radek ; Kupčík, Jaroslav ; Šubrt, Jan ; Novotný, F.
Thin films od vanadium-titanium complex oxides were prepared by ArF excimer laser ablation of Tio2 and VO2 targets. The light grey films with thickness of 155 nm were grown on glass and Au substrates and characterized by microscopy, spectroscopy and diffraction techniques. The as-prepared films were nanocrystalline and heating at 450°C in vacuum led to formation of mixture of crystalline V0.95Ti0.05O and TiO nanoparticles. The film shown reversible thermochronic behaviour between 3.0 and 1.4 micrometers. The films, annealed in air oxidize and the colour of the film changes to light yellow. Electrical and optical properties of the films are demonstrated.

Study of gel electrolytes properties by MR methods
Kořínek, R. ; Vondrák, Jiří ; Bartušek, Karel ; Mrnka, M.
In this paper are introduced basic methods for measuring the properties of the gel structure during polymerization, particularly relaxation times T1, T2 spin density and diffusion coefficients. We can obtain these parameters using the MR pulse sequences. To measure of relaxation time T1 are used SR techniques (Saturation Recovery) and IR techniques (Inversion Recovery) usually. To measure of relaxation time T2 can be used SE (Spin Echo) technique. To measure diffusion coefficinets are used PFG-SE and PFG-SSE methods (Pulsed Field Gradient Spin Echo a Pulsed Field Gradient Stimulated Echo) and of course their modification. Experiment itself is described sample preparation of gel electrolytes and to measure their relaxation times.
