TVAROHOVÁ, Zdeňka
Abstract More and more young people, also children, are using tobacco products. It is serious patological phenomenon which can effect not only person using the tobacco products, but also the whole society. Using tobacco products causes serious health hazard and diseases, which are usually irreversible. Smoking tobacco is very spread in Czech republic as much as drinking alcohol. Both these phenomenons are tolerated by the society. Society has a big influence on everyone of us and it is very important to prepare healthy environment for curious and inexperienced children. The target of my work is to map the age and motivation factors of the first use of tobacco products, frequency and range of using and attitude towards the smoking. I also target on prevention in schools. Based on the studied materials I stated hypothesis concerning the age of using, realised prevention in schools and ratio between male and female smokers. I used technique of anonymous inquiries. Inquiry was checked by pre-research on which I examined functionality and fullness of the inquiry. Hypothesis {\clqq}I assume that more than half of under age (younger than 15 years) used tobacco products`` was confirmed by the answers in my inquiry. Hypothesis ``I assume that male smokers are more often{\crqq} wasn{\crq}t confirmed. There is 3% more smoking females than males. Hypothesis {\clqq}I assume that realised prevention in school was after the first experience with tobacco and is there for useless`` was also confirmed. It can be presumed of the fact that 17% of the informants didn{\crq}t answer the question, 3% answered ``I don{\crq}t know{\crqq} and 8% answered that they never received any warnings of health riscs in the school. Informants were chosen from two primary schools. Inquiried were total of 203 informants from 6th to 9th grades from ZŠ Kubatova in České Budějovice (91 pupils) and ZŠ Trhové Sviny (112 pupils). Age of the first experience with tobacco products is getting lower, because this inquiry confirmed that average age of the first experience was at 10,9 year of children{\crq}s age. That is why I maintain how important is to prepare complex view of nikotinism problem on primary schools.

The movement activity of adolescent children
DINDA, Ondřej
The topic of my bachelor?s work describes problems of physical activity of children, during the period of adolescence and its influence on the health condition and the ontogenetic development of the motion apparatus. Since there are more children and adolescents, who spend a significant time of a day under a static load, to the detriment of motion activities, this topic is very actual and important. The theoretical part of my work deals with postural ontogenesis, with the significance of motion activities in individual development stages of children and adolescents, with an overview of present most popular motion activities. Further I focused on posture defects, on the impact of the school load on the child?s organism, the risks of working with computers and last but not least I described methods of prevention and treatment of consequences the above factors might cause. The objective of the practical part was to find out the frequency of motion apparatus problems, wrong habits in movements and their impact on the postural system in selected classes of secondary and primary schools. To collect the data I chose a quantitative research with a questionnaire, which contained 21 questions. Mainly the frequency of motion apparatus problems, the motion activity and further activities that affect the condition of the motion apparatus and the knowledge of the basic preventive measures were examined. There were 108 pupils in the 8th and 9th form of the school in Oparany, pupils in the 9th form of the school in Jistebnice and pupils in the first and second form of the Grammar School Pierre de Coubertin in Tabor that participated in the research. The age of the respondents was between 14 and 17 years. The results were assessed by means of the frequency analysis and have been presented in graphs. Each respondent received together with the questionnaire an educational booklet, which was prepared in an easily understandable form to give information of the impact of environment on the health of the motion apparatus, the prevention and the basic therapy of the already existing problems. The results of the research show that 70.3 percent of respondents has already had or has suffered from pains of the motion apparatus. 26.8 percent of respondents meet the requirements for the recommended weekly volume of motion activity for children and adolescents; they are mainly boys. The importance of preventive measures, e.g. the way of sitting realize most of the respondents, however the level of their knowledge of individual factors, which affect the health of the motion apparatus differed significantly. This bachelor?s work can be used in clinical practice of physiotherapist or by teachers, teaching not only physical education.

ŠMATLÁKOVÁ, Iva
The topic of this thesis is evaluation of primary prevention activities in elementary schools in the Příbram region. The issue of risk behavior is still an up-to-date topic discussed throughout society and the only truly effective solution to this undesirable phenomenon is its prevention. The aim of primary prevention is to discourage pupils from their involvement in risk behavior or to put the risk behavior off until later age. Those that exercise primary prevention activities are the family and school. Now schools and educational facilities are required to develop the so-called minimal preventive program according to the Methodological instructions of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The chapter ``The current status{\crqq} is based on professional literature. The terms of risk behavior, school primary prevention, adolescence and also individual forms of risk behavior are described. In the practical part the objectives are defined, the research process is described and discussions with authors I drew inspiration from are mentioned. The main objective of this thesis was to survey the spheres of primary prevention activities in elementary schools. At the same time, according to timeliness and the presence of a selected type of risk behaviour, it is possible to assess the effectiveness of primary prevention. Another objective was to monitor the incidence of risk behavior in pupils of ninth grade of elementary schools. To obtain the research data a quantitative method using anonymous questionnaires for elementary school pupils was applied. In the thesis qualitative research was also used, the data collection technique was the content analysis of basic prevention programs.
The midwife's role in the sex education of the basic school pupils
KADLECOVÁ, Zdeňka
The midwie?ves role in the sex education of the elementary school pupils Sex education should be, in the first place, a matter of parenting or family education, yet it should be a natural part of school education. At present, sex education is part of the elementary school curriculum and its classes are based on verbal/visual concept, which includes all drawbacks of our system of education. Despite being trained and schooled at universities, future teachers have no possibility to become familiar with the issues relating to sex education due to their study programmes. One of the crucial problems that prevents smooth implementation of sex education at elementary schools is teachers? incompetence in this specific area. The author sees a possible solution in collaboration between teachers and medical staff (midwives, doctors) when providing sex education of pupils. The objective of the thesis at hand was to observe sex education awareness among elementary school pupils, their interest in sex education as a part of elementary school curriculum, and to identify whether there is an interest of the school management in hiring a midwife to tutor the sex education classes. To meet the objective, a quantitative research combined with a qualitative one was selected. The research was carried out at elementary schools in České Budějovice and the research corpus, which was created for the purposes of the quantitative research, comprised of elementary school pupils. The qualitative research was based on a selection of teachers teaching at the schools. There were established two hypotheses and one research question. Hypothesis 1 implied that pupils lack awareness of modes of transmission of sexually transmitted diseases. This hypothesis has not been confirmed. Most of the pupils were aware of ways of sexual diseases transmission. Hypothesis 2 implied that pupils are interested in sex education as a part of elementary school curriculum. This hypothesis has been confirmed. The pupils responded that they would welcome more time spent on sex education; they want to retrieve the information mainly from their teachers and parents. While doing the research, the author learned that there was an interest in hiring a midwife to tutor the sex education classes. Two schools already had midwives to teach the classes; two other schools were discussing the possibility of inviting a midwife; and one school showed no interest in the matter. This answered the research question whether schools perceive midwives to be competent persons to tutor sex education classes. The author would welcome if the outcomes of the thesis helped improve the quality of sex education at elementary schools and introduce experts, doctors and midwives to tutor such classes.

Evaluation of the Primary Prevention of Risk Behavior at Elementary schools
ŠMATLÁKOVÁ, Iva
The title of my thesis is {\clqq}Primary prevention evaluation of the risk behaviour in primary schools``. Risk behaviour is a general term and there are different notions of what it covers. According to specialists in this field it is possible to determine three spheres of the risk behaviour. The first sphere is the drug abuse, the second sphere is behaviour related to the reproductive health and the third is the risk behaviour in the psychosocial respect. These are current issues discussed in society. The phenomena of drug abuse, bullying or pathologic gambling addiction are the most frequent forms of sociopathology occurring in primary schools pupils. The current state description of this issue is drawn from specialist literature. The description deals with the term risk behaviour, kinds of social pathologic phenomena, the primary prevention both in-school and out-of-school and the target group {--} teenagers. The important risk behaviour development factor is prevention. The objective of my thesis is to learn how effective the measures imposed by family members, friends, media and mainly by the school environment are. The aim of the thesis is also to review the effectiveness of the risk behaviour primary prevention in primary schools. The partial aim is to survey attitudes of pupils and school consultants to primary prevention and to risk behaviour prevention. To collect data the quantitative method of anonymous questionnaires was used. The quantitative research in the form of a semi-standardized interview with school consultants was also used. The conclusions of the research show that children have considerable experience with drugs of abuse and school consultants do not consider preventive measures to be effective enough. The results of my thesis were made available to school headmasters and to prevention consultants and may be used as a resource in primary prevention.
