ThermaCAM PM595 in practical use
Švábeník, Petr ; Křivák, Petr (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
The thesis presents study of generation of thermal (infrared) radiation, its properties and ways of measuring. The possible used sensors of this thermal radiation are described. A thermacam is using these sensing units so there are written benefits of this measurement. Some suggestions for practical use and specific submissions to measure are written.
Optimalisation of thermal properties of solar cell modules
Dohnalová, Lenka ; Matiašovský, Peter (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
The topic of presented diploma thesis is study of thermal properties structures of photovoltaic cells. The main goal of this thesis is study of ways of heat spreading from volume and planar materials (conduction, convection and radiation). Then it is needed to determine contributions of heat spread from laminated photovoltaic cell and compare them to results measured by transient pulse method, step wise method and with thermo-camera using. At the beginning of this thesis it will be needed to define heat and ways it’s spread. Heat is closely connected with temperature. That is reason why will be there spoken about temperature and methods of its measuring. Than there will be defined basic thermo-physical parameters of materials. Thermo-physical parameters of materials will be measured by transient methods that will be characterized later and by thermo-camera. This thesis deals with photovoltaic cells, so there will be described their structure, properties, utilization and way of their production. Subsequently after the definition of all needed terms the experimental part of this thesis will be introduced. It will be needed to characterize measured volume material and define its thermo-physical parameters. Using the pulse transient method, step wise method and thermo-camera there will be measured the thermal response of PMMA sample, nonlaminated photovoltaic cell and also samples of laminated photovoltaic cells. Findings of all described methods will be finally compared.

Temperature measurement
Brzobohatý, Lukáš ; Kandus, Bohumil (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
ABSTRACT Brzobohatý Lukáš: Temperature measurement The work presents a comprehensive overview of measurements of one of the basic state function determining the state of matter - the temperature. It deals with development of temperature scales, units and measuring devices. Temperature measurement is divided into two basic ways - contact and non-contact method. Contact measuring devices emphasis on thermocouples because of their indispensability in all industries. Non-contact temperature measurement is most developing method. This corresponds to the devices development, which is determined by the rapid computer technology development.
Contactless temperature measuring
Kužel, Kristián ; Nykodým, Libor (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work summarizes the existing knowledge of contactless temperature measuring in industry applications, deals with individual types of measuring devices and contains the market overview. The work focuses especially on stationary devices applied industrially. In the conclusion, it describes a selection of existing contactless pyrometers including a pricing overview. It also analyzes issues related to the contactless measurement and possible ways to prevent them.
Study of thermal properties of materials for solar cells lamination
Dohnalová, Lenka ; Matiašovský, Peter (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
The topic of presented bachelor´s thesis was study of thermal properties of materials for solar cells lamination. The main goal of this thesis was measuring and characterisation of the basic thermal properties of volume materials and plastic films, which are used to solar cells lamination. At first a thermal response to a concrete thermal pulse was measured by the thermoelectric thermometer. Then there was studied the distribution of temperature on the surface of a sample during heating and cooling by the non-point heat source. At the beggining of this thesis it was needed to define heat and ways it´s spread, then the basic thermal properties and also methods of their determination. The ways of measuring temperature were described and then used in praxis. My thesis deals with study of thermal properties volume materials. It was needed to characterize measured volume material and define it´s thermal parameters, because the values of thermal parameters of measured samples of lamination films were compared to these values. This thesis is concerned in solar cells too. So there were also described their structure, properties, utilization and way of their production. After the definition of all needed therms the experimental part of this thesis was begun. At first the thermal response of each of the eight different samples was measured by the pulse transient method. Then there was studied the thermal field on the surface of the sample by thermocamera through using the pulse transient method. Findings of both methods were finally compared.
Posouzení možnosti identifikace hnilob kmene s užitím termokamery
Fiala, Michael
This study is focused to possibilities of using thermography in tree assessment in urban greenery. It was took 628 infrared images of 43 trees. On these trees was determine the extent of damage and decayed wood and cavities. It was also acquired 555 photos in visible spectrum for comparison. For the verification of heat transfer in a tree trunk and bark were made the measurements of temperature development in different depths of trunk with using a thermocouple thermometer. In one case was measured the sap flow. It is not possible recommended infrared cameras as a helpful tool for determining cavities and decayed wood in trees. Interpretation of results obtained from infrared imaginings is difficult and its doesn't show anything more than direct observation in the field. Moreover some of visible defect weren't detected by thermography. Application of infrared cameras can be helpful for evaluation of presence the other organisms dependent on a tree cavity.
Stanovení kvality technologických prostupů s využitím Blower Door testu
Kocfelda, Tomáš
This work deals with the determination of the quality of implementation measures airtightening main airtightening layer wooden building. Diagnostics of air tightness of the building envelope was conducted thermography measurement thermal imager Flir S65 in artificially induced pressure inside the space defined by the main airtightening layer. Further measuring was performed air tightness of the building envelope using Blower door test. The results of the test determine intensity of air exchange, which is compared with the requirement to assessment the energy performance of buildings. The paper also outlines the influence of the quality airtightening measures to the air exchange rate and the life of wooden buildings.
Comparison of non-contact temperature measurement during maturation of compost measurement using surface and recessed sensors
BLAHOUT, Jaroslav
The topic of the bachelor 's thesis is focuses on the comparison of the results obtained by contact measurement sensors and infrared (thermal imaging) camera. Their mutual comparison of the different stages of the composting process and determine the most appropriate method of obtaining information on the temperature of the fill. The information thus gathered should help to streamline their own process of composting. The object of this work isn 't the evaluation or monitoring of composting process.
