Study of MnOx properties using RRDE
Podal, Pavel ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
This master thesis deals with qualifications of the catalytic materials for positive electrode low-temperature fuel cells. The teoretical part focuses on the physical and chemical properties of low-temperature fuel cells. There are described methods of hydrodynamic RDE and RRDE. RRDE study utilizes methods linear and cyclic voltammetry for qualifying performance of catalytic materials and presentation of results. The practical part describes the preparation various types of carbon materials. There are monitored the oxygen reduction using RRDE. Catalytic materials are evaluated: CV, stability, kinetic parameters, creation of intermediate H2O2 and kinetics of electrode reactions.

Using lead-acid accumulators in hybrid electric vehicle regime
Hejdiš, Roman ; Novák, Vítězslav (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
The master´s thesis discuss characteristics of hybrid electric vehicles and lead-acid accumulators applied in car industry. It compares classic and alternative drive in cars, descibes classification of hybrid drives and its characteristics. Further work disscus lead-acid accumulators which focuses on VRLA accumulators applied in hybrid electric cars. Practical part contains a construction description of negative electrode and experiment, which studied influence of various amount addition of carbon on attributes of these electrodes.

Graphene-on-silicon Schottky junction solar cells
Zahradníček, Radim ; Drbohlavová,, Jana (referee) ; Mach, Jindřich (advisor)
This diploma thesis concerns itself with fabrication and characterization of Schottky solar cell on the graphene/silicon interface. Schottky solar cells were manufactured using a front collector electrode from gold, silver and carbon. On the graphene/silicon interface of the Schottky solar cell an interlayer of Al2O3 or SiO2. For the purpose of IV characterization of the manufactured Schottky solar cell a measuring apparatus was assembled.

Dopady emisního zdanění na státní rozpočet České republiky
Doubravová, Monika
Bachelor thesis deals with the carbon tax and its impact on the state budget. The theoretical beginning of the thesis is focused on the characteristics and distribu-tion of taxes. Next part consists of theoretical knowledge from the area of the state budget. The main part of the thesis deals with the implementation of emission component of carbon tax on commodities and consequently the impact of this tax to the state budget of the Czech Republic.

Optimalization of MEA structure for low temperature fuel cells
Chladil, Ladislav ; Novák, Vítězslav (referee) ; Barath, Peter (advisor)
This master’s thesis focuses on optimization of electrode configuration in combination with a polymer membrane (MEA - Membrane Electrode Assembly) in terms of material and technology. The main goal was to create a functional measurement of MEA structures with three different types of carbon materials. The theoretical part focuses on the physical and chemical properties of low-temperature fuel cells with polymer membrane. The experimental section describes the manufacture of catalytic materials with different types of carbon and various contents platinum. Produced by electrode materials were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The next step was to manufacture MEA structures and characteristics of VA measurement using a digitally controlled load in the experimental fuel cell Quintech.
