Copyright protection of computer programs
Chudoba, Lukáš ; Holcová, Irena (advisor) ; Křesťanová, Veronika (referee)
Shrnutí / Resumé Copyright protection of computer programs The legal protection of computer programs in Czech Republic is quite new and dynamic branch of law. Its main source is copyright act (No. 121/2000) as the patent law doesn't apply on computer programs. The original software (being the result of author's own intellectual creation) is protected as a literary work, with a couple of differences. The regime of computer programs contrasts to other works especially in regularization of exceptions and limitations to copyright. Czech copyright act is based on dualism of author's moral and economic rights. This dualism is not pure and brings some compromises as usual in other foreign systems of law. Only the natural person can be treated as author in Czech Republic. In certain cases (as the employee work) the author's rights are however exercised by other person who can be both natural and legal person. The license agreement is a sole type of contract regulated by the copyright act. I have tried to describe not only the letter of law, but also practical problems and uncertainties I have experienced during my practice in this work. Copyright protection is quite wide and gives effective tools to author including his claim for recognition of his authorship, prohibition of the exposure of his rights, disclosure...

Optimization of Distribution of Advertising Brochures
Naglová, Martina ; Fábry, Jan (advisor) ; Jágerová, Tereza (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to determine the optimal route for delivery of advertising brochures. To address this problem, Chinese Postman Problem is used. In contradistinction to other works, this practical work is modified by inclusion of the streets width and number of houses into calculation. The postman can go through the street by two different ways. There is undirected graph with unrequired edges in the practical work. Because of extensiveness of this work it was necessary to use software products, specifically Lingo. It is described Chinese Postman Problem, its mathematical model, history and modifications and basic concepts of theory of graphs, where Chinese Postman Problem belongs to.

Jets in Heavy Ion Collisions at the ATLAS Detector
Spousta, Martin ; Dolejší, Jiří (advisor) ; Chýla, Jiří (referee) ; Bielčíková, Jana (referee)
After some introduction to the quantum chromodynamics and physics of the heavy ions collisions, and after a brief review of the ATLAS detector, the attention is focused to the main aim of the work. The main aim of the work is to develop and test algorithms suitable for the jet reconstruction in heavy ion collisions at the ATLAS detector. After the detailed description of these algorithms and their implementation to the official software of the ATLAS detector, the author analyzes their performance and provides expectation of accuracy of jet measurements in the heavy ion collisions. The rest of the work focuses on a possibility to study the influence of jets by the medium created in heavy ion collisions.

The following chapters describe all types of streets in our problem, mathematical model and interpretation of the optimal solution. Example is solved with optimizing software LINGO.

Building and exploitation of smaller enterprise computer network
Holubička, Pavel ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
The main aim of this work is to describe the gradual building, exploitation, and dissemination of specific enterprise computer network in the Czech company VHL Ltd. The pivotal challenge was not only write down the process, but in practice also the extension of the network by server, the wireless segment, and the connection of two remote computer networks with reference not only to functionality, but also for safety. To achieve the results it was therefore necessary to combine theory with practice. Individual work procedures have been tried, tested and evaluated. In the negative results the whole process had to be repeated several times so. In the bachelor's thesis, there are many instructions on what to do in setting up individual network services as well as ensure their security. The first chapter deals with the theoretical knowledge about LAN and WLAN networks. More closely are describe various standards, network elements and their characteristics, and provided services. The second examines the evolution from the beginnings to the present network. More detailed is describe the enlarging of the wireless network, its construction, security, and testing. The point of third chapter is to give overall view of the extension by network server. It describes the choice of hardware with using multicriterial selection, and the selection, evaluation and installation of the operating system. Subsequently, it deals with hardware and software security of the server and with connection of the remote networks through VPN instrument. In conclusion, there are attended a few words to the potential innovation.

Tax advantages of tax and accounting records
Mandátová, Nikola ; Kozlová, Taťána (advisor) ; Lešetický, Ondřej (referee)
In the theoretical part of my thesis, I characterized the tax and accounting records in order to indicate the basic differences between these forms of registration of transactions, I have also outlined the theoretical transition from tax records to the accounting and put near questions about association of individuals. The goal of my work was to determine the association of individuals AUTO to remain in tax records, to go voluntarily to the accounting records or to keep accounts as a legal person. Based on the outputs of the economic software POHODA I prepared, using graphs and tables, comparison of these options. Each form has certain advantages and disadvantages. My task consisted of determining the economic result and tax base for the various options and by comparing these results to decide which of these options will be, for a particular association of individuals and from a tax point of view, optimal.

The document will be conceived as well arranged view of funding situation in the Czech Republic. It will be usable as directions as well to those who will try to find a solution of similar situation in the future. Technical utilities in laboratories and scientific workplaces in general are often very expensive. The simplest way how to fund this equipment is to use university financial sources. However, financial position of academic subjects is not simple. Subjects don't work out about amount of their budgets and subsidiary gainful activity is very complicated. They must seek for financial support of their projects generally. There are number of funding possibilities, from academic grants and funds of Ministry of Education up to European Union purpose-built capitation grants. Assignment of these coffers is governed by strict rules and especially depends on subject activities, which will be financed from them.
