Pressure losses and heat output of the hydraulic blocks of a linear integrated hydraulic unit
Soukup, Lubomír ; Červinka, Martin (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
A common problem in the design of hydraulic systems is the pressure losses caused by movement of viscous liquid in individual elements of hydraulic circuits. These losses have negative effects on the overall efficiency of hydraulic systems and thus their overall operation. There is a change in temperature of working fluid and components (elements) of circuit due to the result of the mentioned losses. This master thesis is focused on the heat generation (output) in hydraulic cubes of a linear integrated hydraulic cubes (here in after LIHJ) which is the prototype of hydraulic lifting equipment. Losses, arising during the operation LIHJ in pipes and in hoses, can be determined numerically and experimentally. Most of hydrostatic transmitters and others hydraulic components are almost always supplied with the necessary documentation which contains all the necessary information such as experimental characteristics, etc. However problematic parts are the hydraulic blocks which are specific to their size and function. Of course, each manufacturer must prepare technical documentation including characteristics which are important for trouble-free operation of the hydraulic system. The main aim of this work is to determine pressure losses and the heat generation (output) in the hydraulics blocks by program which is used for creating geometry and computing using software like Ansys Fluent, which is based on the finite element method. If these calculations could be compared with experimental measurement technically, then heat generation (output) in both the cubes will be evaluated towards other hydraulic components and the whole system (device). The simulation results will be implemented in software which is used for calculation of heat generation in LIHJ at different operating modes and loads. Furthermore, these results will be the basis for the design of geometry of hydraulic blocks with low pressure losses which will reduce energy consumption of the device. At the end of this thesis, some advanced methods for the manufacturing of hydraulic blocks are briefly introduced, namely the method 3-D casting.
Warm-air heating and ventilating system for low-energy family house
Musil, Zdeněk ; Katolický, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with warm-air heating and ventilation system of energyefficient family house. The part of thesis is theoretical introduction to low-energy and passive houses, ventilation and heating. The proposal itself is based on the applicable standards and includes all progressive steps, including the calculation of the thermal performance and sizing individual parts of the system. The drawing project documentation is listed in appendixes.
Heating buildings. building resources on different types of fuel in assessing economic benefits
Dvořák, Václav ; Ing. Vrána (referee) ; Vališ, Ivan (advisor)
This work deals with the topic „Heating buildings building resources on different types of fuel in assessing economic benefits“. On this theme is elaborated theoretical part, then the topic is applied to the specified building. The project is design central heating, water heating, water heater design power unit. The project is designed in two versions. In the first variant are the heat source gas boilers. In the second variant are the heat source heat pumps.
Design and construction laboratory exercise with Peltier cell
Mejzlík, Michal ; Šlezingr, Jan (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
The introduction of this paper describes three thermoeletrical effects and their properties. It also deals with thermoelectrical cells, which are using Seebeck´s and Peltrier´s effects. The paper decribes principles how the Peltier´s cells work, their mathematical model, construction and practical use. The paper shows what kinds, shapes and output we can meet at the market and which kinds of parameters regulate their selection. The paper suggests the possibility to measure characteristic behaviour and quantity during laboratories tasks and their evaluations. At the conclusion is adduced the suggestion of laboratory task together with theoretically made pilot protocol.
Heat exchanger design
Zdvyhal, Marian ; Hrnčířová, Michaela (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis solves design of a heat exchanger for hot water boiler with gasification chamber for preheating the combustion air with the heat of the combustion products. Calculation values were experimentally measured. Thesis contains brief description of the shell and tube heat exchanger, stoichiometric combustion calculation, geometrical dimensions design of the heat exchanger, pressure loss and thermal performance calculation. It also includes drawings of the designed exchanger.
Risk assessment design margin of process and power equipment
Horsák, Jan ; Pačíska, Tomáš (referee) ; Jegla, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work is devoted to description of methodology of determining process and power equipment design margins, which is based on assessment of a relative process importance of the equipment in question. The methodology is theoretically analysed, brought into context of common design practice and demonstrated on actual cases. Substantial part of this work analyses heat transfer in general as a base of heat exchanger design process.
Heat radiators.
Zygmont, Martin ; Pešek, Martin (referee) ; Katolický, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis gives an overview of heating elements, their division into four basic groups and a description of each body. Also listed are the essential characteristics of the individual elements and their behavior in the heating systems. This work also deals with the influence of certain characteristics of heating elements in their behavior and presents the advantages and disadvantages of heating elements.
Heating multifunctional building
Čajčíková, Jolana ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The theme of this bachelor´s thesis are problems of condensing gas boiler rooms in the theoretical part and heating multifunctional building in the calculation part. The four-floor multifunctional building is situated in Brno in a slightly built-up area and includes commercial units, classrooms and administrative units for rent, an IT company and a restaurant for 120 people situated in the fourth floor. The heat source for this building is a gas condensing boiler room. The heating surface consists of steel panel radiators. There is forced ventilation installed in the building.
Hot water heating civil buildings
Vecheta, Aleš ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to design heating and warming of a TV in civil building. It is a building with overall built up area of 410.44 m2 which has two above-ground floors and under some parts of the building is a cellar. Heating is mainly delivered by heating units with local source of heat. Water in the pool uses warming with the help of a heat exchanger connected to a source of heat. The theoretical part is focused on the heat. There are described basic portion of the hinge and condensing boilers. Combustion principle and the principle of participation.
Heating type of hotel building
Rulíšková, Pavla ; Ambrožová, Iva (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes design of hotel and restaurant heating. The work is divided in several parts. The first part presents theory of cascade boilers. There are described the basic parts of this systems, their design and regulation. The second part is devoted to calculations. There are calculation of heat losses, design of radiators, design of heat source, pipe dimensionig, hydraulic assessment and desing of safety devices. In the third part is attached technical report and drawings of radiators connection a and drawings of boiler connection.
