Revitalization of rivers on the way fish-passing facility building

The bachelor thesis is consisted of two parts. First part is about causes of fish migration and revitalization of streams by building of fish ladders over migration barriers. There are described two basic types of fish ladders, natural and technical including main features. Further it is about design, parameters and check of function of fish ladders. At the end there is summary of legislation and funding options of construction. The second part is dedicated to specific fish ladder. The fish ladder is situated to weir on the river Jihlava in Cvrcovice village. Bachelor thesis is here dedicated to description of one particular fish ladder based on actual fish stock. In this part there are hydraulic countings and specific data acquired of HEC-RAS program, in which was fish ladder designed and tested in simulated run based on hydraulic conditions.
Analysis of migration in the Czech Republic on the district level

This bachelor thesis focuses on internal migration in the Czech Republic on the district level. The aim of the thesis is to explain the relative number of immigrants to particular districts, relative number of emigrants from districts and mainly their difference - growth in the year 2013 with the help of different factors, such as criminality, unemployment, area, and so on. The factors are named and their influence on the relative number of immigrants, emigrants and growth is predicted. Then these data are analysed and three different models are constructed to explain the growth of population. In the first model all districts are taken into account. In the second model three districts of Prague are removed and in the last one, in addition to Prague, central districts of Brno and Ostrava are also removed. After comparing the three models we find out that models are quite similar and not all factors influence the growth of population as we expected.
Immigration into the Czech Republic between 1989 and 2013

This thesis is focused on analysis of immigration processes into the Czech Republic between 1989 and 2013. The theoretical part contains basic concepts, theoretical base and the Czech immigration law between 1989 and 2013. Second part of the thesis is focused on quantification, national composition, regional distribution and economic activities of immigrants and foreigners in the Czech Republic. According to migration theories, migration is determinated mainly by migration policy, global and also local economic and security situation. This was confirmed on case of the Czech Republic. Number of foreigners in the Czech Republic between 1989 and 2013 had mostly growing trend. Number of immigrants had unstable trend in chosen period. That was depending on the aforementioned factors, legislation and also methodics of immigration monitoring. The most frequent foreigners in whole chosen period were citizens of Slovakia, Ukraine, Vietnam, Russia and Poland. This thesis may have other use as base for another research in international immigration into the Czech Republic.
Swedish immigration policy in the context of EU immigration policy

The theme of this thesis is the Swedish immigration policy in the context of EU immigration policy. The aim of thesis is to analyze Swedish immigration and integration policies and identify their key characteristics. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the definition of migration policy, basic concepts of migration and integration models. European immigration policy is built up on the theoretical basis from which comes out the setting of Swedish immigration policy. . The second chapter focuses on the integration of immigrants into the Swedish society and is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the development and setting of Swedish integration policy, the second part focuses on the integration of immigrants into the labour market. In the third chapter is the main focus on the problems and prospects of the Swedish migration policy. The three subchapters concentrate on the problems associated with the current European migration crisis, the international dimension of migration policy in Sweden and its priorities in this field and the last part attempts to evaluate the success of integration measures in Sweden.
Capital change caused by the influence of migration wave within the European Union in 2014 and 2015

This thesis deals with the influence of waves of migration in the European Union in 2014 and 2015 to change the capital. Specifically, the one-time change of capital in terms of effective labor. This objective has been addressed in the Solow model by adopting the method of fixed effects. Panel data used for the calculation was collected from the database of the World Bank, Eurostat and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Based on the obtained data it was not possible to demonstrate the influence current migration wave to the capital change effective labor because of the absence of data for the last two years. For this reason, efforts were made to verify some quantitative conclusions Solow model on the resultant data set. Based on the results obtained for the use of data, we can say that we managed to confirm some conclusions about the growth factors and the influence of individual variables Solow model. Another finding relates to the inability to examine the potential economic effects of the current migration wave to the absence of data in recent years.
External Migration Policy of the European Union in Relationships With Third World Countries - Opportunities and Risks

Diploma thesis focuses on migration policy in the European Union in the field of human migration flows from third world countries. The main aim of this thesis is to define global approach to theories of migration and analyze the development of external migration policies of The European Union since 1985 to the present when massive migration flows of people from third world countries hit Europe. Another aim is to evaluate consequences, opportunities and risks for destination countries which can be affected by the international migration. These chapters also introduce the legislative framework of migration policies in the European Union and they introduce security strategies and organizations that are involved in the management of migration flows to the European Union. Second part of this thesis analyses a massive migration flows to EU region after year 2011 and this part also identifies changes in migration policy as a response to this unexpected situation. Another aim is to confirm or disprove the hypotheses, whether migratory flows are the main driver in European population growth and whether there are any changes in the security issues across whole European region. The thesis follows the datasets from European Commission, Eurostat, Europol and from another organizations collecting information on key statistics in the EU. On the basis of the acquired data, the hypotheses about the existence of a correlation between the immigration, population growth and changes in the security field were confirmed.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate importance of OKD company in moravia-silesian region according to unemployment and migration of young people. Second aim is comparison of wages in moravia-silesian region and Czech republic. Third aim is evaluation of current and future state of the OKD company in moravia-silesian region. Aims of thesis in theoretical part are achieved by literature review. In practical part are aims achieved by following methods: synthesis, analysis and observation. Thesis benefit is evaluation of OKD infuence in moravia-silesian region and effect of company in fields of unemployment, wages and migration in the region.
Effect of migration on economy of selected countries of OECD from 1950 to 2014

This bachelors thesis focuses on the analysis of effect of migration on economy of selected countries of OECD from 1950 to 2014, specifically on the economical impact of immigration to the United States and Belgium. In the theoretical part I explain basic types of immigration, causes of migration and economic theories of impacts on the labor market, summary of history of immigration to the OECD countries and effect of migration on economic indicators. The second part is the correlation analysis itself, performed by comparison of selected economic indicators. After that detected results of U.S. and Belgium are compared. Based on the obtained data, it was found that the impact of immigrants on economy of United States is rather positive and impact on economy of Belgium rather negative. It is caused mainly due to the different characteristics of immigrants and diverse migration policies.
Development of migration from Vietnam to the Czech Republic and its impact on the local labour market

The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to analyze migration from Vietnam to the Czech Republic and its impact on the local labour market. Although the migration movements from Vietnam to the present Czech Republic were already registered in 40s of the last century, it is still current topic, which has political, social and economic impacts on both countries. Despite the immigrants are thought to deprive local citizens of job, we can claim based on the analysis of the collected quantitative data that this statement is not true. The practical part of this thesis demonstrates that over 90 % of the economically active Vietnamese are entrepreneurs. Others are employed in positions that require only minimal qualifications, and are particularly rejected by Czech economically active people. The rejection could be caused by low wages, high physical or psychological demands, and also low social status associated with specific job.
European migration crisis and the role of selected countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany

This master s thesis deals with European migration crisis and the role of selected countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany. The thesis is divided into theoretical and analytical part. The theoretical part contains definitions of basic terms. For better orientation in this subject, it is crucial to distinguish between the terms migrant, refugee and spurious refugee. Another section is devoted to the theory of migration and asylum and migration policy. More extensive analytical part of the thesis is dedicated to possible causes of the current migration crisis and demographic structure of migrants. Furthermore a large part of the thesis is devoted to their level of education. In subsequent chapters the thesis deals with the impact of the migration crisis on economic and social aspects. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current status of the migration crisis in the EU and to compare the approach of selected countries to this crisis. The comparison is included in the last chapter.
