Nanotechnology and its importance in the Czech economy
Škrabáková, Romana ; Vlčková, Jana (advisor) ; Jusko, Ján (referee)
For a small open economy such as the Czech Republic are important innovations, high value-added business and export. The main objective of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the overall advancement of nanotechnology and its impact on the economy, not only in the world but mainly in the Czech Republic. The paper first describes nanotechnology theoretically, its history and use. The second part focuses on the importance of nanotechnology to the world economy. On nanotechnologies in Czech Republic focuses third chapter, which evaluates funding, research and development of nanotechnology, the impact on the Czech economy and compares the position of the Czech Republic and other countries. The last part is devoted to the future of nanotechnology and the impact of their progress on the economy and investment.
The use of nanotechnology in agricultural production.
BAHENSKÝ, Bohumír
This thesis defines nanotechnology. It focuses on their use in various industries, especially in agriculture. The experiment in this paper is concerned Envirolyte that produces electrochemically activated water. The device was used in raising chickens for meat to disinfect drinking water and thus reduce the emission of gases. Was compared to the reference and experimental hall, which used Envirolyte el-900. Production of ammonia emissions in specific reference lobby is 0,307210 kg / pcs / year and for the experimental hall 0,165054 kg / pcs / year, which is a decrease of 46%. Operation rate is 92,15 CZK / day. Annual operating costs are 23 221,8 CZK and costs of reducing ammonia emissions by 1 kg is 321,8 CZK.
Hygiene Problems Associated with Nanoparticles
LHOTSKÁ, Veronika
Nanotechnology is a rapidly developing branch and its popularity quickly ratchets up. Currently, nanomaterials form parts of a range of products of daily consumption. They are put into foodstuffs, cosmetics, and are used in medical science and technical branches. Nanomaterials are being considerably popularized which has helped them to penetrate into the lay public. The information from media are mostly given in a non-professional way and misrepresented, and taken from the context, they have sensationalist and advertising character. My thesis summarizes the basic finding about nanomaterials, their usage in practice and their effect on man´s health. Two hypotheses were fixed: The usage of nanomaterials is medially popularized but the non-professional public is not informed correctly about it. The lay public is not aware of possible negative effects of nanomaterials on man´s health.
The conceptual design milking parlor using nanotechnology.
KLÍMA, Josef
This thesis follow up research and camparison of commonly used chemicals for disinfection of milking device and alectrochemically adapted water. Research was conducted on two same milking parlor, where one was used chemicals and in the second abeyance periodically reducting the amount of chemicals and electrochemically treated water. The results were compared from patterns of milk. The quantities of chemical subserviences been reduced to 250 grams (41,6%) of the original 600 grams recommended by the manufacturer. This reduction in cost reductions brought to one liter of milk by 0,71 CZK.
Application of nanotechnology in agriculture
BOČEK, Jan
This work focuses ou a presentation of nanotechnologies: their definition, their use in all fields of seience in the present time and in the future and to their possible misuse. The next focus of this work is the use of nanotechnologies in agriculture, specifically in animal production when administering mediciene to economic animals. For these purposes the Envirolyte apparatus is used for the production of anolyt wheich is administered to animals or used for spraying a hall. The thesis mentions the applications in the following breeding: breeding of cattle, breeding of pigs and breeding of poultry. The work contains my own measurement daily consumption of components with pigs, performance of electrical motor and water flow rate.
Analýza oděvního a textilního průmyslu a předpověď nových trendů a modelů pro více udržitelný, ekologický a etický výrobní proces.

The increase of trading has created many environmental, ecological, social and ethical problems. The main concern across all industries is to create more sustainable, eco-friendly and ethical manufacturing processes. Only by influence consumer's purchasing behavior there might be the demand for eco-green products. The fashion and textile industry as one of the main contributor to the world's economy is one of the main environmental polluter (e.g.: soil, lakes, river and air). Recently, many young fashion designers started to offer eco-green fashion to the market. This new phenomenon might change the course of the world fashion industry. The goal of this research is to find out the real demand for eco-green products and its impacts on the traditional methods of fashion manufacturing. Three geographical areas where chosen to represent consumption side (US and EU (UK)) and manufacturing side (China). The specific fashion garment was chosen to demonstrate detailed analysis of the manufacturing processes and its new eco-green formula -- the denim jeans. The primary and secondary research approaches were chosen to cover the whole industrial view on this phenomenon. The outcome of the research showed that the major impact was on the general consumer's purchasing behavior and their life style. It is a new trend and concept that is reshaping the traditional fashion business models. Denim jeans industry leaders such as Levi's Strauss are in process of implementing eco-green, ethical and fair-trade factors into their long-term strategy.
Evaluation of economic effectivity of breeder technology in chosen farm.
KOHOUT, Jiří
Work is focused on economics evaluation during using electrolytic adjusted water (EUV). This adjusted water is used instead of conventional chemical preparatories which are usually used for killing pathogenic microorganisms (desinfection).
