First measurements with U-probe on the COMPASS tokamak

A complex electrostatic-magnetic probe diagnostics, baptized as ‘U-probe’, has been installed on COMPASS tokamak recently. Probe composes of two identical towers. Each tower houses 3 radially spaced sets of 3D coils, triple probe and rake probe – array of six Langmuir probes. The U-probe measures electric and magnetic properties of the filamentary structures in the edge plasma, particularly the floating potential profile and local magnetic field within the plasma filaments. Contribution presents first tests and results obtained.

Infrared Thermography on the COMPASS Tokamak

This contribution describes a new slow infrared camera obtained by the COMPASS tokamak at IPP Prague. We focus on the camera limitations affecting the experimental data (temporal and spatial smoothing, time shift). Data time deconvolution used to correct the effect of the long response time of the camera detector is described. The second part of the contribution is devoted to the physic basis for the design of a new fast IR camera system planned for installation in COMPASS during the next year.

Analysis of selected effects on milk production and fetility in holstein cattle herd

Cattle production plays a very important role in agriculture and economics. It provides key inputs to crop production, but it also forms an integral part of human nutrition. For us the most bred cash breed is Holstein cattle. Its share of the total cow population in the Czech Republic is now 57 percent. The average yield in Holstein cattle in the Czech Republic is 9000 kilograms of milk, making us one of the major EU countries. The aim of my bachelor?s dissertation was to evaluate selected influences on milk yield and fertility in high productive herd of Holstein cattle. Evaluation was hold in ?Agropodnik Košetice, stock company? Chyšná on the farm where is kept 389 Holstein milking cows. On milk cows were monitored indicators such as milk yield in kilograms of milk, lactation, age at first calving, calving month, height in loins, the length of service period and the course of involution of the uterus. From the ascertained results emerge a provable impact sequence from lactation and calving month on milk yield. Milk production in the first lactation was 9 526.97kg, 2nd lactation was 9 727.96kg, 3rd lactation was 10 628.06kg and 4th and other lactations were 11 272.52 kg. In the autumn there was higher milk production at milk cows were calved and the production was 11 163.48kg. The cows calved in summer was yield about 836 kg less. The influence of the length of uterine involution service period was statistically highly significant difference (P ? 0.001) between the healthy group and the group treated within 40 days. The length of a service period was 142.63 days at healthy cows. Cows that treated the longest took about 251 days. As statistically significant (P ? 0.01) was shown the influence of the height of loins at first born calf on milk yield in kilograms of milk. Highest heifers in the herd produced milk at 1 lactation of 10 222.94 kg. Cows with a height in loins up to 142 cm and from 143 cm to 146 cm produced the lactation about 1000 kg lower. Also, the impact of age at first calving and the yield in kilograms of milk on fertility was found to be statistically significant (P ? 0.01). At cows calved at the age of 652-700 days was the longest service period 176.86 days. Cows calved at the age of 751 days had the length of service period 118.67 days. As statistically insignificant was evaluated only the impact sequence of lactation on service period. The results show the importance of herd management, because whichever monitored has impact on affecting the economic efficiency of milk production.

Hizb ut-Tahrir in the UK

The thesis deals with the international Islamic fundamental organization Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami. The first part contains information about a brief history and leading personalities of this organization. Next it analyses objectives of the Hizb ut-Tahrir and its strategy in general, by which the party wants to achieve its goals. Further the thesis describes a party hierarchical structure from the highest positions to the ordinary members. Then it is summarizing Hizb ut-Tahrir?s ideology itself, with an emphasis on party?s radical attitudes, contrary to the legal and social standards of Western societies. The second part of thesis is focused on a description of Hizb ut-Tahrir?s activities and measures directed against this organization by the governments of states with Muslim majority in North Africa, Middle East, Central Asia, South and Southeast Asia, for which the organization represents security threat, because of its efforts to coup d'etat and re-establishment of the pan-Islamic state. Further there is a description of Hizb ut-Tahrir?s operations in Western countries (In Germany, Denmark and in the UK), where the party causes problems because of its disintegration rhetoric and intolerant attitudes. More attention is given to an issue of national fraction of the Hizb ut-Tahrir in the UK considering, that the main executive leadership of the party resides there. Using this example helps to approximate, that the party did not actually change its radical program, but it is only trying to adapt to an increased pressure from the government of the UK, which twice tried to ban the organization.

The pilgrimages to Medjugorje and their influence on deepening laymen´s religious lifes

This thesis describes the influence of pilgrimages on deeping of believers´s religious life. It approaches spiritual life in the pilgrimage site in Medjugorja. It evaluates the effects of the spiritual aspiration and it shows evidence of conversion. It refers to the consequence of the Marian message and it specifies the resources for acquisition of the mercy of God. Thesis extracts information from the available literature and also from author´s own personal experiences. In the final result it brings the recognition of the love and the mercy of Father God. It is appointed to everybody who wants to find the right meaning of its own life.

The language and style of the "Sestra" journal

The aim of this thesis is the analysis of language and style of the Sestra journal. This is a professional monthly journal devoted to nurses and non-medical staff in sanitary departments, it?s published since 1991 and several publishers are already involved in its distribution. Thesis is divided into three parts. The first is a theoretical chapter in which we discuss the functional styles and how they are perceived and named by different stylists. The journal is represented by several styles, some texts go beyond the boundaries of individual styles. The following is a practical part in which we will discuss journal characteristics, self-presentation and also a short presentation of the Zdravotnická pracovnice journal which preceded the Sestra journal. Even the transformation of formal aspects is not omitted ? it concerns both the cover and internal arrangement of the journal. So the journal cover, the editorials and the professional journal sections (annex and the thematic books) and other texts are important journal components. Although the journal changed during the years, the types of texts do not undergo significant changes, only the representation of functional styles is different. Next section of the practical part is focused on analysis on the text level (language and style) of individual functional styles ? it will be the professional, educational, artistic, journalistic, promotional and administrative style. More generally, I want to remark also the linguistic aspects, in terms of phonetics, morphology and lexicology. The last chapter is part of the research based on interviews with health care workers ? readers of the Sestra journal. Even though this is a high quality and a good level journal, their responses and comments can bring some benefits to the journal itself, how to get closer to readers, how to make it more pleasant or how to remove any gaps. In this part of the thesis evaluation of the research and proposals how to change the journal are not missed.

The book of contracts of the domain Nový Rychnov 1799-1831

The book of contracts of the domain Nový Rychnov 1799 {--} 1831 The bachelor essay is an edition of one volume of land registers of domain Nový Rychnov. It was led in 1799-1831 and can be called by the termin {\clq}qbook of documents.`` There are many types of records in this book, especially wedding contracts, inheritance, contracts about property transactions and debts. The introduction deals with patrimonial administration in the end of the 18th and first half of 19th century and recapitulates the history of the land registers. The attention is concentrated on the analysis of the system of land registers of the domain Nový Rychnov and placing the book of contracts into this system. The next chapter dwells of components records, which have been made into the dealing book. Great emphasis is stressed on problem of emergence of the different types of records, on comparison with dossiers and on the problem of compatibility the book of contracts with other types of sources. The proper edition is perfected by footnotes, and name, subject and place index nad with other supplements. The aim of bachelor essay is substantiate the importance of land registers of the 19th century and significance and contents of their records and refer to wide possibilities of their explotation.
