New research methods in transport geography

The concept of the study of transport geography is not uniform. The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate and characterize development of research topics, main paradigms, concepts and research methods of transport geography since its establishment as an independent discipline, furthermore, to define new research methods. In ´90s the geography turns to mobility, to the one of the main concept of transport geography. Mobility has always been at the centre of an interest of transport geography, however, its conception and the approach to mobility has been changed throughout the time, as well as conception of accessibility. Research topics of transport geography have been significantly changed in last decades. Geographical research shifts from one-sided focus on the transport and transport system to the more various and more specific relationship where a man and his perception of space and movement plays the main part.

Logistic optimization of vehicles and staff in the CZE Army

The thesis is focused on logistics transport sector, particularly transportation in the Czech Republic and partly on the military transports differences. The theoretical part covers the history of transportation, describes the most common methods, their advantages and disadvantages for the owner and for a society. Specifics, e.g. associated risks of military transports, are also covered in the theoretical part as well as an overview of national authorities involved in military transports planning and execution process. The practical part brings up model examples of military vehicles and equipment transport using different means (military transport capabilities; national railway net or contractor/carrier). The aim of thesis is to analyze and compare three different methods of transportation from the perspective of military requirements. In first method the transport will be provided by own available military road trasport capabilities. Next will be a rail transport utilizing the ČD Cargo and the last one provided by an independent contractor.

This Bachelor's Thesis introduces technological transportation in crop production. Bachelor's Thesis deals with the problem of transport in agriculture and addresses issues of legislation of transport in agriculture. Further, there is a mention of transportation in crop production, design solution of container system or panel mounting system. Finally, work compares the technical parameters and the price of two producers panel mounting system of transport.

The main aim of bachelor thesis is comparison of customer satisfaction two transport companies. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part describes transport services, service quality, customer satisfaction and loyalty and marketing research. In the second part deals with the results of the primary survey questionnaire and tested hypotheses. At the conclusion of the thesis are formulated recommendations for both transport companies.

Návrh optimalizace dopravy v městě Brně

Transport has besides to its irreplaceable positives also a large number of negative effects. Most of these effects pervade all elements of the environment and has a harmful effect on organisms. This thesis is focused on describing the impacts of transport with a detailed approach to air pollution and traffic load in the city of Brno, next there is general description of the current traffic problems in cities and its solutions in other European countries, including a comparison with the situation in Brno. Using a questionnaire is finded out satisfaction of passengers with the Brno public transport including proposals of passengers to improve the situation. In conclusion of thesis are desing solutions of optimizing transport in Brno by using the acquired knowledge and consideration of their implementation.

The Czech Republic as a country situated in the middle of Europe has in term of transportation a strategic position. Its road-traffic infrastructure has to make possible a fluent connection among the European industrial and commercial centers. The road-traffic infrastructure has to afford a corresponding service to the users of transportation. The purpose of the thesis "Electronic toll" is a summary of systems which are, used in the Czech Republic and neighboring countries. The practical part of the thesis is a suitability of choice of the route from Brno to Rapperswil, Switzerland.

Traffic Accidents and their Impact on Revenues and Expenditures of the Czech Republic.

The main aim of my thesis is the analysis of the traffic accidents and their cause on the roads of the Czech Republic.The first part of my thesis deals with the theoretical outcome of this matter which is necessary for further cover of my work.It is followed up with a practical part in which all statistic data, that had been used for the assessment of the situation,have been worked out.The methods the data have been coverd are the endorsement method, method of sequence and the method of respected sequence. In the frame of this thesis the comparison of the Czech Republic with a chosen EU state has been done. The secondary aim of my thesis is to find out the impact of the accidents on the revenues of the state budget, particularly of the problematic groups that cause the accidents on the roads.In the last part of my thesis there is a summary of all analysed results of the matter and subsequently safety measures for potential improvement of the situation have been done.

Transport services in Českobudějovicko area in term of Tourism

The aim of the study was to assess the current transport services for České Budějovice region for tourism needs, based on field research to reveal strengths and weaknesses and devise a solutions to improve the situation and propose optimization project. The project of optimization called Optimization of cycle path České Budějovice - Hluboká nad Vltavou - Purkarec - Týn nad Vltavou was suggest based on the analysis of the current state, of the field research and information from the staff of South Bohemia Cycling Foundation.
