Ovládání počítače pomocí gest
Tyksová, Lucie
This diploma thesis deals with controlling computers by gestures. It contains a description of motion capture and available technologies, a more detailed description of the Microsoft Kinect sensor and a summary of available libraries for developing applications controlled by Kinect. Part of this thesis is also a list of projects from various areas that are working with Kinect. The output of this thesis is an application controllable by natural hand gestures, to allow common tasks such as selecting elements, browsing through images, etc. Data from the Kinect sensor are processed through the Microsoft Kinect SDK. The application is implemented in C#.
Information Panel for Production Line
PICHL, Jan
This paper describes the development of device that allows the promotion of production efficiency. It displays the number of products manufactured on the manufacturing line and compares this information with the plan of production. Part of this thesis is the production of control board panel, software solutions and putting this device into operation.
Data preprocessing for data mining systems
Falc, Václav ; Berka, Petr (advisor) ; Zumr, Jiří (referee)
Main target of this graduation thesis was creating system for data preparation. System was created using programing languages C#, SQL and partly in XML and HTML.
Comparison of .NET and other platforms for developing web applications
Louda, Petr ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
The thesis complements a comparison of two frameworks for Java platform and PHP language by third framework for .NET platform. As the main source of comparison serves thesis by František Odehnal and a sample application developed in ASP.NET MVC framework. Thanks to the detailed description of the application development and application of reasonable complexity thesis can serve as a study material for novice developers. A secondary aim of this thesis is to complete the context of web application development, by analyzing trends in rapid application development (RAD) and through presentation of .NET platform. Following František Odehnal's methodology this thesis complements comparison of Grails and Zend frameworks by ASP.NET MVC framework. The first area comparisons are fundamental differences between the frameworks. A comparison of architecture of frameworks follows and criteria are based on the architectural patterns of Martin Fowler. Working with frameworks is compared by using objective criteria and personal opinions. These areas are complemented by comparison of frameworks support (publications, discussion groups, etc.). Completed comparison allows the reader to get an overview of frameworks for rapid application development on the three major platforms. This can help novice developers in deciding which framework to test or use. Presentation of the platform and the trend analysis provides additional useful information not only for novice developers.
LINQ technology
ČERNÝ, Ondřej
Purpose of this thesis is to overview unified programming model LINQ and its application in C#. It examines effects of LINQ utilization on conventional methods used while working with data in object oriented programming. Major part of this thesis discuss the implementation of LINQ to SQL, however basic information about all the significant methods are also included. Furthermore, it is engaged in development of C# applications using LINQ and may also serve as a learning guide, containing all vital facts about LINQ, its syntax, and its advantages compared to classic principles of data handling.
Design and Implementation of Specialized Community Software, Specifics of its Development and its Launch into the Market
Štemberk, Vladimír ; Stanovská, Iva (advisor) ; Holásek, Jakub (referee)
This thesis can be considered as a realistic business plan focused on designing specialized community software with an objective to establish a custom programming solution within the environment of a particular community of users who are characterized by their reluctance to pay for digital products and by their inclination to illegal sharing. The main goal of my thesis is to develop a specialized download manager that would provide all necessary functionality defined on the basis of requirements specification with a direct participation of end users. I attempt to reach this goal by a detailed and rigorous analysis of the environment and an appropriate solution design. Another goal of my thesis is to successfully launch a final version of programming solution into the target market with a view of a maximum penetration and gaining brand awareness. This goal will be attained via a quality programming solution, suitable advertising campaign, creating partnerships, establishment of distribution channels and setting an adequate price as well as payment methods. The contribution of my thesis lies in the application of a multi-thread and multi-segment data download technology in particular environment of a file-hosting service in a way that it has not been applied in any other competitors' products and in enabling a maximum utilization of the transmission capacity of the user. Finally, this thesis clarifies the users' behavior and introduces possibilities of charging for the programming solution within specific users' community on the Internet.
Create a database of classifications from heterogeneous sources in an XML
Fiala, Petr ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Buchlák, Peter (referee)
The inquiry focuses on figuring out a way of creating a look-up-table database from data in XML files. Date standards created by office workers are generated into different XML files, which are described by XSD scheme.. Therefore one look-up-table corresponds to one file. Further on, it is necessary to save the data into a single database. Firstly the possible options for solutions are described, i.e. researching the possible ways of loading XML data into a database. Later on, for the most appropriate method, with regard to the conditions of the solutions and the characteristics of the task, the solution is then proposed and implemented. The final result is a functional method, which meets all the requirements of the task, together with a user manual and relevant documentation. Finally, the problems of implementation and other options for improvement of the solution are discussed.
.NET & Cryptology
PSÍK, Tomáš
The point of this work is to show how to solve certain cryptographic problems in Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5. The work is divided into three parts. The first is an overview of basic classes and methods which can be used to solve particular cryptographic tasks. This part shows how to use these classes and also is an overview of the most common cryptological terminology also used in this work. The second part shows how to use abstract classes prepared in the framework for implementing an application interface, which unifies usage of all cryptographic transformations under .net. The third part is about deciding on quality of certain implemented cryptographic algorithm. Implementing speed testing application for block ciphers and hash function and it also contains references of basic attacks. Implementations of speed testing program, two block ciphers (Rijndael and Skipjack), all in c#, are listed in Appendix.
