The art between gallery and street or What is the graffiti

Characteristic: Common frame these work is infliction of contemporary phenomenon - graffiti. Work look about this phenomenon in context contemporary trend - break - through steady limits in art, gallery and theory. Theoretical part work is based on charted present special discussion of graffiti, on statement himself writers, on analysis documents and on photographic investigation. In this context work short summarises case-history and present graffiti in company, her relation to hip-hop culture and to social style today's young people. Work try search connection graffiti with art. Presents projects that the help at production and visualization quality authors, locate their relation to street art and to commercial sphere of interest. Author apply also self photographic project that the point on interpretation graffiti on acceptable sites. The art in the life of František Matouš

The diploma thesis {\clqq}The art in the life of František Matouš`` is devoted to the life and production of a southbehemian historian of arts - František Matouš. It is the first essay, wchich is interested in this personality, who was standing not only by the transformation of the Southbohemian museum in České Budějovice into a scientific institution but mainly by the genesis of nowadays collection of southbohemian Gothic in Alšova jihočeská galerie in Hluboká nad Vltavou. Next goal of the thesis is also an introduction of Matouš as southbohemian native, to whom South Bohemia became a wholelife theme, inspiracy and destiny. The work is divided int two main parts {--} it follows the profesional and private life of Matouš and his scientific production. In seven chapters Matouš is portrayed as a student, a directon, a scientific worker and a museum worker. His production is presented by fairy works and essays, next subchapters create three crucial essays of Matouš about gothic art and South Bohemia - Jihočeská gotika, Třeboň and Corpus vitrarum medii aevi. The last chapter introduces the personality of Frnatišek Matouš in the context of czech history of art.
Developement of older school age children's creativity within the leisure time activities

The thesis deals with creativity of the older school age within the leisure time edu-cation. The theoretical part shows the different points of view to the phenomenon of creativity and basic methods of its developement. It describes the specifics of the older school age stage emphasising the way of spending their leisure time. The practical part puts the theoretical knowledge into practice through preparation and realization of the one-week project for the older school age children. The individual activities are linked with a compact game.
The Representation of Motive of Ratcatcher of European Art and Literature

The ratcatcher is a mysterious piper controlling his charming pipe, which has a huge power. This ability enable him not only control the rats but even the people. As person is well known to everybody from different artistic pieces created from medieval to present time. The work marginally occupies with the historical circumstances, which likely are the cause of creation of this mysterious man, who has become the popular motive of many of composers. The main goal is to represent the motive of the ratcatcher in the European art and literature and its following comparison in the individual publications with the purpose to find out in which way was this motive developed. Simultaneously this work looks on the person of ratcatcher like an isolated foreigner.
"I wish I were a painter." Francis Thun in the pre-March era

This thesis concerns a peer Francis Thun (1809-1871) who was one of the most important personalities in the public and cultural life in Bohemia from the 30s till the end of the 60s of the 19th century. Thun {--} a gifted visual artist himself - was particularly interested in the institutions connected with the visual art. The author shows where his long-life interest in the visual arts was formed. She follows his childhood, upbringing, his own artistic beginning and his studies. She particularly considers his ways around Europe and his stay in Dresden, that used to be one of the most important centres of the European Romanticism, and more than a year-long traveling around England, western Europe and Italy. The last part of this thesis deliberates František Thun{\crq}s public activities {--} mainly his work in the artistic politics and in the care of monuments. This work also follows Thun{\crq}s personal life, particularly his marriage with a burgher girl thanks to it he couldn{\crq}t inherite the fideicommissum. This biography is mainly based on personal materials {--} letters and diaries. In terms of them it attempts to show Thun{\crq}s personality and his important life moments.
An abandoned site (A serie of wall paintings in the environs of an urban outskirts)

In this theoretic-practically focused diploma thesis I deal with the issue of an abandoned site and its potencial for the art creation itself. Firs I attempt to foreshow the modern aspects of the art in relation to the urban outskirts creation. I focus on the distinct graffiti phenomenon an its role within the cultural developement of the modern society. In connection with forementioned I aspire to define the phenomenon of site and space. Furthermore I adress the importance of the outskirts with reference to the environmental psychology. Afterwards I carry through a critical reflexion of the theoretical knowledge fragments and apply new findings while resolving the creative task. In the practical part of this thesis I create triptych of wall paintings in the environs of an urban outskirts on the topic of an abandoned site and consequently I carry out their explication.
The path of the water - Land art elements in the context of urbanization of Czech countryside of Český Krumlov

This work is complementary theoretical part of my practical art project on "Path of Water". Introductory chapter is devoted to the water. I'm investigating physical properties of the water in different states of matter and particularly its movement. I even consider its place in the art. The second chapter is devoted to the development of the landscape and its changes caused by the nature and human. The third chapter deals with the meaning, origin and history of land art in the world and in Bohemia. The fourth chapter describes the most interesting places and history surrounding the village Staré Dobrkovice in which the chosen place can be found. Intentions and descriptions of implementations are dealt with in fifth chapter. In the end I summarize the development of entire project and individual parts and I evaluate individual achievements and meeting of determined criteria.
Reality and Virtuality of Game in Postmodernism

The thesis focuses on virtuality and reality of game in history of human culture and on its recent pozition.The first chapter adresses reality and virtuality of game in traditional view definitions. The second chapter describes the evolution of culture in game since human origin to postmodernism and the evolution of game in art. The third chapter takes on the evolution and conditions of postmodern culture, and also game in postmodern art. Further it describes virtuality and reality of game and society nowadays. The fourth chapter again compares recent author's definitions of game and closes the thesis with resulting definition of virtuality and reality of postmodern game.
Development of Cultural Properity, Upbringing for Taste and Possibility Motivation in Frame Pedagogy Free Time

My final thesis describes ways of development of cultural properity, trainings of mind and possibilities of motivation in frame pedagogy free time specialized on a Primary School. Theoretical part contains and explains terms culture, palate (taste), elegance, arts, motivation and free time. Also specify primary school education, creative discourse, in this period and shows the use plastic art in public nursery like one of the key options of spending free time. Practical part focus on a project of plastic arts divided into creative activities realized in the public nursery of the pupils of primary school. Each activity containt detailed motivation, described procedure, conclusion and evaluation of children. This part contains also relationships and dependences between all cultural subjects such as arts, dramatization, music, and gymnastics. Explain as well the structure, application for needs of primary school. Particularity of the work of children in the age of primary school is creativity, spontaneity, unprompted action, enthusiasm, positive stance. When the children are properly instructed they cooperate with their equal, tolerate them and are very help full to each other.
Reception and Reinterpretation of the Ancient Symbols by Early Christianity

This Thesis refers to ancient iconography themes and symbols, which were received by early Christian Art. Primaly, it concerns the reception of form. By means of analysing ancient content and context the paper tries to find a parallel between ancient and christian motives. In this way it intend to answer the question why a concrete theme was taken over. In case the reinterpretation is possible, the thesis offers the interpretation based on biblical theology. This volume presents motives from the Christian catacombs of Rome and also motives derivated from Roman triumph Art, dated to the first centuries.
