Budgeting Process and Economy Analysis in a chosen Municipality

The subject of the thesis, the course of the budgetary process and economic analysis of Pelhřimov indebtedness of the town and the effect of this moment of crisis to profit center. On the basis of theoretical facts and practical findings was analyzed past financial management of the city in 2006 - 2009. The thesis concentrates especially on the most significant budget item, which means they come from and derive income. In the end was analysed financing of municipal budget, debt and built the financial outlook.

Indicators of municipal debt

The aim of bachelor thesis is to assess development of debts in municipalities and precautions against these debts in Czech Republic, which are Monitoring the finances of municipalities of the Ministry of Finance and Financial and property analysis. Secondary aim of bachelor thesis is effectively link these two precautions. In bachelor thesis are described economical theories which are related to public sector. Next the thesis deals with the structure of municipal budget -- mainly incomes, expenditure and municipal finance. Part of thesis is also development of indebtedness in municipalities, causes and preventions for indebtedness in municipalities and regulative of indebtedness in municipalities. The last part of bachelor thesis deals with Financial and property analysis -- mainly indicator of debt service and Monitoring the finances of municipalities of the Ministry of Finance.

Danger of Over-indebtedness to the Czech low-income Households

At first the bachelor thesis discusses the meaning of the term over-indebtedness in the Czech Republic. It is defined as such a financial situation when the subject is unable to fullfill its financial obligations. The work furthermore represents possible solutions for people who found themselves in this situation. The second part examines whether the 20 % of households with the lowest income are more threatend than the others in a few last years and whether they are leading to a debt trap. It deals with the comparison of basic data, which are revenues, expenses, debts and savings among different income groups and also among a few last years. Main conclusion of the thesis is that the financial position of this group of Czech households is stable and not leading to over-indebtedness.

Set of Problems connected with Household Indebtedness at Economic Crisis Time

The aim of my Bachelor's thesis is process the problems of indebtedness of households or individuals in times of economic crisis. In the theoretical part I consider the actual economic crisis, its origins, development and impact on the economy in the Czech Republic. Next I focus on an overview of possible debt, like credit supply to the Czech market, both banks, and non-banking institutions. I also summarized the possibilities of households that are unable to repay loans. In the practical part I analyze the evolution of household indebtedness, and in particular the factors that most affect the final balance of households. As an annex to this thesis, I feature a pilot survey that I conducted to find out who has the most leverag today.

Meaning of debts in the capital structure of czech companies

The goal of this thesis is the analysis of indebtedness in czech industrial companies. I try to describe the situation in particular sectors during years 2001 - 2008. The important part of this thesis is statistical chapter. There I look for relations among economic factors and also create the simple regression model. I found out the positive change of ratios, however in the year 2008 the financial crisis influenced the czech economy, which had the impact on particular sectors. I proved that the correlation between return on assets and debt ratio exists and also the model for the estimated interest rate works.

This Bachelor thesis is focused on applying an Operating and Financial Leverage in connection to a different indebtedness of the particular companies. The first part of my thesis shortly describes a financial analysis, financial data sources and financial analysis methods. It especially deals with Operating, Financial and Total Leverage. An indebtedness and debt financing are also mentioned. In the second part of this thesis I analyse an evolution of chosen indicators to voice certain conclusions. The selected methods are applied to 100 agricultural firms during the period from 2007 to 2008.

The specifics of financing of small municipalities

This thesis deals with analysis of revenues and expenditure for selected small municipalities of South Bohemia in 2008. Revenues are divided into tax, non-tax, capital revenues and transfers received. Revenues are analyzed according to type classification of the budget structure. Expenditures are divided into current and capital. They are also analyzed according to type classification and classification by branch of the budget structure as well. Data are process into tables and graphs. The thesis also analyzes the property of municipalities and their indebtedness. Obtained date are compared with those of other municipalities. The aim is to identify and define the specifics of the financing of small municipalities.
