This dissertation aims to describe the planning and management of a specific project of a construction company. The theory underpinning this subect is explained first, before being applied to the project in question. The selected project is the construction of a new shopping centre in Stare Mesto near Uherske Hradiste which was completed during 2019 and 2020.

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the organization of a construction project. The theoretical part is focused on the explanation of basic concepts and methods, that are used in the field of project management. The practical part deals with the organization of a construction project of a chosen private company. The company represents the investor of the project as well as the main supplier. The thesis describes the organization of the pre-investment phase of the project, specifically the use of an unutilized land.

The topic of my bachelor thesis is the organization and development of a construction contract. The theoretical part explains, what project management is, describe life cycle of the construction, assessment the price of the construction work and which software is used. In the practical part is the description of the contractor and how the construction proceeded. Subsequently, my alternative procedure is described and its valued by the expert estimate and with the price system. The aim is to evaluate the differences between the real and alternative progress of construction.

The topic of my bachelor thesis is construction project management. This thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, I describe project management, a life cycle of a project, and its documentation and legislation. The practical part focuses on telecommunication towers, important permissions and approvals, which are needed for building these towers. The aim of this thesis is to analyze construction project management in a particular construction firm. The outcome of my thesis is the development of a methodology for managing a new project.

The bachelor’s thesis describes the problematics of implementation of the Building Information Modelling method (BIM) in a specific construction company. The BIM method helps to sustain the company competitiveness and makes construction project management more efficient due to the support of information sharing and cooperation of the stakeholders. The process of implementation was designed based on the company’s analysis using project management methods. The outcomes of the thesis will be applied during the initiation of the BIM method implementation.

The bachelor thesis presents project management as an effective tool for planning and managing a construction project in civil engineering. It contains a theoretical part that explains the basic concepts of project management, its function and methods by which it is applied. Subsequently, the project management is presented on a real pedestrian trail project, for which was a structural, time and financial plan during construction created.
Tool for Projects Management Support

This thesis focuses on support tool for project management. The introduction describes the areas of knowledge management according to current standards of PMI. The focus is placed on the inputs and outputs of each process of all knowledge areas. To demonstrate all the inputs and outputs of processes in order to specify system requirements for transformation the illustrations have been attached. The following chapter investigates the system itself, the process of transformation of inputs to outputs. First of all the requirements specification is created. Requirements are focused on functionality, characteristics and expectations of users. At the selected process in the proposal, in agreement with the supervisor, three methods are selected. Transformation of inputs to output is described in these methods. The system should be designed with regard to the appropriate visualization of the outputs of these three methods. The thorough analysis of the results obtained is presented in the final chapter along with the students' personal contribution and the possible future development.
Tool for Project Stakeholder Management Support

This master's thesis describes a tool supporting management stakeholders. Opening chapters of the thesis describe the theoretical background of the work. There are explained knowledge-based areas of the stakeholder management, human resource management and communications management. Following chapters of the work are devoted to the proposed system. At first there are specified the system requirements generally and then also from the perspective of several major users. Subsequently, the system is designed. The system consists of three main blocks - the identification of stakeholders, the stakeholder analysis using the questionnaire surveys and the setting of the communication strategy. The implementation environment (Java EE) is chosen and the system is implemented in it. Then its functionality is checked up on the pattern of data. In conclusion, the results achieved are evaluated and the outputs of processes in the field of management stakeholders are also discussed. At the end the future development of this master´s thesis is delineated.
