A creation of a web design methodology with an emphasis on UX

This master thesis suggests a new design methodology used for creating web pages, with an emphasis on User Experience (UX). The thesis does not focus on specific web technol-ogies, but it rather concentrates on the process of preparation and design of websites. When applying such a process, the websites will not only meet clients business objectives, but it will also satisfy users requirements. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes the information about User Experience De-sign, defining its processes, terms, tools, tasks and roles associated with it. The outline may serve the developer and the client as a guide when realizing a project or creating a demand for one. The main aim of the practical part is to introduce a new methodology for creating websites focusing mainly on the UX. The methodology is proposed by the author himself, based on his many years of experience in the field, and tested on a real project which is also present-ed in the practical part.
Socioeconomic and environmental aspects of country life (municipality of Dražíč case study)

This thesis discusses socioeconomic and environmental aspects of the country life in the context of the South Bohemian Region. The practical part is mostly focused on Dražíč village and its evaluation and comparison with other chosen villages across the districts. Quantitative and qualitative methods were used for this comparison. To be specific, methods such as interview with the mayor, analysis of the statistical data and web pages evaluation were applied.
Changes of quality of life in rural space (municipality of Katovice case study)

This Master thesis deals with socioeconomic and environmental aspects of life generally in the country, and with the regional context Strakonicka. In the important empiric part, I focus on to the appreciation changes of life in the small town Katovice, mainly in the period of the First Republic and nowadays. I used a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to compare these. Specifically I used techniques of photo documentation, interviews with local witness and vice chief magistrate, analysis of statistical data and finally a small questionnaire too.

This thesis describes the design methodology for User Experience Design and its use in the creation of mobile applications. The theoretical part focuses on defining the field of User Experience Design (UXD) in conjunction with the definition of user experience. It then focuses on the role of UX Designer and his knowledge especially in the field of design of cognitive and memory operations. The main goal of the theoretical part of the thesis is to make up a comprehensive procedure for creating mobile UX applications serving as company's manual or guidance in creating a user-friendly application. The main goal of the practical part is the author's design of methodology UX Design for mobile applications. The methodology is proposed based on the author's experience gained from the project positions as UX designers and graphic designer. A secondary goal of the practical part is the application of created the methodology on a case study of creating mobile applications.
Exchange rate risk and ways of its management

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the exchange rate risk, to suggest and demonstrate the possibilities of the risk management in the case study of AWT Group. The conclusions of the case study are generalized to be utilizable for other companies. Diploma thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical part and case study. Concept of exchange rate risk and ways of its management are explained in the theoretical part. The theoretical knowledge is applied to praxis in case study of AWT.
Mergers and Acquisitions - Case Study

The thesis generally talks about mergers & acquisitions, discussing definitions, differences and reasons behind an M&A. I have analyzed what is a merge and what is an acquisition. Why companies combine themselves through an M&A. What are advantages and disadvantages about an M&A. After that the work is followed by a case study, which focuses on Fiat and Chrysler. With regards to this point, the case touches all the steps of the agreement between the two car automakers providing numbers, percentages and graphs to better explain how the agreement was made. After having spoken about the figures of the deal I have analyzed I went through all the steps of the acquisition showing also tables. I went through all important dates of the acquisition going deeply in the heart of the topic. I also analyzed why Fiat acquired Chrysler and why Chrysler felt down in a bankruptcy. Finally I have studied the today's situation of the two car automakers showing their actual trend on the automotive market.
INTERNATIONALIZATION OF INNOVATION IN SMEs AS A STRATEGIC CHOICE: THE CZECH CASE

With the growing competition both on domestic and on international markets, SMEs face very specific challenges to sustain in their activity. A strategy to gain a competitive edge can be to internationalize innovative activities. In this work the internationalization of innovation is reflected in the context of SMEs. This is done in the first step by making a connection between research on SMEs, on Internationalization and on R&D and subsequently building a theoretical framework. In the second step, the innovative activity of a Swiss firm's Czech subsidiary is investigated on a case-study basis from the perspective of the suggested theoretical framework. The main contribution of this work to research is that it puts in a research field, which is dominated by large enterprises, the focus on SMEs.

Bachelor thesis titled School maturity deals with the development of preschool age. The aim is to evaluate the optimal maturity in pre-school ride. The theoretical part describes preschool age, his motor, cognitive, perceptual, emotional and social development. It defines the concepts of school readiness and its components, school readiness, school immaturity. Describes measures for education immature kids. The practical part contains the results of investigations on a selected sample of children, using tests of school readiness. It contains case studies of children entering primary school and children with postponed school attendance.
Restrukturalizace v malých a středních firmách - případová studie z regionu střední a východní Evropy

The presented master thesis is intended to serve as a guide to the corporate turnarounds for small and medium enterprises. In the first part, the theoretical background related to corporate turnaround is outlined complemented with specific aspects of the CEE region and the Czech Republic. In the next part, a comprehensive turnaround framework based on theoretical research is developed. The final part presents a case study of a small Czech company that went through a turnaround and evaluates the company's turnaround actions from the perspective of suggested theoretical framework.
