Facial features recognition of unknown persons
Bartončík, Michal ; Babinec, Tomáš (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This paper describes the various components and phases of the search and recognition of facial expressions of unknown persons. They are presented here as well as possible solutions and methods of addressing each phase of the project. My master’s thesis is designed to recognize facial expressions of unknown persons. For this thesis, I was lent industrial video camera, computer, and place in a laboratory. Furthermore, we introduce the color spaces and their use. From the lead representatives selects the most appropriate assistance for the use of Matlab and the proposed algorithm. After finding a suitable color space segments skin color in the image. The skin, however, surrounds the entire body and so need to be found, the separated parts of the image representing the color of skin, a face. Once you find a face is needed to find relevant points for the identification subsequent deformation to definition of facial expressions. We define here the actual muscle movements in different expressions.
The penetration features of the hydrofobized hyaluronic acid – based polymeric micelles.
Mischingerová, Monika ; Pekař, Miloslav (referee) ; Muthný, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to investigate the penetration features of the hydrofobized hyaluronic acid – based polymeric micelles using Nile red as carried tracer. Furthermore, to implement basic characterization of polymeric micelles for potential cosmetic applications using Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) as carried substance. It was found that the size of the polymeric micelles with carried CoQ10 did not exceed 100 nm. Applied delivery systems based on hydrophobic hyaluronic acid were suitable for potential topical application. Delivery systems with Nile Red as carried tracer demonstrated excellent penetration features. We assume that delivery systems with CoQ10 will exhibit similar penetration features. An issue has appeared whether the carrier breaks or proceeds along with NR to the skin. Moreover, another experiments have been designed which could also verify the penetration features of these systems.
Active ingredients in sun cosmetics
Jochimová, Eva ; Vránová, Dana (referee) ; Zemanová, Jana (advisor)
Active substances in sun cosmetics mean quantity and properties of UV-filters that absorb rays in UVA or in UVB areas. In the United States of America there are they considered as pharmaceuticals, however in European Union are they taken behind cosmetics. Their usage is very important, because the sun radiation can be very dangerous. Hazard of negative influences increases largely by downgrade of atmosphere and above all by enlargement of ozone hole. UVB and UVA rays penetrate into the skin where they can be a cause of different disorders. They evocate simply as far as heavily curable photodermatosis, skin ageing and cutaneous carcinoma in worse case.
Health benefits of UV-A and UV-B radiation in solarium for humans´organism
MINÁŘOVÁ, Aneta
Thesis deals with ultraviolet radiation on the human body, especially with solarium radiation. Theoretical part deals with history of solariums, effects of individual radiation for human and what are their advantages and disadvantages. It relates with body skin and that is why there are informations about that too. The theoretical part is followed by practical part for which I created a survey by my own. It helps me find out for example what people know about effects of UV radiation for human organism or how often they visit solar studio. I processed the results of the survey directly from solar studio Ergoline´s customers and online survey created on the internet. From total 60 asked people, 58 % which means 35 of them feel mentally improvement after sunbathing and 42 % of them visiting solarium for esthetical reasons.
The Effects of the UV Radiation on the Human Body
MACHOVÁ, Petra
Work maps tailored health students from the harmful effects of UV radiation and traces their knowledge about the effects of UV radiation on the body. The cohort consisted of students and combined form of Health and Social Studies University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice. The aim of this work is to identify students' knowledge of ZSF JU. The effects of UV radiation on the human body and mapping the extent of protection of health of students of the ZSF JU from the harmful effects of UV radiation. The theoretical part describes the general characteristics of UV radiation and its effects on the human body. Work is more geared to actual problems of skin tumors, mainly the issues already mentioned malignant melanoma, which is currently the worldwide especially among the white population serious health problem. In this work he received a lot of attention because among all tumors occupies an important place mainly due to the increase in the number of cases in recent years, due to the very difficult to estimate prognosis and often very rapid pace. The theoretical part deals with the issues of prevention and alone and prevention programs that are reticent part of health care , and that can detect the disease at a stage when it is still treatable. Has a special position then the international program of the World Health Organization WHO Intersun that assesses and quantifies health risks and develop appropriate responses by issuing various directives, recommendations and dissemination of information, while providing practical advice and information to government health and environmental issues in UV radiation. Practical work logic device monitoring students' knowledge about the positive and negative effects of UV radiation on the body, while also monitoring their attitudes toward tanning , protection from sunlight and behavior in case of suspicious skin changes.
