Automatization of work place with electrical discharge machines
Gašpar, Daniel ; Kubík, Roman (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the current state in the workplace EDM and suggestion of the automation workplace in tool making "KASKO forms" including techno-economic assessment of the current and suggested solutions on the selected product and quantification of payback period.
Study of active mass volume changes of lead acid battery electrodes
Nevoral, Miroslav ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Křivík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with detailed study of influence of thurst on attributes of positive and negative electrode masses of lead acid battery electrodes with main accent on explanation of measured characteristics. Three kinds of electrode systems were put together and measured. Measured characteristics of changes of thurst power were recalculated during charging and discharging to changes of total thickness of system.
Resistivity measuring workplace for composite materials
Kucharčík, Jan ; Barath, Peter (referee) ; Vognar, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on exploring the characteristics of carbon allotropes. On constructed workspace resistivity of bulk samples will be measured according to the pressure. In conclusion, results of the measurement and proposals to improve the accuracy of the measuring methods are described.
Properties of electrode materials for alcaline accumulators
Fusek, Petr ; Vrbický, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
The Bachelor´s Thesis is aimed at the problematic of the binders, that effects the features of the positive electrode of alcalic accumulators. The additive used on nickel´s electrode was cobalt. In the practical part of this thesis there is described a process for etching the nickel electrode and the following electrodepositions applied on these electrodes. Measurements of different concentrations of nickel and cobalt were examined and analysed in the graphs which are part of this thesis. There have been made comments of these graphs and the conclusions and observations as well.
Apparatus for electrotherapy
Kopečný, Josef ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
In the beginning of this thesis are described principles of physiatric treatment. The electrotherapy is analysed in more detail. Firstly with respect to the conduction of current into the skin, secondly with respect to using of various kinds of currents, which are normally used for this electrotherapy. Also electrodes and conversion of current between electrode and the skin are mentioned. The last part of this thesis focused on the proposition and realization of simple apparatus for this electrotherapy.
Study of fuel cells
Kamrla, David ; Svoboda, Vít (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis offers a look into the issues of hydrogen fuel cells and is focused on low-temperature alkaline fuel cells (AFC). The primary aim is creation of the manufacturing process of the AFC electrodes, followed by the verification of these procedures by using them in experimental measurement. Further on, another possible options of the usage of various catalyzers and processes of AFC electrodes are presented. These options are evaluated and compared by experimental use of various pairs cathode – anode, with measured characteristics of the make-shift fuel cell being the outcome.
Electrode materials based on lithium titanate oxide for lithium-ions accumulators
Kaválek, Ondřej ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Jirák, Tibor (advisor)
The bachelors thesis deals with researching electrode materials based on Li4Ti5O12 for lithium-ions accumulators. The work is divided into two areas – teoretical and practical part. Teoretical part is aimed at electrochemical power sources with focusing on lithium-ions accumulators. Consenquetial part is concentrated on electrochemical processes and analysis of researching samples Li4Ti5O12. Observed material was measured by galvanostatic method, cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroskopy and electron microscopy. Aim of the work was obtaining characteristics of electrode material and finding out usability of the material in lithium-ions accumulators.
Binders for supercapacitors electrodes
Gottwald, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Petr (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This work deals with the issues of useing binders for supercapacitor electrodes and optimizing the technological process for their production. The work focuses on optimizing the amount of binder used in order to acheive the most capacity. The methodology consists of creating an appropriate experimental electrode and subsequent measuring its associated capacity with AutoLab. This aproach leads to creating grafs which show the dependencies of capacity on the amount of binder used.
Methods of ignition spark gaps
Pekárek, Dominik ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Krbal, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with methods of spark gap ignition. The thesis describes spark gap ignition by external electrode, by Rogowski electrode and by lasers. Advantages and disadvantages of these methods are also discussed. In the final part of the thesis there is described experiment with high voltage spark gap.
The influence of zinc ion on possitive elektrode of Ni-Zn accumulators
Karásek, Stanislav ; Novák, Vítězslav (referee) ; Chladil, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the establishment of zinc ions at the positive electrode of nickel-zinc batteries. The aim of the study was to measure the impedance characteristics of the positive electrode in various states of charge and observing the effect of ZnO on the changes of impedance spectra. The theoretical part is focused on nickel hydroxide as a construction material for positive electrode and its behavior during cycling in the electrolyte. The experimental part describes in detail the manufacture of the electrode system and the preparation of electrolytes with different degrees of saturation with zinc oxide. The cells were cycled and measured using impedance spectroscopy. The measured impedance curves were simulated with equivalent circuits for a better understanding of the ongoing processes.
