Control unit for aeroponic growing system
Vrabec, Miroslav ; Dulík, Tomáš (referee) ; Klozar, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the history of a method of plants cultivation without original substrate. The method is hydroponics and its subsequent development is called aeroponics. This work outlines the design of the whole aeroponic system including a control unit. The control unit has been designed to control the injection of nutrient solution, which is essential to the life of plants.Further, the control unit performs the control of lighting period, temperature, air flow and also regulation of nutrient solution pH. The control unit also keeps records of all data necessary for the monitoring process and for the evaluation of time differencies in the system.
Experimental tags for UHF RFID applications
Pacholík, Vladimír ; Holek, Karel (referee) ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with RFID tags design. It comprises an overview of the RDIF technology while focusing upon the passive tags in UHF band. The CST Microwave studio software has been used for draft simulations. The resulting tags have been subjected to parameter measuring – the reflection coefficient, the minimum capacity needed to switch on the tag, the maximum reading distance. The influence of the proximity of metal objects and other materials has also been examined.
Electronic attendance book
Nezval, Tomáš ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Šandera, Josef (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with analysis of available identification chips and the design electronic attendance book that these chips will use and store the measured information to a file on a memory card. One of the tasks is to compare different kinds of identification cards and chips, and select the most appropriate type for the implementation process. Additionally, the work described the FAT file system, which is used for data storage card.
Design of meander RFID antenna
Horák, David ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with RFID tags. In the first part of the thesis, the general overviews of the present-day RFID systems are presented. This part of the thesis is focused on the passive back-scatter UHF tags and the advantages of their application in supply chain usage. Subsequently, the electromagnetic simulators CST Microwave Studio and IE3D Zeland are described. These simulators were used to design loaded meander antennas. The antennas were designed for different materials and frequency bands of 867 MHz and 2.4 GHz. The designed antennas were made without as well as with the reflector which allows using the antennas in the vicinity of metals. Produced antennas were experimentally tested in the company METRA Blansko Inc, where one of the most significant characteristics of passive RFID tags – the read range was observed.
RFID acces system realization
Buchal, Adam ; Matyáš, Pavel (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the use of RFID technology in access control systems in intelligent buildings. The study also describes the principle functions of RFID readers and the list of frequencies at which the technology works. The next section is dedicated to the design of the access system with iClass R10 operating at a frequency of 13.56 MHz, the whole system is controlled by a microprocessor ATmega8. The board design is described program for creating electronic schematics EAGLE. The try-out functionality and basic programming functions used kit EVB 4.3 The last section describes the procedure for the production of printed circuit boards photo path including drawings and schemes and also describes the program controlling the entire device using the block diagram.
Using of RFID new eguipments
Štěpánek, Samo ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on RFID technology and its potential uses in healthcare. Thesis includes theoretical basis for processing the subject, analysis of the current use of RFID in healthcare in Czech Republic and the world, the requirements for the application of technology and proposal of RFID technology instrument for usage in healthcare.
Wireless technology NFC
Junga, Tomáš ; Fortinová, Jana (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
The paper deals with NFC technology. The thesis is divided in theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part focuses on NFC technology and Bluetooth supported by basic definitions. It also provides NFC's brief history, its advantages as well as disadvantages and utilization of this technology. In the next part, thesis examines safety of such technology with focus on potential attacks. Furthermore paper contains comparison of NFC and Bluetooth technologies. Practical part of the thesis aims at showing real example of how the NFC tag works with NFC device, which is also one of the main objectives of this work. In the latter part, paper deals with future development of this technology with possible real life applications. The main contribution of this work is represented not only by the pure introduction of NFC technology as a way of accelerating data interchange but also by the possibility of wide adoption of this system in society in form of its everyday use.
Ovlivnění plazmatické hladiny cholesterolu modelového organizmu polynenasycenými mastnými kyselinami n-3
Čeganová, Markéta
The aim of this thesis is to assess the influence of the polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially DHA and EPA in the diet on the animal organism in accordance to the levels of total HDL and LDL cholesterol and triglycerides in plasma. As experimental animals were used rats and they were divided into 3 groups of 10 pieces: control group with the addition of 6 % Carthamus tinctorius (n-6 flares), the group with the addition of 6 % fish oil (n-3: EPA, DHA fish) and the group with 6 % addition of oil from Schizochytrium (n-3: DHA, DHA). After 40 days the animals were putted to death according to relevant regulations. Blood lipids were obtained from blood samples by spectrophotometry. Value of polyunsaturated fatty acids of n-3 and n-6 was set by gas chromatography in the liver, muscle and adipose tissue. In accordance to the increase of content n-3 PUFA in group with fish oil and with oil from Schizochytrium, total and LDL cholesterol was reduced in comparison of samples in control group. In comparison to the control group were TAG reduced only in the group with addition of oil.
The Graffiti Subculture. Primitive Street Expression.
SLAMKOVÁ, Petra
The work deals with the graffiti subculture in Czech Republic, concretely in České Budějovice. In the first part it introduces the term and history of graffiti. The main part is devoted to detailed description of the subculture: who is writer and crew which he paints with and how a young man start with graffiti and why. Next it describes relationship between subculture and society and how they interact with each other and how to defined themselves. Based on the Arnold van Genneps teory of rite of passage, the fourth chapter deals the issue of graffiti as a ritual. The following sub-theme is gender in graffiti subculture, because graffiti is not purely a matter of male. The subject of the last part is street art nad grafitti and art. Both isues are on the border of subculture and mainstream and partialy intervene in commerce.
