Hotwater boiler for natural gas,60 MW, 1,6 MPa, 150/70°C

The aim of this thesis is design a hotwater boiler for burning natural gas with an output of 60 MW. Boiler works with temperature difference 150 °C / 70 °C. For a given fuel is calculated stoichiometric calculation. The following is the calculation of the heat balance of the boiler including the determinativ of thermal efficiency. The fuel used, the required parameters of hot water and feed water temperature are designed individual convective surfaces and dimensions of the boiler. The boiler design includes drawings.
Steam boiler with grate firing burning wheat straw

The aim of the thesis is the design of the steam grate boilers of 40 t/h for straw burning. The required parameters are generated steam temperature 420 ° C and a pressure of 5.5 MPa. The specified fuel is cereal straw with a calorific value of 9.5 MJ/kg. The calculation is made from the stoichiometric calculation of elemental analysis, to calculate the individual dimensions and heating surfaces of the boiler.
Steam boiler with grate firing burning mix coal and wood (mixing ratio 30/70-wood)

This diploma work attends to presentation of steam grid boiler for wood and brown coal burning in scale (30/70-wood) in load 60t/h, with parametres of outgoing vapour p=7MPa, t=490°C. The work is splitted to several chapters. At the beginning I’m going to make stechiometric calculation and entalpic calculations of air and compustion gas. After that I’m going to calculate heat balance, losses of boiler and set heat efficiency of boiler. Then I’m going to suggest combustion chamber of boiler and make heat calculation. After suggestion of combustion chamber I’m going to set proportions of pulls and heat-delivery surface. In last chapter I’m giong to check heat balance. Inclosure of my work contains drawing documentation of steam boiler.
Stean boiler for sub bituminous coal, steam parametres 235 t/h, 14 MPa, 540°C

The aim of the work is to design a brown coal combustion boiler of 235 t/h output. The work is divided into several parts. First, stechiometric calculations and calculations enthalpy of air and flue gas are performed. It is calculated heat balance of the boiler, the boiler losses and the thermal efficiency of the boiler is determined. After designing the combustion chamber thermal calculation is made. Then, individual heating surfaces are proposed and at the end of the calculations are controlling the overall energy balance of the boiler. For calculation was design documentation added.
Boiler with steam reheating for burning blast furnace gas

The aim of this Diploma thesis is design of steam boiler with steam reheating, for combustion the blast furnace gas. The fuel composition and primary parameters for calculation of the boiler were provided. In the first part the fuel composition is described. The main part of the thesis consists of stoichiometric calculations, establishing efficiency of the boiler, calculating combustion chamber as well as design and calculation individual heating surfaces. Part of the work is also drawing documentation of boiler.

This master’s thesis deals with the issue of design heat recovery steam generator. In the first part is realized calculation of stoichiometry and further the thermal balance of the boiler. The boiler was divided on the basis of thermal analysis in two heating surfaces that have been designed separately. The goal of this Master’s Thesis is to design a refuse derived fuel (RDF) fired steam boiler with 70 t/h processing ability. The assignment consists of requested output parameters of overheated steam and analysis of fuel components. This analysis was used for stoichiometric calculation of fuel. Furthermore, heat balance of the boiler was calculated, from which was determined the heat loss and the efficiency of the boiler. Individual designs and calculations of heating surfaces and boiler dimensions were carried out from requested output parameters.
