Reinforced concrete structure of an office buildings
Přikryl, Martin ; Šimůnek, Petr (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor project is focused on the design of monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling slab of typical floor of an administrative building. Calculation of internal forces is carried out in a computer software SCIA Engineer with manual verification using the simplifield method. Assessment is done according to Eurocode 2 (ČSN EN 1992-1-1).
Design of Load Bearing Concrete Structure
Tuchyňová, Andrea ; Šimůnek, Petr (referee) ; Štěpánek, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dealing with frame multi-storey garage structure, mainly with its slab. According to the assignment there was made a parametrical study. It contains the comparision of three construction versions: solid slab, slab with void formers Cobiax and prestressed concrete slab. At the chosen variant the 3D mathematical model, which was created in software Scia Engineer, was specified and the construction was designed according to ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. The outlet of this thesis is structural design and drawings with all designed items
Production of the component "Lid"
Vyhnanovský, Jaroslav ; Rumíšek, Pavel (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
This project developed within the Bachelor study of Engineering Technology proposes a technology component “Lid” made of1 mm thick sheet metal ofmaterial11 375(1.0038). The component will be made on a combined roll forming machine. A mount with two pillars will be used for the production, which will be located in an eccentric press LEN 40C by TOMA Industries Ltd. based in Trnava, Slovakia. The nominal press force is 400kN. Trimming punches, broaches, blanking dies and bending punches are made of tool steel, grade194....
Reinforced concrete load-bearing construction
Ilčík, David ; Kraut, Jan (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis is aimed for design and assessment main load bearing elements of a apart-ment building on the ultimate and serviceability limit state. Assessed parts of construction are reinforced concrete slab over the second floor, column and shear wall in the first floor, stairway slab and foundation pad. The elements are assessed in a structural design report according valid standard. There is created drawings. Internal forces are calculated using software Scia Engineer, where is modeled and loaded the construction.
Reinforced concrete structure of a department store
Kovalíková, Mária ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis handles the design and assessment of reinforced concrete slabs store, especially the bending and punching, discusses the design cantilever beam. Input values of internal forces based on the calculation of Scia Engineer 2012 - Student version and are verified by summation of moments.
Reinforced concrete lookout tower
Vaněčka, Jan ; Zich, Miloš (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the static design and assessment of the reinforced concrete structure of the observation tower. The design is further supplemented with visualizations of the architectural design of the structure. Structurally, the observation tower is designed as a locally supported slab by four columns, which are based on footings on the bedrock. The location of the structure is being considered near the ruins of Helfštýn Castle in the Olomouc region.
Static solution of a floating concrete pier
Dorňák, Josef ; Nečas, Radim (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with the design of a floating concrete pier to be used for landing of helicopters of the Medical Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. The basic for the thesis was a study of the structure with plan dimensions, location on the river and a longitudinal section of the structure with elevation marks. The aim of the thesis is to desing a cross-reinforced slab and walls. In total, the structure consists of 8 identical components. To calculate the internal forces, a 3D model supported by an elastic substrate of calculated stiffness was created the Scia Engineer 22.0. Based on the outputs from the program, the flexural reinforcement was designed. Using non-linear calculation, the structure was assessed for serviceability limit state and the results were compared with the manual calculation of crack width. Handling and anchoring handles were also designed. At the end of the thesis, the connecting element was assessed and its reinforcement was proposed. The theoretical part, static calculation and drawing documentation are part of the thesis.
Static solution of the underground floor of an apartment building in Oslavany
Šafránková, Vendula ; Švaříčková, Ivana (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design and static analysis of underground carpark, which is part of an apartment building. This new development will be situated in Oslaveny. For the work was used drawings with a basic floor plan dimension and heights. The work includes a static calculation and drawing documentations. Static calculation is solved by a combination of manual calculation and software´s calculation. SCIA Engineer 22.0 program is used to calculate the internal forces. The design of the shear reinforcement is performed using Schöck Bole program. The static calculation includes design and assessment point-supported slab and columns and caps. The structure is designed according to valid standards ČSN EN.
Static solution of a typical underground floor of a tall building in Prague
Maršálek, Filip ; Šimůnek, Petr (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the static design of the ceiling structure of a high-rise building. The basis for the bachelor was drawing documentation with basic plan dimensions and heights. The aim of the work is to design a locally and point-supported ceiling slab in the form of a section of one floor, specifically the ceiling above the second underground floor. According to the assigned study, a board model was created in the SCIA Engineer program for the analysis of internal forces, on the basis of which the design of the bending reinforcement of the board was carried out for the limit state of bearing capacity. The design of the shear reinforcement is based on the internal forces from the 2D model and was carried out using the Schöck Bole program with manual verification of selected parts. Furthermore, crack widths were manually calculated and verified via SCIA Engineer. The last calculation was a non-linear deflection calculation in SCIA Engineer. The conclusion of the work was the design of a variant with headers and a comparison of both types of boards. The work includes static calculation and drawing documentation.
Risk factors of upper limb injuries and the relationship between general physical characteristics and punch force in martial arts
Sidunov, Matěj ; Pádecký, Jan (advisor) ; Šteffl, Michal (referee)
Title: Risk factors of upper limb injuries and relationship between general physical characteristcs and punch force in martial arts. Objectives: The master thesis has two objectives. First, to find out the possible performance and morphological predictors of upper limb fractures in martial arts participants. Second to find out the performance and morphological predictors and their magnitude of punching force. Methods: In our thesis we used a logistic regression to find out the strength of the predictors of upper limb fracture. On the retrospective history of fractures, the participants were asked, if they have had any upper limb fracture. Furthermore, Pearson's correlation coefficient and linear regression were used for the strength of the predictors of punching forces. Results: We found out, that none of the predictors of upper limb fractures were signiciant. Furthermore, the overall model was not significant as well (p = 0.064, R2 McF = 0.199). Linear regression for the prediction of punching forces was statistically significant (p <0.001, R2 = 0.672). The strongest predictors were handgrip strength and peak concentric fore during a push-up jump (both p <0.05). Keywords: martial arts, mixed martial arts, injury, punching
