The Study of Purchasing Management in Manufacturing Company

The subject of this master´s thesis is the analysis of the current state of purchasing management in Iveco Czech Republic, a.s. and identification of areas in purchasing processes of this company, where the increase of purchasing performance is possible. The aim of this thesis is improving of current state of purchasing management and also efficiency and economy increase. The proposals of improving of current state of purchasing management are focused in electronic purchase negotiation with suppliers and suitable way of reducing number of suppliers.

Purchasing management in construction

The presented work relates with the purchasing management in construction. It consists of two parts. In the first part, we will focus on the theory of purchasing, then discuss the individual steps of the purchasing management and inventory management in the business. Moreover, we will bring insights from the area of suppliers - their selection and evaluation. In second, practical part, we analyze the current state of the purchasing management in selected companies. The output of attached work is a proposal for improvements and recommendations for business purchase following performed analysis.

The master's thesis deals with the purchasing process of network trade within its information system. The thesis focuses in more detail on the individual purchasing activities that take place in the purchasing process. The aim of the analysis of these activities is to find critical points and propose appropriate improvements. The submitted proposals and changes in the information system contribute to streamlining the purchasing process and ultimately to effective management of supplier-customer relationships and customer satisfaction.

This thesis deals with purchasing management in the construction industry and the relationships between suppliers and customers. In the theoretical part are defined basic trade relations, selection and method of evaluation of suppliers, their mode of communication and thoroughly described outsourcing and insourcing. The practical part is a collection of several purchasing activities presenting the advantages of long-term relationships with suppliers customers. Preference is assessed on the basis of time and financial savings.
