Web-Based GPS Data Management System in a Cloud Environment

This thesis focuses on development of web-based GPS data management system in a cloud environment. The thesis introduces the most used application interfaces for building custom mapping applications. It offers a comparison of cloud platforms such as Google App Engine and OpenShift Online. It also deals with the design and the implementation of system for OpenShift Online platform. The system focuses on importing tracks from GPX format, managing tracks, viewing tracks on map tiles from Mapy.cz, searching for tracks, creating an elevation profile and various statistics.
Development of help-desk ticket management system

The main goal of this thesis is to develop a new help-desk ticket management system for the Etnetera Company. The chosen platform is Java. A secondary objective is to test a suitability of using a rule engine system for this type of applications. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical introduction to business rule systems, which is followed by a part evaluating and presenting in a detail three such systems. The chosen system used for the implementation is JBoss Drools. A project environment, description of the current situation and reasons for the development of the new system are listed in the next part. The following chapter deals with the analysis of the requirements and the next-to-last chapter describes the design and implementation of the new system. The last chapter contains documentation. The main benefit of the work is a newly developed system that optimally supports the process of processing a request and other related processes at the Etnetera Company, thereby reducing the amount of unnecessary administrative work. Another benefit is a practical demonstration and deployment of business rule system for developing similar applications.

This bachelor thesis describes the design and development of a web application for goods ordering. The thesis evaluates the existing applications for goods ordering used in company Drogerie Česal, which acts here as a client. From the assessment resulted that the needs of the client does not meet any of the programs they use. The aim of this thesis is to design an application which includes specific requirements of the client. It describes the required functionality of each of the functionality areas, screen design prototypes and development of the application itself. In the end, there is Administrator Guide and User manual included.
Identity Management Solution for Small and Medium Businesses

The topic of this master's thesis is development of identity management solution for small and medium business. The thesis is divided into four major parts. The first part contains theoretical background as description of RBAC model or model with relationships between practically used objects (user identity, role, position, permission, account...). Analysis of functioning and needs of targeted organizations was carried out in the second part. The third part describes the design of the developed application. The fourth part discusses actual implementation of the application. The main outcome of the thesis is implemented application that can be deployed at thesis defined organizations. The application includes all the functionality required in the first phase of the project.
Java EE applications unit testing

The diploma objectives are to describe software quality model defined in ISO/IEC 9126, to describe the basic concepts of quality assurance and software testing, to identify possible errors when writing tests, introduce designs patterns for writing tests. Further describe the architecture of applications built on the Java EE platform, to introduce frameworks for testing various parts of the applications built on the Java EE platform, to illustrate the creation of unit tests using test doubles for these applications, to evaluate the importance of unit tests for quality assurance software.
Java EE application supporting teamwork

Diploma thesis deals with the support of teamwork with the use of information technology. It indicates potential problems in the use of various software tools and its aim is to develop an application that eliminates frequent shortcomings and provides an integrated environment for solving of school projects. The contribution of this work is the use of developed application by students or other smaller teams. Chapters 2 and 3 are devoted to a survey of existing works and the applications and to a theoretical introduction to the field of computer supported teamwork. Chapter 4 focuses on the analysis and software architecture design and chapter 5 describes the used technologies and justifies their selection. The chapter 6 contains the user manual, which includes all the information needed for use of application from the user's perspective as well as from the perspective of the administrator.
