My bachelor thesis deals with the development of Germans living in the region of Karlovy Vary. The following thesis is divided into four main chapters that process the development from the first settlement till the expulsion. The first aim of this bachelor thesis are to describe the particular periods the Germans spent on the territory which now belongs to the Czech Republic. The other aim is to specify particular relations during this period. The first really important populating took place in the 12th and 13th century. Since then the Germans kept settling in the region of Karlovy Vary. Till the beginning of the 19th century Czechs and Germans lived peacefully as neighbors. Approximately in the middle of the 19th century the question of nationality and establishing a new state started showing up. In the 1920s the Sudeten Germans and the Czech Republic totally mentally split up. In 1939 the Second World War started and the consequences of its end led to the expulsion of the Sudeten Germans from the Czech Republic. ČADOVÁ, Aneta
Bachelor thesis called "Changes in inhabitants and property conditions on the Czech-German border area during the years 1945 - 1953 - confiscations, rations and leaving assignment using the example of cadastral community Cudrovice." In my work I engaged in documentation on the base of accessible archives from breaking moment in post-war evolution of Cudrovice-municipality and Plešivec-settlement, which led gradually to their very last end. This is the question to express living conditions of original German after the ending of the Second World War, their denotation as "publicly unreliable individuals" and the confiscation of their possessions itself. The only exception was Šrajer's family, which had lived there both before the war and after it, therefore it was the only link among local oldsettled people and new settlement. Just new settlement brought to life these places at least for a while. Their destiny connected with these places is fundamental part of my work. The new settlement was examined both by political background and unfavourable economic conditions of Šumava foothills. One and the other caused their leaving and consequently end of Cudrovice and Plešivec. The work is completed by also important part of common historical events and prescriptive sources, related to subject of my work and particulars contemporary cadastral maps, photographs charged to provide factual form to amorphous places, events and names. Modern photographs support reality of extinction of Cudrovice and partial extinction of Plešivec.

The thesis itself was carried out by the method of questioning, the form of non-standardized interview in terms of qualitative research. The interview was carried out in the sample of police members, placed in basic police stations, where they solve the issue of domestic violence. The interview was also carried out with officials of various command types in the sphere of Regional Police Headquarters of South Bohemian Region. Other respondents were the workers of intervention centres, employees of social and law protection of children institutions and the workers of non-profit organizations functioning in South Bohemian Region and the analysis of study case. By the change of legal regulations the process concerning expulsion of violent person was changed (from the procedure in administrative action to authorisation of a police officer according to the law on PCR).
