Dual-band antenna for in-car communication
Vörös, Ondrej ; Mikulášek, Tomáš (referee) ; Cupal, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of dual-band planar antenna on a textile substrate. The proposed antenna is tuned to the ISM band 2,4 and 5,8 GHz for application in WLAN-in-car communication. The most common types of planar microstrip antennas, their parameters, feeding methods and methods of analysis are introduced in the first part of this work. In the practical section, the design of the dual-band antenna is presented with the use of the program CST Microwave Studio. The design of two concepts of dual- band antenna made on the FR4 substrate is transformed on the 3D textile and optimised to work at desired frequency bands. After then, the thesis describes fabrication and measurement of designed dual-band antennas in the anechoic chamber and in a car.
Coexistence of wireless communication systems and LTE in the ISM band
Mikláš, Michal ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Polák, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a definition, description and measurement of coexistence scenarios which can occur between LTE and WLAN (technology IEEE 802.11xx) wireless communication systems in the ISM band. Based on the common radio frequency (RF) bands, used by these systems, different coexistence scenarios are defined. Appropriate measurement testbed and method are proposed to measure coexistence between LTE and WLAN systems. Functionality of the proposed measurement testbed has been proved and extensive measurement of previously defined coexistence scenarios has been done. The obtained results are evaluated in details.
Automation of MitM Attack on WiFi Networks
Vondráček, Martin ; Lichtner, Ondrej (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
Wireless Network
Šumaj, Boris ; Janováč, Dušan (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The content of this thesis is to illuminate the basic issues of wireless networks. It gives an overview of IEEE 802.11 standards. I´ll analyze these standards with special emphasis on their security and architecture. The next step will be the subsequent creation of a secure corporate network according to the established facts of a particular company.
Wireless Network Aspects
Klein, Lukáš ; Neugebauer, Petr (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of wireless networks. It explains basic terms and classification of wireless networks. It also describes the international standard IEEE 802.11 and its extensions. Closed attention is given to the security of wireless networks including safety recommendations for each group of networks.
Wireless Networks in Corporate Environment
Svitana, Tomáš ; Hrušková, Sylvia (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
Purpose of my bachelor’s thesis is wireless networks. The general introduction focused on basic terminology, most used protocols, standards, and topology and also network security is followed by specific draft and implementation of wireless technology into corporate environment. Company provides free accessible hotel Wi-Fi network on main departments and also for internal use requires high level secured wireless transfer of data.
Wireless Fidelity Networks
Gurka, David ; Boráň, Tomáš (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
In the bachelor’s thesis I solve the problems of wireless networks. This theme includes all information about the main terms in wireless networks, amplification of questions about network security and proposal of solution with complications in creation of this network. I will take a look on usage of wireless technology in a company network, to see possible risk origins. I will try to propose and choose optimal usage policy of wireless network.
Wireless Fidelity Networks

Attacks on Standard 802.11
Burian, Vojtěch ; Horváth, Tomáš (referee) ; Novotný, Bohumil (advisor)
Thesis is concerned about standard 802.11 especially wireless network security in historical and in current way. First part is focused on WEP secured wireless network problematics. Consequently, in different point of view we are focused on network security which was developed recently, for example WPA and WPA2 security. It will be marked the basic functioning and brief overview of standard 802.11, introduction to the known attacks on wireless network security and also indicate the main mistakes. Many older devices have only WEP security. Therefore, in this thesis is designed better and more coherent system of security of the WEP protocol. As well modern methods of security WPA and WPA2 are included. Second part is focused on the simulation of attack on security networks. In this part the problematic with beaking security WEP, WPA and WPA2 is discussed.
