Similarities and differences? Key moments in the history of the 20th century in the Czech and Austrian history textbooks.

The thesis is focused on the comparison between the Czech and Austrian history textbooks for the second level of the grammar schools. The work is focused on the interpretation of key events connecting the two countries during the 20th century.It summarizes the latest knowledge of the history textbooks used as the basic educational media and compares the methods and contents of teaching history.The work gives an overview of the Austrian and Czech history textbooks for the second level of the grammar schools and shows the divergences and convergences on selected historical events. It also studies if the textbooks fulfil the didactic, illustrations and other supplementary requirements. The work also implemented an empirical survey of selected grammar schools in the South Bohemian region and Lower Austria. The findings obtained from this survey show not only the knowledge of the students at these schools, but also their opinions,prejudices and stereotypes. The research also highlights opinions of the teachers on the current situation of the school system in both countries.
Study of temperature and wetness climate of the sedge-grass littoral during the vegetation season

Work is focused on studying thermaly-hygric clime sedge overgrowth concerning to his produce parametres and cubic heterogeneity. In construed baccalaureate work i focused on relation of production above-ground biomass slim sedge (Carex acuta L.), with dampness and thermal clime. Slim sedge (Carex acuta L.) is dominant plant in flood part of damp grass fields. Work lie in destructive following overhead biomass along vegetative season. Highest performance live above-ground biomass was analysed in July 1820 g × m-2, but as compared to next takings to be almost constant, in August was analysed 1670 g ×m-2 and in September be signed growth of live above-ground biomass on 1789 g ×m-2. Dry matter overhead biomass decrease with toward the end of vegetative season. In July value of weight dry matter come to 801 g, in August 676,6g and in September were to be signed lowest value 530 g. Weight measured in September was considerably effected downstream that the persisted from second half of August. With those values relate and diminishing value of LAI that the reached values in July 2,44 m2/m2, in August 1,24 m2/m2 and in September 0,59 m2/m2. Work primary lie it measuring thermal and hygric values. Temperature and dampness differ in growth and above growth. Temperature in growth reached lower values than above growth with whereby bears measured higher values dampness in growth. An experimental study of initial succession on different substrata: analysis of changes in plant species cover and some soil biological parameters and their relationships

A four year experimental study of initial stages of succession on different substrata (sand, peat and gray clay overburden from brown coal mining) was carried out. The substrata were transplanted into two different landscape types in the Czech Republic. Control plots were filled with autochthonous topsoil treated with high temperature vapor. Plots with un-treated autochthonous topsoil were also established. Plant species cover and several soil-biological parameters (soil microbial biomass, basal soil respiration, exchangeable pH(KCl), organic-C extractable by potassium sulfate solution, and nitrate-N content) were measured once a year. Obtained data were mainly processed by unimodal (plant cover data) and liner (soil-biological data) ordination methods. Biological species traits (life span, seed dispersal vector, seed bank type, ecological strategy type following Grime, life form following Raunkiaer) were used to characterize early stages of plant succession. Vegetation and measured soil-biological parameters, except pH(KCl), were significantly changing during four growing seasons. Variance partitioning analysis based on plant species cover data indicated the landscape type to be the main governing factor and physico-chemical characteristics of substrate to be less important during the studied initial stages of succession. The same analysis based on soil-biological parameters showed the reverse result. Great variability of plant species ecological traits was noticed during four growing seasons. The earliest plant colonizers were mainly ruderal, anemochorous terophytes with persistent seed bank. The number of species with C-strategy type increased during the study. The relationship between the average plant species cover and measured soil-biological parameters was also examined during the experimental study of early succession. Direct and indirect ordination revealed the average sum of plant species cover to be weakly positively correlated with soil microbial biomass, basal soil respiration, nitrate-N, potassium sulfate extractable organic-C, metabolic quocient (qCO2) and negatively correlated to exchangeable pH(KCl). The relationship was significant only in the case of microbial biomass and potassium sulfate extractable organic-C. More detailed studies of the relationship between aboveground plant species biomass and soil microbial communities in initial stages of succession are required. Comparability of presented study is limited because not many experimental investigations of similar kind have been presented until now.
Creep behaviour of Al-3Mg-0,2Sc alloy processed by ECAP method

Ternary aluminium alloy Al-3Mg-0.2Sc was subjected to equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP) at room temperature to refine its original coarse grain size. For this purpose the ECAP die was used which had a 90° angle between the die channels. By application of this method an ultrafine-grained microstructure was achieved with the grain size ~ 0.3mm after 8 ECAP passes by route BC. Subsequent compression constant stress creep tests were conducted at 473 K and in the applied stress range of 16–40 MPa. It was found, that resulting microstructure of this alloy leads to a decrease of minimum creep rate by an order of magnitude in comparison with creep behaviour of an ultrafine – grained ECAP pure aluminium. Further, the creep behaviour of Al-3Mg-0.2Sc alloy at lower stresses indicates a possible occurrence of the threshold stress for creep.

Tématem této diplomové práce je strukturální politika Evropské unie, konkrétně naplňování cílů strukturálních fondů v rámci strukturální politiky. Strukturální politika a strukturální fondy jsou zkoumány z několika hledisek: teoretického, historického, legislativního a ekonomického/finančního, kterým se postupně věnují jednotlivé kapitoly této práce. Význam regionální a strukturální politiky, resp. politiky hospodářské a sociální soudržnosti, jak bývá oficiálníě nazývána, v Evropské unii neustále roste. To je dáno zejména rozšiřováním Unie a prohlubováním rozdílů mezi jednotlivými regiony a také zvyšujícím se tlakem na přerozdělování či kompenzaci dopadů projektů vnitřního trhu a hospodářské a měnové Unie. Neustále se vyvíjející pořadavky na regionální a strukturální politiku se rovněž odrážejí ve formulaci jejích cílů a cílů strukturálních fondů, které je hlavním tématem této práce.
