Assessment of the possibility to indude volunteer firebrigade unit of the Zalužany community in category II fire protection units.
HASSMANN, Jan
The diploma thesis deals with a possibility to classify SDH unit of Zalužany village into the JPO II category. The whole thesis can be divided into several parts. The first part is a theoretical one, which introduces the terms linked to this issue. In this part, I have described the Emergency service in the Czech Republic, its basic and side bodies as well as its functioning in other countries, especially in Slovakia. The thesis aims to focus on Fire department of the Czech Republic, its organisation and functioning in case of emergency. A very important part of the chapter aims to analyse the Volunteer Fire department unit of the village as the Civil Emergency preparedness unit. I have explained their organization and functioning and classified them into Fire department. In a separate sub-chapter, I have analysed all possibilities to finance the local units of Volunteer Fire department. I have focused especially on the amendment of insurance industry which secures financing of the fire-fighters intervening in traffic accidents. Referring to a statistical almanac, I have presented the outline of the JPO unit employment and focused on Central Bohemia, Příbram and Zalužany village. I have also presented the village Zalužany, its historical development and the most valuable historical part- the castle of Zalužany. I have mentioned all important data concerning the village. In the same part, I am going to carry out a geographical analysis of the village and its surrounding and analyse al well its infrastructure. I have also made a list of the most important pieces of information from the local Fire rules. While working on the thesis which is based on collecting and sorting data, I have mainly used a factographic-analytical method. It was also crucial to discuss the issue with professionals, especially with teachers of South-Bohemian University who have given me a lot of advice and interesting comments. I have collected the data in a qualitative way, got through individual valid laws, regulations, decrees, literary sources and information on web pages, mainly those of Fire department, the Ministry of the Interior and village Zalužany. The second part of the thesis is the most important one. In fact, there are all results I have found out. In a separate chapter, I have presented the methods of the research. It was aimed to find out a complete state of JSDH of the village with a possibility to classify the department into the Fire department category. For this part of the thesis, it was necessary to interview the members of JSDH department and discuss on the issue with the workers, the mayor of the village of Zalužany, the regional Fire department in Příbram and with teachers of the South-Bohemian University in České Budějovice who were glad to give me useful advice and comments. In a separate chapter of the thesis, I have aimed to analyse the JSDH of the village. I have analysed and evaluated the membership, the technical equipment and other devices. I have estimated whether the department disposes of a sufficient number of members, whether the members are qualified enough in order to get classified the unit into JPO II category. To get a complete information about the state of JSDH of the village Zalužany, I have elaborated a SWOT analysis. The analysis focuses on positive and negative aspects of the internal setting of the unit as well as possible danger and circumstances which reveal external settings of the unit. The analysis some defects and ends up by coming up with some proposed measures which can lead to the improvement. In other parts of the chapter, I have counted a real distance of the spot arrival in the first grade of the intervention for the JSDH unit of the village Zalužany and the distance which would meet the criteria to get into the JPO II category.

Measurement of photons via electronic dosimeters for the acceleration of charged particles at the Institute of Physics ASCR in Prague.
ŽIDKOVÁ, Jana
The thesis is focused on summarizing the current issue of work with experimental lasers in the research center of Prague Asterix Laser System (PALS), which falls under the Institute of Physics and Institute of Plasma Physics. Experimental lasers used for experimental research in the field of powerful laser physics and laser-produced plasma. The main experimental facility PALS is a powerful pulsed laser system Asterix IV., The research center was purchased from the German Max Planck Institute for quadratic Optics in Garching near Munich for a symbolic 1 mark. Asterix is one of the three largest iodine lasers in Europe. Between the research programs being carried out on the experimental development of lasers include applications of plasma point sources of soft non-coherent radiation, development and application of laser plasma X-ray etc. Other facilities located in the research center include PALS laser system Ti - Sapphire power of 25 terawatts. In this system, a similar experiment was performed measuring photon film dosimeters. The experimental laser Asterix IV in the research center PALS have been no experiment with film or electronic dosimeters. This work deals with the possibility of using electronic personal dosimeters when working with lasers and detection sensitivity of the dosimeters, unlike other types of personal dosimeters. This was achieved by measuring the two independent measurements ongoing at the Asterix IV laser system. Possibilities of using electronic personal dosimeters for measuring the pulse field, even though they are designed to measure benefits only in the continuous field is particularly important for workers newly built ELI center in Prague. Center ELI will be the most modern laser equipment in the world. In it will be carried out the research and application projects involving the interaction of light with matter in intensity, which is about 10 times larger than the currently achievable. ELI will deliver ultrashort laser pulses lasting typically a few femtoseconds (10-15 fs) and produce power up to 10 PW. The ELI Center will be unlike PALS controlled area in which it is important to monitor external radiation workers. Therefore, the thesis is aimed at providing support for PALS measurement using electronic personal dosimeters Center ELI. We also compare the sensitivity of the most common types of personal dosimeters such as film and thermoluminescent dosimeters. In the theoretical part of the description and principle of laser Asterix IV. Furthermore, the definition of ionizing radiation and its species with a particular focus on gamma and X-rays. In this thesis remains missing definitions such as dosimetry, types of dosimeters, monitoring, radiation protection and value to it. In the methodology are then analyzed measurements that were carried out in two experiments using electronic personal dosimeters, film dosimeters and thermoluminescent dosimeters. Furthermore, also the deployment of the laser system, focusing mainly on the description of the interaction of the hall and the interaction chamber, where were measured. The methodology is also a series of photos of photos taken at the workplace PALS for easier orientation. In the results, the values of individual measurements recorded for better clarity in the tables and charts described. The discussion is focused on the confirmation of hypotheses. Are compared to results from electronic and film dosimeters and electronic dosimeters and termoluminescent. Results are based on one shot and statistically processed. In the event of a general summary of the work, it is recommended the use of electronic personal dosimeters to work with experimental lasers and supported the intention of the use of electronic personal dosimeters in the newly built Center ELI in Prague, mainly because of higher sensitivity than that with film and TLD and also for easier, faster, and economical evaluation of the benefits.

Costs of providing nursing and rehabilitation care in institutions of social services.
SKRUŽNÁ, Andrea
The dissertation themed "Costs of providing nursing and rehabilitation care in institutions of social services." maps out current issues in provision of health care in the residential facilities of social services. The dissertation focused on analysis of expenses for provision of nursing and rehabilitation care in residential facilities of social services. The theory part is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter, I deal with the social services in the European Union and in the Czech Republic. Further, I describe the system of long-term care. The second chapter focuses on residential facilities of the social services, their division by types and specification of their basic activities. In the third chapter, I describe funding of the residential facilities of the social services, where I focus on description of each funding source. The fourth chapter is focused on health care in the residential facilities of the social services. I describe author's expertise of general nurse in the social services, the list of tasks of health care for the expertise, conditions for indication of health care, the ways for payments of health care by health insurance companies, and audits of the reported health care conducted by the health insurance companies. The last chapter deals with the issues related to per os administration of drugs in the residential facilities of the social services. The practical part of the dissertation consists of my own quantitative research. Described is methodology for data collection; in addition, the research set is characterized, and the research implementation description is given. Results of obtained data were processed in two chapters where structure of users of facilities as well as health care provided to the user was described in a statistical way using tables and graphs. Thereafter, discussion on results obtained was made. The research survey was performed in Senior House in Roudnice nad Labem (hereinafter referred to as "the facility") in November 2013, where data was collected for period from 18 to 24 November 2013. The facility provides social service of senior house and social service of a house with a special regime to its users. At the moment of the research, there were 129 users, of which 95 received health care from health care employees of the facility. Two hypotheses were defined for the dissertation. The hypothesis No. 1 is: The number of health care professionals in the residential facilities of the social services corresponds to time demands for health care indicated by a general practitioner. The hypothesis No. 2: Administration of medical therapy per os as indicated by a general practitioner is the most frequent health care service provided to the users of the residential facilities of the social services. The research confirmed both hypotheses. I can see importance of results of the dissertation particularly in that they outlined how the medical care in the residential facilities of the social services is currently provided. The processed results of the provided health care could then serve as one of the grounds in making a draft for transition of funding of the health care in the residential facilities of the social services from performance-based to flat-based model. The dissertation could also be used as the grounds for training of health care professionals of the residential facilities of the social services in the field of indication, provision, and reporting of health care provided to users of the residential facilities of the social services.
