Upgrading of Trutnov hl.n. Railway Station
Král, Vladimír ; Wrana, Radim (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is a design of the reconstruction railway station Trutnov main station for compliance with current operations and especially with regard to persons with reduced mobility. So it was necessary to design the platform edge with a height of 550 mm above rail level. The design also deals with the drainage of reconstructed tracks and sidings connection.
Upgrading of Lipová Lázně Railway Station
Kopecká, Denisa ; Mazel, Lukáš (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with reconstruction design of Lipová Lazně railway station. The main goal is to design new platforms suitable for passengers with reduced mobility and orientation and valid standart. Another goal is to increase line speed. Part of the thesis includes modifications of railway superstructure, substructure and drainage system of the station.
Evaluation of the Trial Section for Under Sleeper Pads
Murínová, Klára ; Langer, Vojtěch (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
Under sleeper pads (USP) are elastic pads on underneath surface of the sleeper. Their main advantage is reducing of stress in track bed, slowing down a deterioration of track quality, life extension of railway track and reducing life cycle cost. There are three trial track sections in the Czech Republic in which are USP used. The influence of the USP is continuously monitored. The bachelor thesis is focused on the Ústí nad Orlicí trial track section. This thesis describes measurements of the track level by the precise levelling method and measurements of the stress in track bed carried out in the 2016 and 2017 and their evaluation and comparison with previous measurements in the 2015.
Bělotín Junction and Passing Point Study
Piruš, Erik ; Janoušek, Jan (referee) ; Dušek, Erik (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is focused on design of the separated level connection of the High speed line Prerov - Ostrava to the conventional line Prerov - Ostrava near Hranice na Morave station (connected from the Ostrava side). The thesis should include the track geometry design of the conventional line and design of the Belotin Junction, consisting of two overtaking tracks, each one for one of the directions.
Upgrading of the Bystřice pod Hostýnem railway station
Švanda, Tomáš ; Hoza, Miroslav (referee) ; Hruzíková, Miroslava (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is a reconstruct the railway station Bystřice pod Hostýnem, so it would suit current and future traffic. The main purpose of the reconstruction is a design of platforms that meet requirements for persons with reduced mobility under applicable legislation.
Upgrading of Vsetín Railway Station
Maixner, Pavel ; Pokorný, Ondřej (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is design of the Vsetín railway station reconstruction according to the current operation and the requirements for persons with reduced mobility. The two new double face island platforms with the height of 550 mm above the top of rail is designed. Further, the speed in passing running lines and also the curves in front of Polanka throat of the station is increased.
Design of Reconstruction of the Krahulov Railway Station
Tumpach, Jan ; Wrana, Radim (referee) ; Hruzíková, Miroslava (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is the reconstruction of the railway station Krahulov in aim to fulfil the requirements for people with limited mobility. In connection with the change of the platform was resolved adjustment rails and drainage while maintaining a connection to an adjacent sidings.
Trains´ Speed in Switches and Crossings
Horák, Matouš ; Jacura,, Martin (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
Master‘s thesis follows up velocity of trains in railway stations. There are described parameters, which influence the velocity, effect of railway signalling and traction skills of trains as well. In a practical part there is described direct measuring including reasons for a locality choice. Follows a simulation in OpenTrack programme. Conclusion compares both methods.
Switch and Crossing Design for High Speed Lines
Raif, Lukáš ; Šestáková,, Janka (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
Different requirements for track structures, switches and crossings have recently gained prominence, in part, due to preparations of high-speed lines across the Czech Republic. High-speed turnouts must fulfil many criteria, because the speeds on main line turnouts normally reach between 250 and 350 km/h. The main requirement, which most structural modifications and turnout improvements deal with, is to reduce dynamic load. The PhD thesis aims to research in particular possibilities for reducing dynamic load caused by passing vehicles; primarily by track stiffness optimization by fastening system modifications. The work is based on the observation of a test section in Ústí nad Orlicí railway station, where switches and crossings with modified fastening systems were installed. The evaluation is then used as a basis for designing of a rail fastening system to optimize the track stiffness in high-speed switches and crossings to reduce the dynamic effects.
