Study of tram track lengthen to the town district Brno-Lesná

This master’s degree thesis is aiming to provide design solution within extension of tram line no.5 in the town of Brno,which nowadays ends by balloon loop at Štefánikova čtvrť stop at Merhautova street in Černá Pole district. Proposed tram line is designed in the limits of local urban roads and ends by newly designed balloon loop at Okružní street in Lesná district. Within the framework of this thesis new tram super structure is designed together with surrounding urban rous and connection to Halasova náměstí.
Comparison of Plain Line Tamping Methods

The diploma´s thesis deals with evaluation of adjusted track tamping technology and its comparison with currently used technology. This is based on track geometry parameters measuring and its vertical movement on the test section, which was created on double track Břeclav – Přerov near Rohatec station. On this test section one line was tamped with the currently used method within regular maintenance work and the second line was tamped with the adjusted technology. The technology modification is based on application of increased number of tamping tines squeezing strokes, which results in a creation of bigger and more compacted sleeper bed. The point of this thesis is to verify, that the speed of the track geometry parameters degradation is smaller in case of adjusted technology use. Thanks to that it would be possible to extend the maintenance cycles in case of compliance with track parameters maintenance limits and traffic safety.
Upgrading of Nedvědice Railway Station

The aim of the thesis is a reconstruction of Nedvědice railway station. The thesis contains modification of track geometry parameters of the railway, reconstruction of the railway superstructure and railway substructure. Platform with the platform edge height of 550 millimetres above the top of rail was designed. Design of a railway crossings according to valid regulations is other part of thesis. The thesis also include drainage system renovation.

The design should be considered primarily on existing objects as culverts, railway crossing, railway stops, and bridges. The objective of bachelor thesis is desing of the track geometry parameters and reconstruction permanent way of single-line railway track in the section of km 52,8 – 55,95. Section start behind the railway stop Bludov – lázně and ends at km 55,95 connecting to the turnout number O4 in the loading point Olšany. The thesis deals with design of a railway crossings and platform of railway stop in the village Bohutín. The thesis also include design drainage of track and technology procedure of orks. Next aim is design of increase speed. All of adjustments are according to valid regulations.
Reconstruction of the Kunčice nad Labem - Hostinné line section on the Chlumec nad Cidlinou - Trutnov railway track

Aim was to design modifications of track geometry parameters of and the reconstruction of the railway superstructure of monorail nationwide railway line Chlumec nad Cidlinou - Trutnov in the section from 99.4 km to 102.7 km. Solved section is located between the railway station Kunčice nad Labem and the railway station Hostinné. Within the framework of this thesis recovery solutions of drainage, preparation of bills of quantities and technology design work were solved.
