An innovation of the CNC production of the disc-shaped parts

The optimal choice of cutting conditions, as well cutting tool, has a significant effect on the quality of machined part and is an essential parameter to reduce the cost of production. This thesis describes CNC turning process of disc springs made of 51CrV4 material, especially using new cutting tools and the use of higher cutting speeds. A comparison of four manufacturers of cutting tools in terms of surface quality, tool path and the machined material volume will be introduced. It was experimentally verified that our proposed facility has achieved the best result.

Sinumerik 840D tools for programming of CNC machines

Master’s thesis presents the history and the present-day state of CNC machines and their control systems. This thesis describes both the basics and the advanced methods of programming which can provide the ability to create NC program for Sinumerik 840D to operate. The second part of the thesis deals with the development of the technology to machine the part (the frame of the reduction gear) and corresponding NC program. This program is created by means of the work-step programming (ShopMill). The final verification of the program was provided by means of simulation component of the control system.

Sinumerik tools for programming of CNC machines

The master’s thesis incorporates the control system Sinumerik 840D to the most widely used control systems of CNC machine tools. In the first thesis part are analyzed the NC programming methodics, which are relative only to the control system Sinumerik 840D and an essentials necessary to understand the issue in the area of CNC machine tools. Next part of the thesis includes design of the technology and processing of the NC program for machined component (gearbox cover). The NC program is made by ShopMill that is focused on a workshop area. During the program creation is combined a ShopMill and parametric programming, with using of a conditional jump instructions and repetitions. The final part of the thesis includes verification of the selected component production process by simulation and technical-economic evaluation of the designed technology.

Design CNC Technology Components Shaft

This thesis deals with the technological process of producing welded shaft in company STT Servis, s.r.o. The work is addressed the technological possibilities and production solutions, way to ensure the rotation of the shaft when turning and turning shaped recesses. The main point solution is to use technology for the final machining of the shaft, here are three times compared to machine technology, original, new and proposed. In conclusion the technologies are compared and evaluated.

Machining of components on CNC machines

The bachelor thesis deals with the manufactory of the rotor for the electric motor on the CNC lathe. The first part describes the function and design of manufactured constituent part. The next chapter designes and describes production process of machining the shaft and next steps of manufactory are described. They basic production capacity calculations are made. In the next part the NC program is designed, which is used to manufacture the shaft as a model product.
