The chosen validation parameters of method for assessment of aroma compounds in elderberries
Christovová, Silvia ; Ürgeová, Eva (referee) ; Vítová, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of aroma active compounds in elderberries (Sambucus nigra L.). In the theoretical part the chemical composition and attributes of elderberries are described. Brief information on their healing properties is also given. The possible processing methods in food industry, as well as the traditional means of use at home, are discussed furthermore. Following chapters describe the gas chromatography method combined with the technique of solid-phase microextraction, utilized for the specification of aroma active compounds. The validation of this method is also included. The aim of the experimental part of the work was to verify a set of the selected validation parameters of the SPME-GC method, specifically linearity, the limits of detection (LOD), the limits of quantification (LOQ) and repeatability. Subsequently, the SPME-GC method was applied on the chosen elderberry juice samples. In total, 37 different volatile aroma active compounds were identified and quantified, 15 of which belonged to alcohols, 9 to aldehydes, 5 to ketones, 5 to esters and 2 other compounds. The chemical composition of individual samples was not uniform; no single sample contained all of the identified compounds.

Possibilities for Financing of Individual Activities in the Construction Company
Solnický, Marek ; Krška, Jiří (referee) ; Hroníková, Marta (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor’s thesis "Possibilities for Financing of Individual Activities in the Construction Company" is a description and assessment of financial management in a medium sized construction company. The first part deals with the theoretical structure of corporate finance, financial analysis and the definition of financial planning. The second part applies the theoretical knowledge into practice. First, the financial analysis of the construction company is performed, which is then evaluated using appropriately chosen parameters. Based on the evaluation of the analysis, a financing plan is proposed for the upcoming fiscal period.

Econometric analysis of the prices of mobile phones
Nešpor, Radim ; Formánek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Polonyankina, Tatiana (referee)
The work deals with the econometric analysis of the prices of mobile phones based on the selected parameters. The aim of this thesis is to determine, which of the selected parameters affect the price of a new mobile phone and how they affects the price. The theoretical part deals at first with the regression model and determining statistically significant variables and significance of the model as a whole. Then I introduce different procedures for finding and selecting the best estimate for the model. In this thesis I will focus on three procedures for the selection of explanatory variables: best subset selection, forward stepwise selection and backward stepwise selection. Finally I mention the detection of multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity testing. In the second part, I apply different procedures for the selection of explanatory variables and afterwards, based on the criteria defined in the first part, I will select the best model. Finally, I compare these models and choose the best one.

Selected welfare parameters of milk cows in relation to milking by a robot.
PRŮŠA, Jan
The aim of this work was to gather and evaluate the evidence about the behaviour of dairy cows during the milking by a robot (including physiological reactions running after the milking). The following parameters were observed: number of milking per 24 hours, the time from onset to the robot and the teat cup deployment, the time between milking, the total time of milking, milk yield with each milking, average and total milk yield per day. The results were measured separately in heifers and in cows on the second and subsequent lactations. In the same time, there was also observed the behaviour of cows after leaving the milking robot - feed and water intake, physical activity and the rest for the time of 30 minutes after the milking. Simultaneously, there was also observed the effect of milking technology for the health of the cows, focused on diseases of the mammary gland. There were three ethologic observations which always lasted 24 hours. In addition to the observed data, there were evaluated the data records obtained from the milking machine (e. g. milk yield per one milking, the interval between single milkings, etc.). There were observed an average of 60 pieces of cows. Throughout the watching the cows in the barn behaved calmly and contentedly. They came to the milking machine spontaneously, only a few cases had to be herded for milking by the caregiver. However, they were all the heifers which did not have the sufficient experience with the milking. The counting of teat cup deployment attempts had to be abandoned because of the close proximity of the observer at the milking robot. In this case, the cows were not quiet and did not want to go in the robot spontaneously. The mammary gland disease was diagnosed at an average of 6.9 pieces of milked cows per one month. This high number of cases is ascribed to a poor hygiene of the stables and a poorer quality of feeding. This work was created in cooperation with the grants NAZV QJ1210144 and NAZV QJ1530058.

Using Game Mechanics Outside Games
Berlinger, Michal ; KOPECKÝ, Lubor (advisor) ; VLACH, Jiří (referee)
The work is divided into two parts. The first is devoted to theoretical introduction to the use of game mechanics or gamification. The second part describes the design, implementation and evaluation of my practical application of game elements in ARGO association. The results indicate some positive changes in people behavior, but not all parameters were shown utilizable due to the size of the data sample.
