Roof Structure of Swimming Pool in Budišov nad Budišovkou

My Bachelor thesis deals with the design and review of a bearing steel structure of the roof of indoor pool building. The construction is of rectangular shape with dimensions of 28 x 46 m and its height is 7.5 m. Bearing structure consists of 11 transversal bindings, placed 4.6m per width of between each. Transversal binding consists of cantilevered columns and jointly set saddle trusses. All the calculations are done according to relevant ČSN EN directives.

Technologické aspekty používání podrostových rostlin v soudobých zahradách a parcích

The work deals with perennials for scrubs in woody vegetation elements used in garden architectural disign. The review of literature covers the historical development of garden art and characteristics habitats. It also includes phytosociological analyses of forest communities, their ecological impact and phytosociological system of forest communities. To also the issues of design, creation and recommended maintenance of the herbalhabitat are included in the work. The practical part deals with the evaluation of selected planting, evaluation of the available range of four major nurseries of scrub perennials on the Czech market. Another part includes the restoration of shade tolerant bed next so-called "šopa" on the premises of the Faculty of Horticulture MENDELU in Lednice.
