Causes, going and impact of american mortgage and global financial crisis

The goal of my bachelor thesis was to analyze causes and impacts of financil crisis of 21st century. The thesis was divided in two parts. The first one is discussing about the theory of the financial market, its functions, structure and regulation. In the second part I was trying to clear up the problem about causes of financial crisis. I my opinion the main cause of financial crisis is the mortgage crisis in american market. After that I was discribing the going of this crisis and in the end I was trying to discuss about impacts of crisis on american market, Evrope market and Czech market as well.

The first chapter describes the general characteristics of the Dutch market from the perspective of the historical, political or economic position. In the second chapter I deals with specific cultural habits of both countries (the Netherlands and the Czech Republic) with a focus on conflicts in the negotiations and cultural differences. The last chapter is devoted to the practical example of Czech company cooperating with the Dutch company. In addition, more present outlined the emergence of cooperation, as is currently developing a partnership and future perspectives.

Insurance of the air carrier

This bachelor thesis under the name "Insurance of the air carrier" is divided into four parts. In the first part the focus is on legislature of flight insurance and the most important international treaties and regulations of the European Parliament. The second part is dedicated to the basic types of insurance that are being stipulated by the air carriers and the third part of the thesis is about the occurrance of insurance event and the liquidation thereof. The development in the area of aviaton insurance is mentioned in the last part of the thesis.

Bretton Woods Monetary System

Bretton Woods system has never been a main topic of Czech economic literature even though it strongly influenced finance of the most developed countries between 1944 and 1971 (1973). This diploma thesis is an attempt to analyze this important historical phenomena in international finance and the last metal oriented system in the history. The first chapter brings the most important terms and definitions that are necessary for better understanding of this problem. It is followed by chapters analysing international finance development in this area starting with the interwar period, followed by creation of Bretton Woods Monetary System in 1944 and first very successful and hopeful years that finally came to an end with accumulation of more problems that put a strain on the system such as for instance creation of long term dollar deficits by United States. This paper also analyzes the most important problems, finds similarities between Bretton Woods System and European Monetary System and tries to answer a question if this system or any monetary system like that can be successful on a long term basis.

The Personality of Abbé Pierre and the Emaus Movement.

My dissertation focuses on the personality of Henri Groues, who later adopted the pseudonym Abbé Pierre, and his achievement: the foundation of the Emmaüs movement. In the first chapter, I introduce the reader to the topic and structure of the dissertation and I mention problems usually encountered by those addressing this topic. The second chapter describes the personality of Henri Groues and his influence on the Emmaüs movement. The following chapter deals with problematic aspects of Abbé Pierre's personality, i.e. his media image and relationship with the church. Finally, the last chapter is devoted to the foundation and development of the Emmaüs movement from their own perspective.

Thesis "Financial analysis of FC Slovan Liberec" focuses especially on reviewing financial position and efficiency of this football club in four year period. The first theoretical part is complemented with practical calculations in the second part. In the second part author focuses on horizontal analysis, vertical analysis and other models of financial analysis.

First chapter of this diploma thesis discusses foundation, historical background and contemporary situation of Andean Community of Nations. Second chapter describes Andean Integration System and role of individual bodies and institutions that form this system. Third chapter pays attention to role of Andean Community of Nations in South-American integration process and it's relation to other integration blocs in South America -- Common Market of the South, Union of South-American Nations and Bolivarian Alternative for Latin America and the Caribbean. Fourth chapter evaluates impact of Andean integration process on economic and trade development in member countries.

American subprime crisis

This bachelor thesis is focused on American mortgage crisis. The aim is to analyze causes of this crisis and find out who is responsible for it and how. The causes are analyzed in the first part of thesis. One of it's sub-chapters is focused on a question, if this crisis is a new phenomenon or just a variation of previous crises. The second part of this thesis describes real estate market from long term trends point of view and also history of mortgages with focus on sub-prime mortgages segment. The last part of the thesis analyzes particular subjects of the crisis and their share it the crisis.

Eritrea and Somaliland - comparison of independence struggle

The aim of this thesis is to compare efforts of Eritrea and Somaliland to obtain independence and to find out why Eritrea was in independence obtaining succesful and Somaliland not. Chapter 1 offers a basic theoretical background concerning a question of international law and formation of a state. Based on basic international law documents regarding this topic it describes crucial terms and principles. Further it discusses a question of secession justifiability and it concerns also application of theoretical principles in reality. Chapter 2 includes basic geographical information and ethnical characteristics of population of both regions. Chapter 3 briefly describes history of both states from their emergence up to the beginning of fifties of the last century. The aim of this chapter is to describe international and internal influences which formed uniqueness of both regions within parent states which later supported the efforts to obtain independence. Chapter 4 is devoted to a concrete description of both areas' efforts to obtain independence in the second half of 20th century. It focuses mainly on international negotiations regarding future of both countries, formation and development of independence movements and the concrete course of independence declaration. Chapter 5 evaluates the course and results of independence struggle in both countries.

Economic impacts of the public debt of the Czech Republic

This thesis dedicates the introductory section to definitions of basic terms of the chosen topic. Here is clarified the issue of public finance and budgets, functions of the state budget and the revenue and expenditure sides. This thesis is focused on drafting of the causes of the public debt, together with the effects of debt and the possibilities to reduce it. Public sector structure is presented within its categorization, including the national debt, government debt and public debt. The second part of this thesis examines the development of public debt in the Czech Republic along with the development of the national debt and government debt. The conclusion is dedicated to the evaluation analysis of mutual conditionality of public debt and selected variables along with recommendation to reduce the debt of the Czech Republic.
