The M.A. thesis is focused on body posture which serves as a stabilization of vertical position of the body in gravitational field and which supports movement. Without body posture, any targeted movement cannot take place. The thesis mainly discusses how to attain a physiologically correct body posture in classical dance while drawing out the lower limbs en dehors. It is a basic predisposition for the realization of related movements without the risk of overburdening or injury of the movement apparatus.

Šimůnková, Lucie ; SCHUBERTOVÁ, Erika (advisor) ; KŘENKOVÁ, Mahulena (referee)
This bachelor´s thesis describes which accommodation options are offered by chosen Prague dance conservatories to their commuting students. The first theoretical part of the thesis introduces the structure of the Czech educational system where the conservatories for eight years (from the educational institutions) are closely analysed and the boarding houses (from the educational facilities) as well. Also, there are characteristics of the development period of adolescence which is the age of the conservatories´ students. The second practical part analyses the results of the research work which was done by using questionnaires for students not living in Prague, visiting two chosen schools -The Prague Dance Centre and The Conservatory of the capital of Prague. The processed information was used for the verification of the assigned hypothesis and for getting a more compact view on the extremely demanding life period of commuting students.

Something between us - Work with a Group of Performers
Reihserová, Lenka ; ELIÁŠOVÁ, Bohumíra (advisor) ; OVSOVÁ, Libuše (referee)
Summary In my master thesis I focused on work with a group of performers. I tried to describe this topic from a dance teacher´s point of view who both respects the dance techniques and searches the way of developing the dancer to be prepared for his professional carreer in which he is often a member of a group. In my research I came to several important conclusions which I included in the particular chapters. I became aware of the importance of motor skills and perception, the meaning of dance improvisation and I also mentioned the problematics of teacher and performer´s forming of personality. I applied my theoretic conclusions in a practical examination as written in the last chapter.

Voice education for dance pedagogues
Kafková, Martina ; VODÁČKOVÁ, Daniela (advisor) ; JANDA ROGLOVÁ, Tereza (referee)
Pressented master´s thesis reflects a personal quest of voice pedagogy for dance pedagogues titled: Voice education for dance pedagogues. It derives from a drill based artistic evvironment and it deliberately branches off to a path towards vocal expression being discovered primarily through human needs. The author presents a belief, the cornerstone of any pedagogical work with a "fragile" human being is an environment of mutual trust and confidence, which only can offer a safe place and enough space for rehearsing. It is this perspective the thesis is being processed and deliberately presented. The quest of authorial approach towards the student the author had undergone represents a paralel to the existential form she had captured in previous bachelor?s thesis under the title: Author´s existence, or a path from a stage to children´s playgrounds.
