Experimental methodology of measuring
Lojková, Lea ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This work is focused on the development of a thorough study about ISO standards focused on the vehicle dynamics, standardized tests of vehicle dynamics and measured variables that allow us to describe and model the behaviour of riding vehicles properly. In the Appendix A of the thesis, there is a list of all known ISO standards dealing with given topic. The standard ISO 15037-1 Road vehicles – Vehicle dynamics test methods, Part 1: General conditions for passenger cars is described in detail, including the forms for test reports and the Appendix C and D. In the thesis, there is also described a model of minimal needed measuring system that is still in good accordance with the standard ISO 15037-1 and fulfills all its requirements. Detailed description of all used sensors that are used to measure required variables is given, as well as a short description of all sensors that are used for measurement of other variables. After that, measurement abilities of the instrumentation of measuring system RIO used in ÚADI FSI Brno is compared and confronted with requirements given by the standard, to see, if all given criteria are properly fulfilled. Because of the fact that standard-given criteria are quite mild, while the equipment of the faculty is high-level technology, mostly made directly for measuring of dynamic parameters of the vehicles, including racing vehicles, the system is in full accordance with the standard ISO 15037-1.

The bachelor thesis is divided into five main issues. The first issue is dealing with history of exploitation of water as a power supply in Slovakia and is describing current situation of exploitation of watercourses. The next part of the thesis is describing a present condition of power industry in Slovakia, its future perspective and a possibility of deriving benefit from the most perspective renewable resources of energy. The essential issue handles with water power stations ant its description. The last capture is focused on small hydroelectric power stations and technic – economical evaluation of three concrete SHPS. The conclusion is attending to short overview of information obtained by writing the bachelor thesis and to author’s own estimation of development of renewable energy sources situation in Slovakia.
Transient Effect at the Output of a Linear Dynamic System Controlled Pulse-Width Modulation
Petera, M.
The goal of this work is to determine the size of overshoot produced at the output of a linear continuous second order system controlled by pulse width modulation. This work contains the calculation of the output signal response of the system in the time domain using the Laplace transform. The calculations of the amplitude of the output signal based on the pulse width modulation and system parameters are performed in this work. Finally the possibilities were given to determine the suitable period of pulse width modulation for required ripple. All the important calculations were compared with the simulations in the MATLAB-SIMULINK program and with the measurement at the real inertia second order cell.
Combine harvester CLAAS with tracked chasses evaluation
CIRHAN, Radek
This work is focused to combine harvester with tracked chasses evaluation. Evaluated combine harvester is Claas Lexion 570 TerraTrac. Size of losses, quality of crushing and spreading of postharvest rests is evaluated at combine harvester. In the next part of this work is humidity influence at size of losses, quality of crushing and spreading of postharvest rests evaluated. Work is filled in for analysis of output, fuel consumption, influence of tracked chasses to output and economic machine evaluation. Size of losses at grains complies agrotechnics conditions, this conditions weren´t complied at harvest of oilseed rape. Influence of humidity to quality of spreading was insignificant and it is around 1%. Fuel consumption ranged from 19,8 to 20,86 l*ha-1. Output of machine ranged from 2,91 to 3,16 ha*hod-1. Combine harvester reached economic losses in first year, which was given by low annual using of machine. The least annual using is 617 ha.
MIKO international Ltd. - analysis of development
Vlčan, Tomáš ; Poborský, František (advisor) ; Marek, Petr (referee)
Goal of the bachelor thesis named "MIKO international Ltd. - analysis of development" is to analyze development of MIKO international Ltd. since its foundation from the point of view of investor which considers entering into the same branch. The thesis is divided into two parts. Methodological part introduces procedures which have been used in second, practical part. This part firstly analyses profit and loss statements, their sections and generation of profit. Analysis of balance sheet assesses development of estate and capital structure. Financial ratios are used to describe development of individual items. It has been found out that the development of company can be divided into three periods, which differ in location of production.
Modern Trends in Facility Management
Šimon, Peter ; Veber, Jaromír (advisor) ; Kohut, Ivan (referee)
The Master's Thesis is generally about facility management -- its essence, individual services it consists of, and also about their integration when they are provided by one key supplier, and finally about their complex integration in one service package, i. e. complex integrated supporting services provision what is a modern trend of this discipline. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the advantages and efficiency of the trend of service integration under one key supplier based on specific practical examples.
Data envelopment analysis and their application in chosen branch
BANDÍK, Tomáš
Data envelopment analysis is one of methods how to compare the efficiency of transformation of the inputs to the outputs among production units. It helps to improve the efficiency and to identify weak points in production systems. The target of DEA is to divide focused subjects to efficiency and non-efficiency groups, comparing the amount of used sources as inputs and the amount of outputs. At first there are described some important conceptions in theory part. Then explanation of principes DEA follow and basic models analysis description too. The desription supposes constant returns to scale and variable returns to scale. There is contain a chapter devoting to description of using software. The practical part of my bachelor thesis is focused on using DEA to compare different countries by HDI ( human developmet index) The solution of this case work with characteristics used by calculating HDI.
Taylor Rule and Its Macroeconomics Relations
Mičúch, Marek ; Chytil, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Kupka, Martin (referee) ; Sedláček, Petr (referee)
Despite considerable research on the monetary policy rules, little is known about internal relation between policy rules targets. Research approach frequently consists in estimating parameters or identifying variables to make the rule operate accurately. The overall image that emerges from the literature is that there is no contradiction in attaining the targets once set properly. Dissertation switches attention to mutual feasibility of incorporated targets. To contribute to this strikingly overlooked fact hypothesis is tested. Analyzed are variances of inflation and output representing policy rule targets. Time regression processed throughout OLS technique, gap analysis and calculation of variances are applied as principal analytical tools. Examined are data for 14 countries. Countries are divided into two groups according to size of their economy: small economies (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Hungary, Ireland, The Nederlands and Slovak Republic); large economies (Euro zone, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and USA). Results of the analysis show that once monetary authority follows policy rule with multiple targets it faces restriction. Rather than achieving both targets at one time it must respect trade off between them. According to data for selected countries hypothesis is accepted. Variances of output consistently proved to be higher than variances of inflation. Whence it follows that authority need to solve constrained optimization problem. It needs to pick out combination of differently large variances contrary to wining with all reaching low levels.
