Development of advanced masonnry blocks for acoustic masonry construction
Lidmilová, Klára ; Horský, Antonín (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with study of sound behaviour in the field of partition structures, especially inter-residential partitions, evaluation of structures in terms of acoustic insulation properties and the production of ceramics in general and acoustic masonry elements. Based on a literature search and market research, new ways of solving acoustic-insulating masonry, including construction, were proposed. The feasibility of construction was verified on a small-scale model created using 3D printing. The selected masonry element was further developed into various dimensional modules, which were compared on the basis of the weights of the individual elements and on the basis of the number of joints. Furthermore, the levels of lightening of the elements were adjusted in order to achieve the highest possible values of the basis weight of the masonry and thus the highest possible airborne sound insulation.
Spectral analyse of sound in space acoustics
Port, Martin ; Bereznanin, Martin (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is an introduction to the problems of acoustics and is focused on the variables describing the noise. The methodology for measuring noise in relation with valid hygiene standards is analyzed in next section. The noise levels at work required by government regulation no. 148/2006 are summarized in a subsequent charter. The next section is an introduction to the analyzer PULSE 3560B from Brüel & Kjar. This work describes a software called Labshop, which is designed to analyze noise and vibrations. It also describes the most common features Acoustilyzer NTI AL1. The practical part was to measure the reverberation, noise, frequency spectrum and plott the distribution of noise with noise maps of various auditoriums.
Airconditioning of the passive house
Voleš, Jakub ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is the concept of the air-conditioning and cooling system for the residential rooms of the two-storeyed house. The technical solution respects functional, hygienic and operational demands on the internal microclimate. The main functional requirement of the air-conditioning system is compensation of the heat losses and the annual inflow of the necessary minimum of the fresh air. The theoretical part of the thesis is concerned about acoustics and it’s connection with air-conditioning. Firstly, the text introduces what is sound from the physical point of view, characteristics and it’s impact on the physiology of the humans. At the end of the theoretical part are mentioned the sources of sound and it’s spreading through the system. Finally, the methods leading to the reduction in harming acoustics effects are presented. The result of the computational part is the design of the air-conditioning unit, the piping and the other components; also the concept of the direct cooling at the summer period. The project part containes the technical report, the attachements and the project documentation for realization.
Presence and action of negative audio signals in environment
Renza, Pavel ; Šebesta, Vladimír (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
The thesis deals with negative influences of audio signals in the environment and the impact of the signals on human in psychological and physiological point of view. The origins of such audio signals as well as protection from their negative effects are considered. The thesis includes an overview study of standards and basic literature. Selected audio signals are presented using a program for negative audio signal analysis.
Civic amenities building
Svoboda, David ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
The aim of the master’s thesis is the design of a new music club building in Valtice. The first part of the thesis is the architectural and structural design. The building of irregular rectangular shape with one underground floor and two above-ground floors is divided into two main operational units – a dance hall and a rock club. The chosen structural system is reinforced concrete columns with locally supported floors. The walls are made of sand-lime blocks. The main insulation material is hemp. The building is covered by a flat roof with extensive greenery. The second part deals with the building services. Ventilation, heating and cooling are provided by HVAC units. The heat source is condensing gas boilers, the cooling source is an outdoor VRV cooling unit. The third part of the master‘s thesis is the acoustic assessment of the building. As a noise source, it mainly addresses the acoustic impact on the surrounding buildings in the vicinity. Furthermore, it optimizes the reverberation time in the rock club. The project was produced in accordance with the legal regulations and technical standards and created in AutoCAD software.
Engineering design of the mobile acoustic shielding
Rakhmatullin, Artem ; Nohál, Libor (referee) ; Klapka, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of improving the environment for measurement using variable elements with acoustic insulation. The aim was to design several variants of acoustic shields and choose the best according to the specific requirements described in the work. We have calculated a specific theoretical estimate of attenuation from values reported from different manufacturers. The designed structure can be used to shield unwanted sources of ambient noise.
Pure tone audiometer
Blahák, Petr ; Rampl, Ivan (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
Human hearing is to collect information from the outside world and is one of the basic human senses. Part of this thesis is devoted to acoustics, properties of the human ear in terms of perception of sounds and methods, which human ears are investigating. Audiometer is an instrument which is most often used in healthcare. The main content of this thesis is to design pure tone audiometer, which is important for the subjective tests of human hearing non-invasive method.
Bank Air Conditioning
Grbál, Jakub ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the designing of air-conditioning in the bank building. In the theoretic part of the work I present the principle of ventilation and air conditioning. My work describes the advantages and disadvantages of the single systems. The result of the calculation part is the design of the optimum air-conditioning system for the drawing of thermal load in the summer period.
Home for seniors
Koláříková, Eliška ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
The aim of the master´s thesis is to design a Residential care home as smart building. It is situated in the centre of Křenovice near Brno. The master´s thesis is divided into three parts, first part presents design documentation, second part is focused on building services and the final part presents noise control in building. Residential care house is designed as two-storey building without basement with flat roof. On the first floor there is utility area for senior house and healthcare facility and on the second floor there are flats for seniors. Residential care house is built on footing. Load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls are designed from hollow bricks type THERM. External walls are insulated with mineral wool. The roofing of residential care house is made up of extensive green roof. The building services of the building includes two ground-water heat pumps with boreholes for heating and cooling, photovoltaic panels, HVAC, hot water cylinder and rainwater storage tank. The final part is focused on noise control in building. It is about acoustic in construction. Noise study is also included.
Pure tone audiometry
Maršálková, Leona ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
The presented master’s thesis deals with the acoustics, specifically with the selected characteristics of the sound. It focuses on the anatomy of the auditory system and its function. The work describes the testing approaches for an evaluation of the auditory organ function and introduces modern methods used for the hearing tests, especially pure tone audiometry. A part of the thesis is dedicated to a concept of an audiometer for pure tone audiometry, which is presented in a detailed block diagram along with a description of its working components. Included chapters describe the partial circuits of the audiometer supplemented by the calcuations of its individual elements. The concluding part of the thesis deals with the evaluation of the device’s functionality.
