Huťková, Markéta
Bachelor thesis deals with demographic aspects of unemployment in the Zlín Region in 2010–2019. The main objective of the work is to identify factors involved in the development of unemployment in the Zlín Region and its districts. A method of demographic analysis is used to present the results of the evolution of the demographic characteristics of unemployment and the structure of registered job seekers and their relationships. Demographic changes have led to an ageing population and an increase in the educational level of the population, which is reflected in the labour market of the Zlín Region by low unemployment and labour shortages in certain sectors. The conclusion of the work proposes recommendations to improve the current situation, which would help to increase employment among older and low-skilled people, as they are among the most at-risk jobseekers, to further retain and attract younger people to the region and to ensure consistency between education supply and labour market demand.

Štěpánová, Anna ; Vorálek, Rostislav (advisor) ; Petružela, Jan (referee)
Title: The difference in range of motion between dominant and non-dominant upper extremity of female volleyball players. Objectives: The aim of this study is to compare the shoulder range of motion of dominant and non-dominant upper extremity of female volleyball players. The work should inform about the extent of muscle dysbalancies caused by asymetric loading. Methods: The study is qualitative and all the data will be obtained by measurements. For measuring i will utilise hypermobility tests by Janda as a foundation but mainly the goniometry. The data were proseded with respect to studied literature dealing with this topic. Results: Evaluation of range of motion and coparison with the physiology. Key words: volleyball, range of motion, mobility, shoulder joint, goniometry
Geografické aspekty autostopu ve vybraných státech Evropy
NOVOTNÝ, Ondřej
Hitchhiking has a lot of stigma attached to it. General opinions on this specific way to travel vary throughout history and now it has begun to grow in popularity once again. This thesis deals with the issue of hitchhiking in certain European countries. The countries were selected based on their accessibility from the Czech Republic. It first discusses the issue of placing hitchhiking into scientific disciplines and the reasons for such placement and how the chosen discipline has affected hitchhiking. It further mentions other factors that may have contributed to hitchhiking in the past or do so today. The main part of the thesis consists of a map that is comparing the described countries in terms of their accessibility for hitchhikers. Vytvoření a charakterizace transgenních linií drozofil manifestující neurodegenerativní onemocnění spinocerebelární ataxi typu 1 (SCA1)
JIČÍNSKÁ, Veronika
The aim of this thesis was to generate and characterize transgenic lines of Drosophila melanogaster manifesting spinocerebellar ataxia type 1 (SCA1), using GAL4/UAS system. Specific driver lines were used to express ataxin gene in pan neuronal, eye and motor neurons. Adult males from different crosses expressing abnormal ataxin gene with parallel controls aged 5 day and 30 day were used for all experiments. The effects of such expression on mobility, longevity and neurodegenerative changes in the brain was studied. Moreover, specific techniques such are RT-PCR, and western blotting were used to test expression of specific genes and to quantify level of specific proteins. Neurodegenerative changes in transgenic lines were documented using confocal microscopy. The expression of specific genes such as ataxin and matrix metalloproteinase 1 and 2 (dMMP1, dMMP2) was studied in all used fly lines. The results showed that gene expression of hAtXN1 was higher in lines manifesting SCA1 compared to controls. However, the trend of MMP expression was not completely clear and will be the subject of future research.
