Electronic support for subject Computer hardware

This thesis deals with the creation of an electronic course, designation of a reliable support system for testing and also with the preparation and suggestion of testing questions for a Computer hardware subject. Another part of the thesis is the appending Graphical User Interface (GUI) for generation of questions of type “Cloze”. It means “Embedded answer” in Moodle. Nonetheless, the significant part of the thesis is the designation of its own E-learning information system. This system enables the students to have the opportunity to educate themselves and also to get prepared for the successful completion by passing the electronic exam.
Inorganic Nomenclature E-learning Study Materials Processing

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is e-learning and the creation of teaching material Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry. The theoretical part is dealing with the definitions of e-learning, its development and modern trends in this dynamic sector of education. The theoretical part contains the current state of Web search in the area of teaching Czech inorganic nomenclature. Is also briefly presented Adobe Flash, which was created educational applications Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry. The practical part presents the results of a questionnaire with a sample of 451 students Faculty of Chemistry at Brno University of Technology. The thesis also includes analysis of students mistakes. End of the practical part is dedicated to the description of learning material, which is primarily designed as a supplement for teaching the nomenclature of inorganic chemistry at the chemical faculty in Brno.
Tvorba e-learningových studijních materiálů - Virtual Chemical Laboratory I

E-learning is one way for people (not only students) to offer assistance and study support the use of information technology - that is in electronic form. This work is based on the creation of practical teaching material - a virtual laboratory. It is intended mainly for first-year students FCH VUT in Brno, but also to other schools with chemical or general bent. An application created using Macromedia Flash MX is introduces lab bench in the chemical laboratory and helps in preparing students for practical exercises in drawing simple training apparatus and alerts them to the most common mistakes at work. Theoretical part consists of two chapters. The first deals with e-learning and using it, types of used study materials and a description of the selected helper applications. The second chapter is the introduction to the copyright system, Macromedia Flash MX, its basic functions and a description of the environment. The practical part looks at the creation, design and application control Virtual chemical laboratory I.
Learning Management System in medical facility

This bachelor thesis is focused on Learning Management Systems and use of e-learning in a medical facility as a tool for education. The aim of this thesis is the definition of Learning Management Systems and e-learning, mapping needs of a medical facility in education of employees and necessary aspects for choice and implementation of a learning management system in the facility. Practical part of the thesis is focused on analysis of recently implemented LMS Moodle in the Vysočina region and developing a manual for creation and administration of electronic courses. The aims are achieved by using available relevant sources, consulting in respective institutions and using LMS Moodle. My own contribution in this work is the manual for creation and administration of electronic courses and transformation of a mandatory training course at the Jihlava hospital to electronic form using LMS Moodle.
Ways of using e-learning in teaching of physics at basic school

Thesis theoretical part based on research describes the different types of e-learning with its development and particularly with pedagogical context in elementary school, and also with its psychosocial aspects. Presents the possibility of using the multimedia in Physics teaching. Furthermore, the practical part describes a concrete deployment of LMS Moodle for Physics teaching - branch Fluids for the blended learning teaching style and compares it with the traditional way of teaching.
Aplication question module for LMS Moodle 2

In the first part are described the current and suggested solutions of the modules together with their advantages and disadvantages of both solutions. The major objective of this Bachelor's thesis is the possibility of using e-learning methods in vocational education at secondary schools. Educational material on Intelligent Buildings presented in an e-form is created in this work. The proposed learning material and its tools are processed in the form of an electronic course book and lecture, and in the form of a video and a power point presentation. This educational material will be used in vocational training at Secondary School of Information Techno-logy, and Postal and Financial Services, Čichnova 23, Brno, and will be primarily used by students with poor school attendance in order to fill their knowledge gaps. The theoretical part of the Bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of distance education and e-learning. The main aim of this part is to find and describe advantages and disadvantages of distance learning, possible types of communication between stu-dents and a teacher, and a team composition which is responsible for the creation of the courses. The second part of this section involves the description of the system in which e-learning courses can be created. The goal of the practical part is the creation of an e-learning course in the Moodle system which will include educational material processed in four different variants, and also a didactic test intended to test the knowledge of the participants.
Publishing of photo galleries in Google Picasa

This bachelor thesis is engaged in publication of photographs with the aid of Google Picasa programme. The e-learning course was created on the LMS Moodle server. This e-learning course is engaged in the theme "Publication of photographs in Google Picasa". The lessons in this programme are designed so the user will teach the high-quality editing, their setup into the web galleries, formation, online editing and sharing of galleries. The part of thesis was the propagation of this dilemma and short reports at the information servers on the internet. The dilemma was propagated like science-popular article. Using the internet servers was key decision because there was need for many users engagé in this e-learning course. Essential part was lead in practice the created e-learning course. The other output from the thesis is comparing the online editors and online web galleries in comparison to Google Picasa.
Development of new modules for Moodle LMS

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze issues that come with the development of Moodle LMS modules. The theoretical part is devoted to the research of Moodle 2.0 programming framework capabilities, followed by the methodology of creating modules based on this platform. The verification of methodology is provided in the practical part by the development of a specific module, along with the effective installation of Moodle 2.0 LMS and documentation, that describes its functionality, installation procedure, critical points and a test of portability between other versions of this system.
Problems of creating e-learning courses for handicapped

The thesis discusses the problems of e-learning for handicapped. It concerns creation of electronic courses for visually and hearing-impaired students. The main target is to create and publish a sample course for this groups of students. The course shows practical employment of methods and recommendations for creating study materials easily accessible for handicapped. Those methods and recommendations are described in the theoretical part of the thesis. The creation and publication of the sample course is completely carried out using freely available software applications and services. The operating procedure, advantages and limits of this approach are described as well as further possible development of the courses for handicapped. The thesis could then serve as one of the first theoretical and practical handbook for creating this type of courses. The first part sketches out the specifics of visually and hearing-impaired and various types of teaching these handicapped. In the second part of the thesis the rules and recommendations for a correct creation of an e-learning course for handicapped are explained. Principally the technical rules but also some pedagogical suggestions are focused. The last part of the thesis shows the method of creating an e-learning course for handicapped in the e-learning system Moodle using freely available audio-visual applications and publication services.
