Design of grout joint for chemical exposure using secondary raw materials
Matušková, Veronika ; Hodná, Jana (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is the design of a high-quality polymeric grout joint using secondary raw materials and hazardous waste for increased chemical exposure. The main use assumed of the proposed grout joint is grouting of the cast basalt elements in building objects that are systematically exposure due to the highly aggressive chemical load. The use of input materials produced by progressive technologies should be another benefit of this grout joint to enhance the ecological aspects of the grout joint production.
Epoxy Resin with Aaluminium Oxide Nanofiller and its Dielectric Properties
Lontrasová, Aneta
Topic of this paper is dielectric properties of epoxy resins, containing nanoparticles of Al2O3. Dielectric spectroscopy was used during epoxy nanocomposite diagnostics. These new materials are candidates for use in manufacturing modern insulators, where it can aid in reducing their dimensions. This research also focuses on studying dielectric properties of Al2O3 nanofiller over long periods. Large number of nanoparticles and area between them in epoxy matrix means higher number of weak spots, which may be the source of defects and may lead to increased deterioration of nanocomposites compared to composites without nanoparticles.
Production technology for a vacuum mold
Ponka, Ondřej ; Bartoš, Tomáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the design and production of the mold for vacuum forming. Specifically, how the existing and new mold materials affect their design and, consequently, their production technology. The thesis contains a brief description of the principle of vacuum molding. Technological and design principles of designing molds. Furthermore, the realization of the solution variants and the simulation of their production. The solved variants are subsequently evaluated from a technical and economic point of view.
Development of polymer repair materials using secondary raw materials
Juřička, Viktor ; Vyhnánková, Michaela (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the development of polymeric repair mortars in two qualitative levels ECONOMY and PREMIUM, designed especially for heavy engineering plants and the energy industry. In order to effectively withstand difficult industrial conditions, the developed materials should meet the highest requirements such as increased chemical and heat resistance, excellent adhesion to the concrete substrate, minimal shrinkage and other physical and mechanical properties. The PREMIUM level is aimed to achieve maximum physical and mechanical properties. Within the economy version, the emphasis is placed not only on very good properties, but also the possibility capability of reducing price of the resulting material. The partial aim of this work is the efficient use of secondary raw materials, mainly based on industrial waste in the form of fillers to the developed polymeric repair mortars.
Development of progressive polymer anchor material
Žlebek, Tomáš ; Jakubík, Aleš (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with development of a new progressive anchor material on the polymer base. Nowadays, it is effort to utilize secondary raw materials in building industry as much as possible both from an environmental aspects in order to save primary energy sources and the reduction of waste and also due to economic reasons. Therefore, there is an effort to utilize high amount of suitable and appropriately treated secondary raw materials into the anchor materials. The main aim of this work is to develop high quality anchor material characterized by excellent ratio between speed and strength growth, high chemical resistance, thermal resistance and particularly minimal shrinkage. This new material is designed especially for anchoring building structures heavy machines steel barriers and other elements.
Development of high polymer grout system
Ručková, Kateřina ; Seidlová, Michaela (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on polymer grout, designed for heavy engineering operations and energy industry. The aim of the thesis is to define the requirements for use of polymer grout and also evaluation of testing procedures and legislative regulations on properties of these materials. Based on theoretical knowledge gained from literature will be designed HighTech polymer grout using secondary input materials.
Electrical properties analysis of epoxy resins with various fillers
Horák, Luděk ; Kazelle, Jiří (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
Presented bachelor thesis is focused on studying electroinsulating epoxy resin-based sealings. It describes the chemical composition, production, properties and measuring methods of basic electric quantities of these materials. This work also embodies a preparation of composite epoxy resin samples with different kinds of micro-ground siliceous sand as a filling. The samples given are measured on the temperature dependency of relative permitivity, dissipation factor and inner resistivity.
Additives effect on electrical properties of the epoxy resins
Šebesta, Petr ; Kazelle, Jiří (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
Work was carried out in collaboration with SYNPO, Inc. Pardubice, which provided samples resins with various additives for measurement. The work is divided into three theoretical and one practical chapters. The first chapter focuses on dielectrics in general. It deals with their properties and storyline running in them. The second chapter discusses epoxy resins, their formulation, production and application in manufacturing. The third chapter offers a view of the measurement methods used for diagnosing electrical dielectrics. The practical part describes the preparation of samples and their composition, and consequently their measurement with the evaluation of measurement data.
Degradation of nanocomposites
Polách, Ondřej ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Polsterová, Helena (advisor)
The present work deals with the electrical properties of nanocomposite materials. Samples for the practical part consisting of epoxy resin as matrix and SiO2 as nanofillers and were made in four different percentage performance. There is investigated the influence of thermal degradation of nanocomposite materials change resistivity, loss factor and relative permitivity.
Polymers based on epoxydized oils
Zálešáková, Romana ; Tocháček, Jiří (referee) ; Přikryl, Radek (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is study of materials based on epoxidized vegetables oils, production of test specimens of selected matrix and assessment of its mechanical and thermal properties. The theoretical part deals with epoxy resins, their structure and curing. Then it deals with general description of vegetable oils and their epoxidization. Experimental part describes curing of epoxy resin by hardeners, based on carboxylic acid anhydrides. Curing epoxidized soybean oil was tested with different anhydride hardeners and curing the mixture with commercial epoxy system. Test specimens were prepared from selected mixtures. Specimens were studied by tensile, bending and impact test, TGA and DMA.
