Reconstruction of historical landscape painting to landscaping needs
ROBA, Kamil
The following bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of a landscape in the selected cadastral area Litvínovice. The municipality is located approximately 7 kilometers southwest from the center of České Budějovice. First I focus on the description of the given cadastral area. Following that, the comparison of the historical arrangement of the landscape over the years 1842, 1952 and 2015 respectively, was made. Individual time frames were compared and evaluated for the purposes of the land modifications. Among the main elements used during the comparison belong LU, charts, and graphs for given time frames. Detailed comparison depicts development of the landscape in the selected cadastral area and evaluates alterations over time. Each component of the landscape was evaluated individually for the sake of easier orientation.
Proposal of road network for complex land adjustment
FLORIÁN, Ondřej
The main purpose of this thesis was compiling the detailed literature search containing the description of a road network from the historical development point of view, detail characteristics of lane types used in complex land adjustment and the evaluation of the road and lane network as a possible element of erosion control. The main object was the analysis of the road and lane network changes during several historical periods, in which the network was captured, studied and the results were compared. The possible causes of the changes where described for key moments of the historical development. As the location of interest the cadastral area Nakri in Ceske Budejovice district was chosen. For this location the detailed road and lane network analasys shows clear overview of remarkable changes during historical development. A part of this thesis is not only capturing the changes, but also a proposal of resolved complex land adjustment, which is in compliance with latest requirements for proposing a plan of common facilities.
Lowland forests in Czech Republic
NOVOMĚSTSKÁ, Markéta
Novoměstská M. 2015: Lowland forests in Czech Republic - educational project. Bachelor thesis, Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. 56 pp. The main aim of this thesis is to inform ISCED 2 school pupils about the landscape of Czech Republic, specifically about the large herbivores role in the forest structure and with the traditional ways of forest management, through the use of educational program - tour in National Park Podyjí. This thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the landscape development since the last ice age, emphasizes the importance of old or dead trees in forest and the introduction to NP Podyjí. The practical part describes the tour itself. The results of the knowledge test of the tour attendants are included in the thesis. The knowledge of lowland forests was significantly higher not only immediately after the tour, but also one year after the tour attendance. The educational program can thus be evaluated as permanent effective in the sense of gained knowledge about lowland forests.
The historical development of unpaved road network in given cadastral territory
MÁCHA, Jiří
The aim of the work was to assess and evaluate the historical development of road networks from the view of their projection in a comprehensive land adjustment. For this purpose, three cadastral areas, that represent a wide range of natural conditions, were chosen. Historical stages, in which the road network has been captured, were determined and studied in detail. To create an overview of the unpaved roads, evaluation criteria, by which individual areas were selected and compared in the chosen historical stages, were designed. On the basis of the results, the turning points of unpaved roads development were determined and their causes were described. The accomplished analysis of the road network in particular historical periods gives a clear overview in development of unpaved roads and arrangement of individual land lines. Historical image of unpaved road network, as an integrated complex, can be used only as inspirational material within the plan projection. This material has to be revised according to current legislation requirements, standards and wishes of landowners.
Land use changes of agricultural landscape in selected areas of Novohradsko and Stropnicko in broader historical context.
JIROUŠKOVÁ, Lenka
Changes of land use influence landscape structure, ecological stability, biodiversity and course of biotic and abiotic processes. The intensity of these changes mainly depends on geographic location of the area, land attractiveness and a level of maturity or development of the society. This thesis is focused on evaluation of historical and present changes of land use in Novohradsko and Stropnicko area. This area had in past decades and centuries undergone major landscape changes that are shown on many map sources. These data were elaborated through GIS tools and subsequently analyzed. According to my conclusion, the long- and short-term trends in observed changes of land use have been identified. Since the early 19th Century the arable land area had declined whereas the grasslands had spread out in the studied area. In contrast, recent years resulted in fact that an increase of grass area has stopped which does not coincide with the general effort to grass the LFA.
