The importace of professional practice in tertiary education branch of social work

In the last part you can see how professional practice is dealt with at higher professional schools and universities.
Cross-border projects of children's adventure center KiEZ (Kinder-und Erholungszentrum) Sebnitz e.V.

This thesis analyzes the project activity of the children's experiential center KiEZ (Kinder-und Erholungszentrum) Sebnitz eV in Saxony which has been orientated towards the Czech-German border cooperation in recent years. The Bachelor thesis will focus on the creation, targets and it will present project methods and experiential learning methodology which the center KiEZ uses. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part introduces experiential learning and its definition, principles and goals. The practical part describes the institutions of KiEZ and their standards and significance. Furthermore, it is focused on the specific organization KiEZ Sebnitz and its activities. The services provided by this center, types of offers and projects are described in detail. A separate chapter is devoted to the Czech-German projects.
The Adaptation courses and their use in conditions of Hotel Schoul in Pilsen

This thesis deals with the organization and importance of so called adaptation courses for first grade students of study and vocational field of study. The opinions on importance and usefulness of these courses at High school of Gastronomy and Tourism in Pilsen are various even after twelve years of the courses existence. There is a large group of enthusiastic teachers supporting the courses but also a large group of their opponents. The theoretical part focuses on the summary of experiential learning, methods and its inclusion in the current school system. It deals with the scheme, objectives formulation and structure of the adaptation courses. It also provides a brief overview of organizations implementing the courses ?on request?. The research part is intended to find out the significance of these courses concerning the attitude of the participants, both the teachers and first grade students. It also focuses on the opinion of future students and it marginally detects the view of respondents outside the school. The results and findings from the research are summarized in the last section. Based on the synthesis the new, optimized procedure of the courses is proposed. At the same time one day programe is designed in case of cancelling the residential courses.
The class climate of the first-year of secondary schools depending on the adaptation course

The work deals with the comparison of classes that have taken part in an adaptation course to those that have not. The theoretical part describes a class as a small social group and refers to its structure. It also deals with group dynamics and explains developmental stages of a small social group. Further, the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on class climate, environment and atmosphere. It describes the adaptation course and defines its aims as well. The practical part of the thesis contains a description and an analysis of questionnaires that were assigned to the first year classes of the four-year grammar schools in the early days of the school year 2011/2012 and in the beginning of November the same year. Based on the analysis of questionnaires, this part also deals with identifying differences among these classes. It points out that the differences among these classes are small but, nevertheless, the adaptation courses are of benefit to the whole class.
Business simulation game design and its relevance for business education

Master's thesis concerns itself with a design of a brand new business simulation game. The first part defines business simulation games as a specific form of educational activity and describes their individual components. The second part is fully dedicated to design. It specified goals and requirements for the proposed software application and economic model of the game and describes ways to implement them. The design focuses on technical aspects of the game, on defining specific algorithms for the model to use and on implications of relationships among variables in the proposed model.
Using Art Play for Deepening Selected Themes in the VYTAX Youth Programme

The main focus of this master?s thesis is to bring forward and describe the scope of options of how, with the help of fine arts and implementation of experiential pedagogy, young people are creatively aided in processing and grasping variety of topics of the motivational educational program VYTAX, that has as its primary goal to stimulate youth to active involvement in the church. In the theoretical section of this work, the author has attempted to explain the terms relevant to the program itself as they relate to the church and subsequently to clarify the basic ideological direction of the given program in the context of today?s postmodern era. The author places emphasis not only on the program and techniques, but most of all on the pivotal value and impact of quality pedagogical leadership of given collective of young people. In the practical section, the author proposes concrete treatment of 10 topics of the VYTAX program. The scope of topics regarded range from themes of personal spirituality to subjects that not only apply to integration to the church community, but also describe the course of implementation of motivational appeals that will lead participants to an active, creative integration into the church family.
The difference of a stage of development of a pubescent and an adult with application of the experential education.

The thesis is dealing with the comparison of differnces of evolutional specialities between a teenage individual (a pubescent) and an adult with application of learning by experince (experential education). The differences which are described in the thesis are related to principles of experential education. The aim of this thesis is to provide with a picture of advantages as well as risks of experiential methods applied to individuals of both development stages. The first chapter specifies experiential learning with the focus on generally valid objectives and principles. The second section is concerned with the pubescent period. It mainly focuses on the personality development, cognitive processes, an identity, a socialization, an experience, a peer group. The third chapter is dealing with the same evolutional aspects but of adults. In the last chapter there are mentioned the differences of stage of development of both groups applying the experential education.

In the theoretic part of my work I am explaining concept of competence, I am adverting to connection between key competences and Lisbon process, I am limiting competences in General educational program for preschool education and in the supporting health curriculum of kindergarten. I am dealing with methods, which are leading to develop key competence to learning. The practical part of my work is based on realization of made experimental program, which is developing key competence to learning. This program can serve as enrichment of education offer of preschool educators by development of competence to learning.
Experiential Learning in Adaptive Courses at Southbohemian Secondary Schools

The work si focused on the experietial learning and its use in adaptive courses at southbohemian secondary schools. First two chapters above all describe the history and present of experiential learning, bring key words and introduce its principles and elements. The third chapter is practical and tries to sketch the realization of adaptive courses in practice. It is based on the survey using guestionnaires focused on e.g. use of games, feedback, motivation instruments, principles of experiential learning etc. These guestionnaires were sent to secondary schools in South Bohemia, that adaptive courses organize. These courses has been organized shortly in the Czech Republic. However, their use is still being extended, which helps mainly children coming from basic to secondary schools to make this transition easier.
