On two expressions of negative mental state (hatred, fear)
Nejedlý, Petr
There is no indisputable recorded evidence of a fundamental non-negative form of the Old Church Slavic and Slavic verb nenaviděti (it is necessary to revise some opposite views in this respect). Later records of the verb naviděti can be, from the semantic point of view, explained rather as prefi xed derivatives of viděti. Nenaviděti had therefore in all likelihood originated as an artifi cially created denotation of an abstract concept based on the spheres of Christian doctrine. 2. As primarily Old Czech records indicate, the word family of the Slavic verb plašiti contains the IE root *pel-, the initial meaning of which is one of motion: 'chase, run aft er'. The sememe '(rapid/hasty) motion' needs to be considered as fundamental for already the earliest stages of Slavic languages; the sememe 'fright, fear' is – along with the corresponding intransitive verbs – secondary.

Problematic nurses´behaviour in care for patients in the sanatorium with long-term sick people
TAUCHENOVÁ, Jana
The theoretical part of bachelor´s work is devided into five separate chapters. Sanatoriums with long-term sick people are described in the first chapter, the attention is paid to offered care, its quality and to the type of patients as well who are hospitalized here. The second part deals with an explanation of a term general nurse, it analyses her personality, role, workload and relation with patients. The third chapter defines a term patient, it focuses on patient´s role and also position in the sanatorium with long-term sick people. The fourth chapter deals with nurses´ behaviour itself, that is defined as productive and nonproductive behaviour including professional nurses´ behaviour which is bases on the Ethical codex. The fifth chapter is devoted to communication in nursing because communication belongs to the basic nurses´ skills and it pervades through the whole care. The communication is devided into verbal and nonverbal. Further there is described the interpersonal communication. Chapters devoted to communication with a patient and relatives finish the theoretical part. To map out nurses´ behaviour in the point of view of patients hospitalized in the sanatorium with long-term sick people and relied on the care of nursing staff is the first aim in my bachelor´s work. The second aim is to map out nurses´ behaviour in the point of view of relatives and close friends of patients who are hospitalized in the sanatorium with long-term sick people. The method of qualitative research, that was realized by dialogues, was chosen for the research. The necessary details were gained through a dialogue with patients in the sanatorium with long-term sick people and with their relatives and friends. Through the questions it was found out which nurses´ behaviour the patients consider to be problematic and how the nurses´ behaviour in the sanatorium with long-term sick people impresses the patients in general. The connection between patient´s age and caring nurses´ behaviour was studied as well. The dialogues with relatives concentrated on the fact which nurses´ behaviour relatives consider to be problematic. The interviews were held in a sanatorium with long-term sick people in the Pilsen region. There is not mentioned the exact name of the institution with respect to preserve the interviewed anonymity. The dialogues were written on the paper because the wish of questioned people not to use any recording appliance was respected. The copies of them are on CD and they are a part of bachelor´s work. The research was completed with watching nurses´ approaches to patients in the sanatorium with long-term sick people in caring. The difference of ideas of patients and relatives about nurses´ behaviour that is considered to be problematic follows from analysis of obtained information. The patients and relatives identically classified the shortage of respect of patients´ intimacy and privacy in caring, especially during evacuation, to be problematic. Noisiness, firmness and persistence of not only nurses but also of ancillary staff were classified as another problematic thing in caring behaviour. It was also refered to improper nurses´ behaviour to patients on night duties. The lack of empathy in offered care, not respecting of patients´ laws and not keeping nurses´ ethical codex and the ethical codex of workers in not medical professions as well are the common thing of these results. All these results were confirmed by watching nurses during their care for patients. The watching also confirmed the connection between patient´s age and nurses´ behaviour during offered care. My bachelor´s work offered a view of problems of nurses´ behaviour to patients in the sanatorium with long-term sick people. The found facts will be treated as the base for internal seminar of given sanatorium that will be held in operating meetings of nursing staff.

Analýza stavu a vývoje obnovy lesa na ŠP Valšovice
Fiedor, Jaroslav
The work is devoted to the evaluation of the status and trends of the SP Valšovice. The forest regeneration was evaluated according to the economic records and field research. On the base of the LHO there have been, for the last 10 years, researched: the state and development of tree species, the proportion of trees in the regeneration, the increase of game damages to forests, the development of costs of protecting cultures and particularities of the extreme locations. In the ŠP Valšovice, the most represented tree species is beech (38%), followed by spruce (28%) and larch, which represents 15% of the LHC area. There is a significant decline in the representation of spruce in ten years, which is almost 5%. For the regeneration, the most applied is beech (59%), followed by spruce (20%), oak (11%) and fir (6%). The share of natural regeneration is, on average 16.9%. As for the particular tree species, larch is naturally regenerated (100%), and beech (22%). Conversely JD is regenerated only artificially. The major problem in reforestation represents the restoration of beech to calamity clearings and damages caused by game. In the case of calamity clearings, beech is replaced by other trees, especially oak. Damages caused by game are solved by increasing the surface treated with paint, building better fences at a rather smaller area and increasing hunting based on authorization from the competent government authority. Crops with good conditions for natural recovery, it is necessary to plan regeneration mining for seminal year. For the incidental mining, I recommend to favor group selection.

Vaccination - yes or no? Public perception of the benefits of vaccines
Chudomelová, Iva ; Drda Morávková, Alena (advisor) ; Jelínek, Michael (referee)
Thanks to the vaccination were saved millions of lifes around the world, but this topic raises some controversy. Many European countries abolished the obligatory tuberculosis vaccination. The main argument was steadily decreasing incidence of infectious diseases and burdening BCG vaccination for the newbors and more adverse reactions detected in recent years. The cause of their formation is probably connected with other antigens. The downtrend in the incidence of TB is recorded only in some states, mainly in Western Europe. With respect to the current demographic situation and legal or illegal migration, it is continue necessary to take this disease seriously and to investigate the new vaccination strategies.
