The legal regulation of social security in Czechoslovakia before WWII and its legacy for the present time

Social security legislation in times of first Czechoslovak republic and its contribution for the present time The object of this diploma thesis is to inform the reader about development of social legislation in time of the first Czechoslovak Republic and present author's views on contribution of this legislation to present time. The first Czechoslovak Republic was founded after First World War at October 28th 1918. The legislation of this republic was taken from Austria - Hungary monarchy and so was the social legislation. Part of these laws was taken over and then was amended and the other part was newly created but based on previous legislation. According to this fact the very beginning of the thesis discusses social security and organizational structure of social administration in Austria - Hungary, which began to form in the late 19th century. The next chapter deals with laws govern unemployment benefits. After the establishment of the Czechoslovak republic there was the unemployment benefits direct from the state, but in 1925 different law came into force. It was insurance system well known as ghent system. This system meant that unemployment benefits were provided by trade unions only to their unemployed members and in accordance with law state provided financial contributions to these unemployment...

The goal of my bachelor's thesis was to explain process conveyance of real estate open to bribery whether recording to real estate register or not. I define the bond and materially legal effects of a contract related to the transfer of real estates and describe mechanism of record to cadastral deposit. In practical part of my thesist I compare safe keeping of money by notary, lawyer, bank and estate agency with each other.

Differences in the structure of non-life insurance in the Czech and Slovak Republic

Bachelor's thesis on the topic of 'Differences in the structure of non-life insurance in the Czech and Slovak Republic' is divided into five parts. The first part focuses on the legal framework of both countries with emphasis on technical reserves and insurance agents. Further it continues with the characteristics of non-life insurance structured depending on the form of insurance, ie. the insurance construction, and also depending on types of risks for non-life insurance of persons, property and liability. One of the most important activities of an insurance company is included in the penultimate chapter headed 'The Settlement of Claims'. A description of the various stages of the process of liquidation and differences in liquidation of certain types of non-life insurance is also included. The last part is devoted to the analysis of differences of insurance markets in the Czech and Slovak Republics.

Algoritmy pro detekci plagiátů u programů a textů

V práci se snažím zachytit celé prostředí spojené s legální a ilegální tvorbou textů a především pak s algoritmy, které umožňují odhalovat plagiáty. Veškerá potřebná data byla získána pomocí rešerše informačních zdrojů dostupných volně na internetu. Hlavní přínos práce vidím v komplexním pojetí problémové oblasti. Je popsán právní pohled na problematiku, příčiny vedoucí ke vzniku plagiátů. Uvedeny jsou i postupy správných citací a uvádění zdrojů. Největší část práce se pak zabývá konkrétními metodami plagování a možnostmi jejich odhalení pomocí známých algoritmů ? jednak u textů psaných běžným jazykem, jednak psaných speciálními jazyky programovacími. Zmiňuji se také o možnosti využití metadat při hledání plagiátů. Celá práce je rozdělena do několika kapitol. Každá se zabývá určitou oblastí ? terminologie, právo, citace, algoritmy odhalování plagiátů textů, programů, metadata a překlady.

The aim of this thesis is also to analyse the case law of the ECJ and the court regarding the likelihood of confusion on basis of which the Czech courts often decide. The thesis defines consumer protection law in the Czech Republic and compares it with italian law. The subject of this comparison is the substance of the law clauses but also the overall level of legal protection, consistency, system and comprehensibility of the laws and quality of european directives implementation. The thesis is divided into chapters - definitions, information, advertising, consumer contracts, safety and quality of products and consumer associations. In the conclusion some potential changes that could be made to czech system, based on good experience in Italy, are suggested.

in English The purpose of this master's thesis is to introduce a reader into some legal aspects of foreign investment in Australia. And especially those which can be crucial for a foreign investor when contemplating about investing in Australia. The thesis is divided into 6 chapters. The first chapter introduces the topic of foreign investment and the thesis itself. The second chapter familiarizes with the key terms in international investment law, namely, investor (both a natural and legal person) and investment (in economic and legal sense). The third chapter describes the legal framework governing foreign investment in Australia. It provides an overview of domestic and also international legislation. This thesis is aimed at specific questions of conflict rules of the international family law. Specifically, it focuses on the conflict law rules of matrimonial law with an international element. It takes into account the domestic, as well as the international regulation and regulation of the European Union. The thesis is divided into eight chapters. It starts with an introduction, which is followed by the second chapter which deals with the concept of international family law and its sources. The third chapter devoted to a general explanation of the conflict rules including the most significant related terms, such as determining factor or public order. The fourth chapter is aimed at the legal regulation of concluding a marriage with respect of the conflict rules determining the law applicable in case of capacity to conclude a marriage, its validity and form. Selected legal issues of international passenger transport The topic of the diploma thesis is 'selected legal issues of international passenger transport'. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the issues of substantive law related to the liability of carriers and rights of passengers in the international rail, road and air transport. The thesis focuses on applicable legislation of liability of carriers and rights of passengers, but also deals with the legislation proposed pro futuro. The diploma thesis is divided into seven chapters, further divided into subchapters. In the introduction the thesis defines the term 'international passenger transport' and summarises its key legal sources. Further, it addresses the conflict of law rules applicable to the contract on international passenger transport. The core of the thesis is in the following chapters that deal with the direct substantive rules governing the liability of carriers and rights of passengers in individual types of transport, which are contained especially in multilateral international conventions and secondary legislation of the European Union. 1 Abstract This Master's thesis entitled Legislation on treating animals in human care compares Czech and Australian legislation in selected aspects of three categories of animals in human care - farm animals, companion animals and animals used for scientific and other research purposes. The thesis is composed of 5 main chapters. The first chapter describes sources of law regarding treating animals in human care from the perspectives of international law, European Union law, federal Czech law and Australian law. The second chapter explains basic terms - an animal and its legal status and animal in human care in Czech and Australian legislation. The third chapter focuses specifically on farm animals as a category of animals in human care as it is detailed in Czech and Australian legislation. The fourth chapter deals with companion animals in both countries' legislation.
