Television Newscasts as a Communication Situation
Crnovršaninová, Zina ; Machová, Svatava (advisor) ; Vybíral, Petr (referee)
The TV news service is a communication situation with many specifics. This study is trying to analyse four main components of communication - the productor, the recipient, the code and the message. It based on the analysing of the TV news services of three Czech TV channels in four days (March, the 28 th. - April, the 1 st.). There are a few subjects (journalist, editor's office, medium, advertiser, politicians, state system), which actively participate in a production of the TV news. Each of them has a special communication intention, which is not transparent to the recipient. The main intention of medium is to offer the programme, which would be recieved by most recipients. This approach changes the quality of the TV news. It is based on principles of infortainment. Meaning of the message is created by the coexistention of the view and the spoken language. It is not possible to choose and present events objectively. Journalists have many ways to supplement their commentary to a the TV news. The recipient is a mass, which has it's own specifics. The effect of communication isn't direct, because recipient interprets meanings of the message with his community. The TV news services are popular in our region. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Role of school inspection and internal evaluation of schools in the process of school development
Actor partnership on stage and in front of the camera
Koudela, Jakub ; SCHEJBAL, Milan (advisor) ; PAVELKA, Tomáš (referee)
The subject of the thesis is exploration of actors’ interplay both on the stage and in front of a camera, because only common acting of the main characters creates a dramatic situation. In connection with this topic, at first I determine elementary characteristics of the actors’ partnership with all its important objectives that the actor should notice. I am trying to see acting as a social activity and further write about the contact between the actor and auditorium and the actors themselves. Then I relate actors’ partnership to other acting practice and thus prove its presence in the whole art of acting. In the conclusion I deal with negative influence of actors’ interplay due to blocking the actor’s creativity and I look for means of removing those blocks. In terms of these topics I enclose my personal experience as a proof of my theoretical reasoning.

More effective approaches of brown coal post-mining restoration
Christov, Ivan ; Hendrychová, Markéta (advisor) ; Walmsley, Alena (referee)
The thesis is focused on evaluation of landscape restoration procedures. The land was heavily devastated by large-scale quarrying. Here are compared reclamation procedures used in the Czech Republic and abroad. Study area is the North Bohemian brown coal basin, which formed areas valuable for many endangered species of flora and fauna after the mining has ended. Surface coal mining method causes the extinction of villages, roads, railways, land and greenery. Our task now is to minimalize these effects as much as possible. To create a new landscape, with an emphasis on the environment. Reclamation helps us to do that. Monitored location is Střimická dump, where the representation of non-productive habitat was evaluated and there was proposed new, more efficient version of reclamation. Mapping has found that the current state of the dump is 5,2 % representation of non-productive habitat. The proposed variant represents the addition of new elements and thus increase the proportion to 23,5 %, which corresponds with the current trend of post-mining landscape recovery.
