Payroll accounting

Diploma thesis deals with the issue of payroll accounting. Payroll accounting is modulated by wide range of legislation. The main goal is to create a comprehensive picture of how wages are calculated and what changes in this area occurred in 2007 - 2009. The individual chapters are examples, which tries to introduce the method of calculating wages. In a separate chapter describes how to calculate wages in a particular company.

Music and Media. The Music Components Analyse of the Commercials in electronical media

Music is important component in media communication. In this thesis I put forward concrete questions of the relation of music and medial area products, such as audiovisual media advertisement are. Music is no separable part of spots in television commercial and I am interested in its inner musical structures, its meaning and a rate of human being impact. The thesis is divided into two sections: theoretical section and empirical one. The theoretical section is based on definition descriptions of music and advertising: music tone qualities, semiotics principle of score, musical advertisement and its legal regulations in Czech Republic, time in media message and characteristics of advertisement types. The second chapter of the theoretical section is aimed at a formal presentation of music in media and music communication strategies; in the last chapter of the theoretical part of the thesis I investigate sign structures which are typical phenomenon in the field of media messages. In the empirical section I analyzed random selected one hundred television spots broadcast in the Czech Republic in 2005. Analysis of periodical press in the Czech Republic from the year 1989 up to the present

In its first chapter, the thesis deals with the analysis of the changes in the Czech daily and regional newspapers and magazines' owners. The second and the third chapter analyse both verbally and graphically changes in sold number of copies and reading of these periodicals in the years 1989 - 2008. Conclusions of the analyses are presented separately for selected segments of periodicals: daily newspapers, regional newspapers, women's magazines, social magazines, exclusive magazines, magazines about computers and IT, news-journalistic magazines and economic weeklies. The last chapter justifies the reached output of the analyses.

Topical issues of the regulation of international air carriage: the liability of an air carrier with respect to passengers

This thesis deals with those issues in regulation of international air carriage, which are in the centre of interest of passengers. Author focuses on two key legal instruments establishing different regimes of air carrier's liability. The first one is the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air, also known as the Montreal Convention. The second is European regulation no. 261/2004, also known as the Air Passengers' Rights Regulation. The key question is whether these liability regimes are completely separate or they overlap. After introductory chapter, Chapter 2 follows, dealing with historical development of legal regulation in the field of air carriage liability. Evolution of the so called Warsaw system is described and the Montreal Convention and some of the most important European regulations are presented. Next chapter focuses on theoretical aspects of air carrier's liability in the light of Czech civil law jurisprudence. These findings are applied both to the Montreal Convention and to the regulation no. 261/2004. Provisions of the Montreal Convention are examined in Chapter 4. Needs of the patients on intensive care units

The goal of this work was to describe the subjective needs of critically ill patients, including descriptions of patients' experiences when these needs are not met. Questionnaire method of research was used. Evaluation was separated on surgical and non-surgical patients. Whole number was 54 patients. Results: 55.6% pacients felt pain, 42.6% felt difficulties of breathing, 31.5% pts. felt discomfort with stool, 20.4% felt difficulties with washing on bed, 31.5% pts. had bad selection of foods 31.5%, 40.7% felt alarm from failure treatment, fear about life felt 33.3% pts., fear of future 44.4% pts and missing contact with families felt 29.6% pts. Conclusion: Regarding life-threatening ilnesses in ICU patients was number of their negative feelings relatively low. Nevertheless is necessary to nurses improve care about needs of patients in serious or life-threatening conditions.

Analysis of finacial products for funding of houshold's financial needs

The structure of tjs bachelor work is divided in 3 separate parts. I am describing particular financial needs of a general household in the first chapter. The second chapter contains details of developing sufficient financial sources and reserves for retirement by way of financial products, which include supplementary insurance and pension funds. The last part describes means of protecting health hazard using various private insurance modifications.

Non-contractual legal institutions of the use of copyrighted work

- English The topic of my thesis is limitations and exceptions to copyright. It describes the ways of use of copyright without author's consent. Specifically, I talk about the free work, free use and statutory licences. The provisions must always be interpreted in accordance with the three-step test described in a separate chapter. I focus especially on issue of orphan works. Of course, I also deal with an issue of copyright in general and its sources.

The European patent

This master thesis deals with the European Patent System. The aim of this thesis is to provide the reader with a complex review of the Patent Law at the european level from its early beginning, when in the 70's was signed the European Patent Convention at the Munich Diplomatic Conference, up to the present. The thesis is systematically divided into five chapters and each chapter also contains several subchapters. The first chapter is dedicated to historical development of the European Patent. In the second chapter there is a brief description of the European Patent Convention and its two most important revisions. The third, most extensive chapter is dedicated to the European Patent Organisation which was founded in 1977 on the legal basis of the European Patent Convention. I deal especially with its two fundamental bodies - the European Patent Office and the Administrative Council. There is also a definition of the term of patentability as it is regulated by European Patent Convention and a characteristic of the European Patent Application. A separate subsection of the third section focuses on the patent granting procedure in front of the European Patent Office. Capital adequacy of banks

This work concentrates on the issue of capital adequacy of banks. Inadequate capital base of the banking sector is often referred to as one of the causes of the latest financial crisis. Such topic is currently very actual. Even banking regulators pay high attention to this topic. In my thesis I focus on legal and economic aspects of this topic. It is typical for the banking sector that banks operate with much more leverage effect than enterprises belonging to other sectors. Therefore, I focus on the root cause of this phenomenon in the third chapter. I assess the bank indebtedness using the theory of optimal capital structure and I also address the relations between economic and regulatory capital. In the fourth chapter I focus on the concept of capital adequacy and its comparison with leverage indicator. The next chapter concentrates on the development of regulatory minimum capital adequacy standards developed by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, known as Basel I and Basel II. The last but one chapter focuses on the latest regulatory rules Basel III governing the capital adequacy of banks and their legal implementation. Jak velikost habitatu ovlivňuje společenstvo koprofilního hmyzu?

The effect of dung pat size on structure of dung inhabiting insect community was studied in Central Europe. Specifically all insect inhabiting the dung pat was targeted including both beetle and fly families. Abundance and species richness were positively correlated with increasing habitat volume. Density was negatively correlated with habitat size which represents low density refugee effect. Temporally co-occurring species which utilize the resource in similar way were separated by preferences for different habitat volumes.
