Respite Care Service as Partial Form of Social Support of Families with Children with Intellectual Disabilities

This dissertation is concentrates on the problems of respite care provided to families of children with mental disabilities. In tries to outline situation of families which ceaselessly take care of their most vulnerable members. The main goal of my work is characterization of these services, firstly on the general level, and secondly it describes the development of these services and the Act about Social Services, which it does primarily from the point of view of the providers through questionnaire survey. My work aims to gather information from providers of care from the whole of the Czech Republic a thus aspires to collect data which would show the possibility to influence the quality of the services provided. By this, my work tries to contribute into the field of the respite care, which target group are children with mental disability.

The following dissertation is concentrated on giving the reader a clear view o the subject of autistic condition through three disciplines - psychiatric, psychological and educational. Greater attention is paid to the available complex care, given to families with autistic members. The practical part observes the relationships between parents, doctors, psychologists and teachers during the holistic care of an autistic individual, with more attention paid during the age of compulsory education.

Pastoral and Missionary Service for Police Members of the Czech Republic

This dissertation paper analyzes the spiritual services within the law enforcement organizations of the Czech Republic, the specialized biblical and theoretical foundation of such services, the historical frame of the Church entering the law enforcement, the problems of curing psychological stress in law enforcement jobs, and the spiritual services currently rendered to the law enforcement officers. The conclusion summarizes the information processed and examines the future development of the issues involving the spiritual care rendered to the law enforcement officers under the provisions of a modern society.

Prevention of iatrogenic harm to seriously ill patient caused by inappropriate communication

After finding a serious disease with a person's life completelychanged. ill one must abandon much of their previous life. Due to disease progression and treatment must leave or reduce their working lives, the way ofleisure time varies considerably and relationships with family and friends.From day to day usual way of life in uncertainty. A sick man who is afraid of its life, suddenly finds himself in an unfamiliar hospital environment,where they must comply -established rules, undergoing treatment are often uncomfortableand restrict their rights to privacy and intimacy. The patient in his uncertainty is dependent on staff that takes care of him. If not sufficiently informed about their health, or to staff it behaves insensitively, which patients in Czech hospitals still perceive there may be a kind of iatrogenic damage patients with adverse consequences for his mental condition whichmay persist even after treatment.

62 MEMBERS OF INDIVIDUAL TYPES OF BUSINESS COMPANY The thesis concentrates on the following other than proprietary rights and duties of a member of Business Company: loyalty duty, right of the member to participate in governance of the Business Company, duty to follow the ban on competition, due diligence duty. The first chapter is introducing the reader into the topic by explaining the basic concepts with which the legal regulation in the field of status of the member in the company is working with. The accent is laid on the concept of Business Company and its member and on the basic division of Business Companies into the groups according to their characteristics. The next chapter is dealing with the individual chosen rights and duties of member in the company. First part concerns loyalty duty, which is the base of the individual duties of members in Business Companies. The attention is paid above all to the content of this duty and further to the intensity of which this duty applies in the individual types of Business Companies. In the next part of the chapter the attention is paid to the right of a member to participate in governance of the Business Company. Treatment Complications in Dual Diagnosis - Eating Disorder and Alcohol Addiction

Bachelor's case study named "Treatment complications in dual diagnosis "eating disorder/alcohol addiction" highlights the issue of treatment of dual diagnosis. The main goal of the study is to contribute to scientific discussion heading towards the creation of specialized departments and systems of care for the treatment of dual diagnosis. Collected information - both of the literature search and the case studies - show that the issue of dual diagnosis' eating disorders and addiction to alcohol is quite extensive. At the same time, this dual diagnosis is a great complication of treatment. It is an important finding that due to available information there has been no specialized integrated workplace for the treatment of this specific dual diagnosis in the Czech Republic yet..

Mentally-Retarded Children of a Pre-School Age and the Development of Movement Skills

The diploma work covers the issues of children with mental retardation in pre-school age aimed to the development of the movement abilities. It focuses on the relationships between the pre-school child with mental retardation and possibilities of developing its motor skills in context of an organized pre-school education. Theoretical part of the Diploma work indicates the development specifics of the indi- vidual due to mental retardation, describes mainly the movement development of the child with mental retardation, its specifics and possibilities of observation. It addresses the history and current stage of an organized pre-school care of children with mental re- tardation and within the issue, it points out the position of physical training / education within the educational process of the Kindergarten. Practical part proves on cases of children with mental retardation the uniqueness and typicality of development of such children. By the proposed possible motion activities and games for children with mental retardation attending Kindergarten, its aim is to em- phasize on the importance and ineligibility of intentional development of motor skills, and by that also of the whole personality of the child with mental retardation. Recruitments have to be doing with all due carefulness in order to reckruite the best possible employee. Acquisition of new people has to be well planned and done because capable employees are one of the most important competitive advantages.

International survey of state and reforms in health insurance system in member states of the European Union

This bachelor work observes present international survey of state and reforms in health insurance system in member states of the European Union. The work deals with current situation of sickness pay, maternity pay, paternity pay and financial support for caring of family member in member states of the European Union. There are introduced conditions for claim on payment, amount of payment, duration of supporting and waiting period. This is elaborated from views of employees and employers. Bigger attention is aimed for conditions in the Czech Republic a comparison with states of the European Union. I used analysis and comparison during working on this work. In conclusion, there will be showed which international experience would be appropriate to use for reform of healthy insurance in the Czech Republic.

Changes in corporate governance regarding private law recodification

The primary aim of this thesis is to conduct a comparative analysis of the former and the current private law regulations concerning governance of joint-stock companies. What this thesis mainly focuses on are practical impacts of the change and problematic areas which are uncertain to interpret. This work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical application. The former deals with the definition of the term corporate governance, theoretical bases of corporate governance and governance models and theories. In the latter the most fundamental changes brought by the recodification are taken into consideration, these being the possibility of choice between monistic and dualistic corporate governance systems, adaptation to the new regulations and the changes regarding the statutory representative. In this section, the thesis comments on the terms due care and and business judgement rule.
