Design of the bridge in the town Blansko

This diploma thesis deals with the proposal of a single box girder bridge of three spans in the town Blansko. It bridges the river Svitava and the main railway Praha - Brno. The calculations were carried out by hand, the model was created in the Scia Engineer programme. The thesis also describes the solving of a complicated phased construction with the necessity of turning the bridge into the final position. The construction is considered by Eurocodes.
Static securing of Ludslavice church

This thesis is drafting static protection church horizontal pretension, especially at the level of foundations and walls. Furthermore, the design of a new increase the stiffness of reinforced concrete towers and other prestress. The role was also producing construction drawings for the design of static security.
Precast concrete frame building of shopping centre

The diploma thesis is focused on the design and review of selected load-bearing elements of the precast hall. Girder is dimensioned in two variants: reinforced and prestressed concrete. Design and assessment of prestressed girder was carried out using the simplified method and the IDEA statica. Column and footing was also dimensioned. All calculations are done in accordance with Eurocode 2.
Analysis of the existing bridge structure

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the existing bridge structure and the subsequent determination of its load capacity according to the limit states of serviceability and load capacity. The bridge on the H1 circuit over the V1 branch has a main superstructure consisting of IS-73 prestressed beams and was built in 1993. The calculation was grasped in two ways, namely by manual calculation on a single IS-73 beam or by converting it to an orthotropic slab.
Design of concrete structure of the Letná hotel in Prague

The presented master thesis contains the design of selected elements of the supporting structure of the Letná congress hotel. The thesis deals with the design of a six-storey hotel cantilever over 20 m long, which rises over the entrance portals of the Blanka tunnel complex. Moreover, the specificity of the whole project is the necessity to carry out the entire construction of the mentioned part without touching the ground. The described problem was solved primarily using two double to 3 m high prestressed concrete beams. One pair of beams is designed above the roof plane and the other below the plane of the first floor in the cantilever. The tensile forces induced in the vertical supports are transferred by the prestressed columns and with the help of the walls. Construction without ground contact is carried out using suspension on temporary hangers. In the present thesis work, the main beam of the cantilever H1, D1, reinforced concrete slabs of given levels forming the T-section flange of the main beams, the spread walls, the transverse walls under the transversal frames with the main beams and the respective columns have been designed. SCIA Engeneer 22.0, Idea StatiCa Beam 22.0, Idea StatiCa Detail 22.0, PTC MathCad Prime 8, and MS Office 360 Excel 2022 were used to solve this complex construction stage-dependent problem.

Diploma thesis is focused on structural assessment and strengthening of the reinforced concrete flor slab disturbed by excessive deflection. Thesis included assesment of the existing construction and design method of strengthening of the floor structure with system using prestressing strands without bond.
One span tee beam bridge

The goal of this bachelor Thesis is to design a single span road bridge. The bridge will transfer a road of a S7,5 category over local river. Three possible variations were designed, from which option A will be used for further design and calculations. This bridge is a monolithic single-girder post-prestressed construction with a span of 24 m. The structure has been calculated for the ultimate limit state and the service limit state. The calculations of the load effects were done manually as well as in software Scia Engineer 19.1.
Prestressed concrete slab

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the design and analysis of one-span, perpendicular bridge across the river. Two preliminary studies have been designed and one of them was selected as the most appropriate solution and then further elaborated in more detail. The selected one was prestressed trapezoidal slab with the span of 21 meters. The load effects were calculated using a manual calculation and a program Scia Engineering and then compared. The assessment of ultimate and serviceability limit state was done by manual calculation according to current valid standards.
Slab bridge over the local stream

The subject of this bachaleor’s thesis is a design road slab bridge with one – spane over the local stream. Span of construction is 19 m. Geometry of the bridge was chosen from 3 studies. Bridge deck is make of prestressed concrete. Calculation of load effect was made in SCIA Engineer 18.1. Slab was structural assessment on ultimate limit state and ultimate serviceability state using MS Excel. Finally was made drawing documentation and vizualization.
Design of the single span bridge in Vražné

The subject of bachelor thesis is a design of single span bridge in Vražné. Within the scope of thesis there are three studies of bridge. Cast-in-place concrete slab super structure was found appropriate and further calculations were assessed. Length of span is 15,00 m. Internal forces were provided by SCIA Engineer and checked with manual calculation. The supporting structure was assessed for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. Calculations were made according to valid standards and regulations.
