Simplex algorithm in projecting the production

The aim of this thesis was to apply the simplex algorithm in designing the production. Simplex algorithm was used in the case study, which focused on the farm with crop and livestock production. Production is made up of grown crops and livestock. Maximization objective function was formed to gain (or loss) on commodity production. The intention was to break down plant and animal production in order to get the most efficient way to use the area sown, which allowed me a case study.

This bachelor work is to review a specific area of Příbram region. Purpose is analyse compoments of primary offering and secondary offering, needs a requirements of visitors and evaluate contributions and falls of tourism in Příbram region. Most importatnt part of work depends on questionnaire research, which was answered by visitors of this area. According to questi-form this work deals with reasons why visitors coming here, what are they doing here and if they are satisfied with local possibilities and services.

Thus, almost all activities of the companies require high-quality modeling of such customers’ consumptions in the period between two meter-readings. The paper discusses one of the most crucial key factors of the modeling: the used data, their accessibility and quality.

Regulation of tobacco consumption

The theme of this bachelor work is if regulation of tobacco are efficient and lead to decrease of cigarette consumption and another tobacco products. The work is focused on regulation with excise taxes which are one of the most important regulation tool. In theoretic part of the work are written the most common presented reasons and incentives for tobacco regulation and what is the impact on the population. The main part of the work is based on the theoretical part and tries to explain how is the consuption changing in time regarding the higher consumtion taxes. If those regulations have influence on demand for tobacco products and the demand declines.. This bachelor describes changes of official demand and does not treat the demand for tobacco products on black market. The goal of this work is to show if public and supranational institutions can decrease the tobacco products consumption with different regulation tools.
