Bullying in preschool children

This thesis deals with the issue of bullying in preschool children. Work will concentrate on theoretical findings from the literature on this topic. It focuses for children aged 3 6/7 years, both as a victim and aggressor. In the work is defined developmental stage of preschool age children. The following describes the various stages, forms and causes of bullying. Finally, there are also shown the consequences of bullying. The next part deals with the causes of aggressive behavior of children. Definition of terms and description of aggression in preschool children. In the final phase of work is solved the prevention of unwanted behaviors in children, its forms and possible solutions in the context of the kindergarten and family.
The Ventilation and Emotion Control of the Children in the Czech Krumlov Kindergarten

The thesis deals with the general subject "the ventilation and emotion-control of the pre-school age children". The theoretical part gathers from literal sources, includes key terms from the sphere of the development of the pre-school age child, emotions and terms which are involved and it particularly maps out pre-school age children's attitude to emotions. The practical part mentions the methods in the interventional program for the effective development of emotion ventilation regarding the pre-school age children. The target of the thesis was finding out some techniques of emotion ventilation and verifying how the techniques of emotion ventilation work on the chosen group of children. In order to meet those targets I used the following methods - interventional program, observing, interviewing, researching four pre-school age children from the Czech Krumlov kindergarten, that were chosen by chance. The first target is completed in the theoretical part where I mention the techniques of emotion ventilation and emotion-control found in professional literal sources. The other target is completed in the practical part of the thesis where the techniques of emotion ventilation are realized through the interventional program. Dramatic education in the leisure centers for mothers and children and its impact on the creativity of children

This thesis deals with the influence of drama education on the creativity of a child attending leisure facilities. The first part focuses on a brief history of drama, its components and genres. The thesis also deals with a comparison of drama and drama education, theatre education and its effects on the child's personality. It describes the personality of the teacher of leisure facilities, parent and child. The practical part is focused on one of the activities practised at the Children and Youth Centre in Jindřichův Hradec - Baby Club. Baby Club focuses on activities for parents and toddlers and preschool children and allows them to productively spend their leisure time together. The thesis further describes some of the activities and their impact on children, parents and teacher. The emphasis is given on the importance of all leisure facilities and activities that support children's creativity and shape their personality
Specifics of musical activities in kindergartens

My bachelor´s work includes musical activities in kindergartens. Theoretical part introduces the reader with the music, educational program and methods of musical activities in kindergartens. I added particular examples of the musical activities and the games, which could be used in the kindergartens. The aim of the bachelor´s work is to compare musical activities in Czech kindergartens with musical activities in Austrian kindergartens. For my research I chose questionnaire survey. The questionnaires were mailed to Czech and Austrian kindergartens. For better comparing the results were completed by my experience from practical studies in Czech and Austrian kindergartens.
Impact of unmarried cohabitation on their child from the kindergarten teacher's point of view

Bachelor thesis aims to determine the impact of unmarried cohabitation on a child from the viewpoint of kindergarten teachers. The second aim is to determine how children themselves perceive that their parents are married or in a marriage "without papers". The thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with unmarried cohabitation, marriage, child and family needs. The practical part presents the results of a qualitative survey, which is made in form of interviews. The main research question is: How do kindergarten teachers perceive the impact of unmarried cohabitation on a child, whether and how unmarried cohabitation manifests on a child in kindergarten? The research group consists of kindergarten teachers. The second research group consists of children of mixed-age classes. Using the method of group interview shows, what wedding means to them, whether and how they perceive differences connected with the surname. The research showed that preschool children, from the perspective of the teachers, do not perceive at all, whether their parents are married or unmarried. The important thing for them is that parents are together and behave lovingly to each other, as well as for them alone. This opinion was confirmed by interviews with children.
Personality of teachers in kindergarten

The object of this dissertation is to research the desired and prevailing personality traits of teachers in preschool institutions, and to explore their role, function and impact on society. In the first section of the work the main terms in regards to human personality and its structure are explained and the factors affecting the development of one?s personality are discussed. Furthermore the desired set of skills needed for this type of work are explained together with the different roles that a teacher in a preschool institution undertakes. In the research section of the work teachers in preschool institutions were asked to evaluate themselves in terms of their skills and the role they play. Practical examples of how they overcome job specific difficulties and challenges are given. Finally the issues of mental wellbeing and burn out syndrome are examined.
Motivation of Preschool Children to Art Activities

This bachelor´s thesis deals with different means of motivation to artistic activities which are more or less suitable for the preschool children. The theoretical part, which is based on secondary literature, is focused on key terms of preschool child development. These are motivation, graphomotorics, experience-based learning and also last but not least artistic expression. In the practical part a set of pairs of artistic activities were designed. These activities were distinguished from each other by different means of motivation which was applied on the specific sample of children. By using research methods, observation and product analysis, the subsequent evaluation of the artistic pair was carried out. Concluding part is concerned with summary of conclusions and the photo documentation is added to this work.
The development of intercultural competences of children of pre-school age focused on growth of perceptiveness towards the different kinds of environment.

The main aim of this work is to suggest an educational offer for development of intercultural competences of pre-school children with focus on development of their sensitivity towards different enviroments. The theoretical part characterises the child of pre-school age and clarifies the term learning at nursery school. It also focuses on intercultural psychology, intercultural training and the role of a teacher at acquiring intercultural competences of children. The practical part is divided into six parts field-tested with pre-school children. In the last part all the activities are summarized. There is also casuistry of sensitive perception of different parts of the Earth by children of the nursery school in Čejetice.
Mother on parental leave and child in kindergarten

This thesis deals with currently expanding phenomenon of placing children of mothers on parental leave in kindergarten. This work presents the basic theoretical background of the topic. It defines the contemporary family and its changes, meaning and function of the family, changes in the concept of motherhood and the role of mother, a preschool child, current kindergartens and current legislation regulating parental leave. The second part presents the results of a questionnaire survey among mothers on parental leave and kindergarten teachers. The investigation finds out the real reasons of mothers on parental leave for placing a child in kindergarten and how this phenomenon is seen by teachers at a kindergarten.
The daily regime of the preschool child after returning home from kindergarten, from the teachers' point of view

The aim of this bachelor work is to map the daily regime of a child as soon as she leaves the nursery school from the teacher?s point of view. The work contains two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part follows the specifications of preschool period and the children needs at this age. Then it deals with the daily regime and its main components and possible risks. It also touches the topic of different activities and education out of the nursery school. The practical part brings results of qualitative researches where I tried to find out any nursery school teachers? opinions the about the children?s daily regime and free time activities out of school. The research was made by interviews with 28 nursery school teachers. The outcome of the research is most children according to the teachers at least partly keep the daily regime. Teachers see the weaknesses in the field of active move which is very rare while watching TV is highly above the recommended limit.
