Svobodová, Soňa ; Stejskalová, Irena (advisor) ; Sysel, Jaroslav (referee)
In the MANN+HUMMEL (CZ), ltd. the general methodology for calculating the cost as the basis for the formation of prices was applied. The MANN+HUMMEL is 100% owned by the German concern MANN+HUMMEL GmbH. The main business is the manufacture of filters for all types of vehicles, internal combustion engines, compressors and others. In this work the information on a calculating model made up for the firm was compared to the basic literature. Another interesting issue is the program used by the firm for the calculation output. Further more, the impact of the method of cost calculating on the firm management was analysed. Two different types of calculation on a certain type of a product were used to contrast their economic effectiveness. On the basis of the results some modifications in the organizational structure and cost model of the company have been made.

Logistic process optimization
Machová, Marie ; Říhová, Zora (advisor) ; Věk, Jakub (referee)
Managing the process of a product's development prior to its release is the dominant theme of this graduation thesis. In today's modern turbulent world, businesses compete to be a strong force in the market arena. From start to finish it is necessary to keep the consumer's demands and wants as the driving force when managing the operation. Factors that are critical in the implementation of the operation are working with a manageable portfolio, forecasting unforeseen expenses, profit gains and losses. Purchasing the most recent and efficient software program or electronics to assist in the operation could be more effective but more expensive upfront. On the other hand, purchasing a complex program or electronics will be ineffective if the user is unable to comprehend its complete functions or abilities. Proper and thorough analysis is necessary in foreseeing all possible obstacles to a smooth operation. Presently, it is not uncommon for companies to implement new technology without previous analysis. The result is a rapidly growing demand for a product reliant on this technology to help produce or support it. As a result, they find themselves in a tight spot very soon. Resolving the issue consists of additional and extended analyses of changes and in the reimplementation of the technology, a process that can be slow and tap into an already tight budget. In conclusion, this dissertation surmises that documentation of and organized implementation of processes in a real manufacturing corporation is necessary to improve not only the quality of processes in support of reaching economic targets but also in assuring quality labour performances of all employees.

Comparison of non-commercial CASE tools for UML modelling
Janoušková, Irena ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
Subject of this bachelor thesis is comparison of non-commercial tools for UML modeling. The opening chapter is followed by brief description of the UML language in the second chapter. The fundamental mechanisms of the language and mainly the description of all the diagrams we are able to create by the help of UML are introduced here. Software development metodologies and their importance in the modeling process are also mentioned. Third chapter focuses on characteristics and classification of all CASE tools. General description of CASE tools is followed by the list of the best known UML modeling tools, both commercial and non-commercial. A description of four selected commercial products and their features is also added for illustration. Further in this chapter, you can find a list of several non-commercial applications for UML modeling. Seven of them are chosen for evaluation and comparison. Fourth chapter focuses on the multicriteria evaluation of alternatives and presents the methods used in this thesis. In this chapter we can also find the description of chosen criteria and subcriteria and determination of their weights. The fifth chapter aims at evaluation of the selected tools according to the chosen criteria. Calculated criteria values and overall evaluation according to the chosen multicriteria evaluation of alternatives method is presented in the sixth chapter. Results are listed in lucid table format. Tools are ordered by both the overall result and results of particular criteria, so that the reader can perceive the advantages and disadvantages of the evaluated products. In the epilogue I ruminate over the results and their explanatory value.

The work also contains an alternative view on the investment in the production sector, with the help of G. Reisman's GDR indicator. Finally, there are introduced others, not so well quantifiable factors that may also influence the formation and development of the investment cycle.

The Social Skills of Children with Mental Disabilities
Hrušková, Hedvika ; Hadj - Moussová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Duplinský, Josef (referee)
The present thesis focuses on social skills of children with intellectual disabilities (mental retardation), whereby the acquisition of such skills by these children can have a fundamental influence on their integration into society. The notion of social skills was developed on the basis of unstructured participating observation of interactions among children with intellectual disabilities. A group of children without disabilities was used for comparison. The theoretical chapter is aimed at discussing two topics: "social skills" and "intellectual disabilities". Their joint treatment in literature is difficult to find, thus the main information was drawn from the two separate topics. At first the thesis deals with the theoretical definition of social skills and their significance for the individual. The definitions and specific examples facilitated the formation of a notion of which areas are encompassed by this term. The connection between specific manifestations of social behaviour and prior personality development proved to be of great importance. The evolutionary perspective has confirmed such a connection, while at the same time a general idea emerged of what social skills necessary for social interaction a young child at an early school age should master. Social skills play an important role at school...

Some aspects of reinforced concrete slabs
Bartosch, Václav ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Zídek, Rostislav (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is a simple reinforced concrete ceiling construction which has a rectangular ground plan and it is locally supported by square columns. Plane models of the same board but with different types of support are made. The board is calculated by the classical method of summary moments to be checked and compared the results. The work focuses mainly on the process of bending moments at the point of support. Waveforms of moments in the adjoining fields are listed here for completion. The results of static models are compared with the results of the summary moments method. The final part of this work is focused on the waveforms of moments after the formation of cracks.

Kaisr, Jiří ; Čopík, Jan (advisor) ; Věra, Věra (referee)

The practical part is focused on the town of Klatovy: socioeconomic indicators, summary of election results since 1994, characteristics of local municipal policy during the election period since 2014 to 2018, self-government members and relationships between them, and their co-operation in the running of the municipality. Local political partisanship in a local government environment (town Kutná Hora)
Kučerová, Alena ; Čopík, Jan (advisor) ; Monika, Monika (referee)
The thesis deals with the local political party line in the environment of regional government. The work is focused on the town of Kutna Hora (Central Bohemia). The first part, the literature search, is the theoretical definition of basic concepts that deal with the local political party line in four categories according to the size of the municipalities. The most important is a definition of medium-sized municipalities, which corresponds to the currently investigated Kutna Hora. Then there is a definition of the characteristics of communal system, voting behavior and formation of municipal coalitions. The literature search is followed by the practical part, where there is the acquired theoretical knowledge applied to the local government of Kutna Hora. The focal point is based on the identification of local political participants (local organizations of political parties and other political organizations, interest groups, etc.), their electoral successes, the internal decision-making mechanisms, relationships and activities. The essential finding is that it´s not possible to apply expressly the assertion of Katz and Maira that the number of members of local organizations of political parties is steadily decreasing in western democracies, to the local government of Kutna Hora. The number of members in particular political entities of Kutna Hora is relatively high. Mutual relations of political entities of Kutna Hora however are based on personal sympathies and aversions. The local political system can be assessed as fully competitive, based on the principle of government and opposition.
