The aim of the thesis is to analyze chosen agricultural companies and thein relationship to municipalities in which they agriculturaly work. Demographic study and analysis of the selected farm were used to achieve the aim: a questionnaire focused on supplier-customer relations and an interview on the company's history and relationship to the municipality. At the end of the thesis, it results that influence of agricultural companies on rural development is not generalizable and it can not be seen only by an economic aspect. Emotional bondining to the place of business and the established social definition of rural areas play a role in agricultural companies.

The aim of submitted thesis is to evaluate impacts and influence of the Common Agricultural Policy od European Union on the current stadium and development of agriculture and countryside of the municipality with extended competence Uherský Brod. The firt part is about history of the Common Agricultural Policy, its instruments, finance and curent state of agricultural in the Czech Republic. The second part is about selected area, their physical geography and socio economic charakteristic. The thesis also analyses the evolution of the land use in the studied area, especially after 2000. The focus is set on the development of the agricultural and countryside aspects of the studied area after the Czech Republic entrance into the European Union. Then the thesis analyses financial supply from European Union to the studied area and to all Czech Republic. The thesis is based on questionnaires from small farmers, SWOT analysis of rural development in SO ORP area of Uherský Brod.

This diploma thesis Identity of the Landscape and Rural Development deals with sustainable development of countryside and preservation of landscape identity. In the beginnig is the thesis focused on cultural development of landscape. In the teoreticial part the thesis deals with problematics of landscape identity, rural development, landscape management and subsidy titles. The cadastral territory of village Sněžné was chosen for this thesis. Sněžné is located in the area of CHKO Žďárské vrchy. The analytical part researches the primary, secondary and tertiary landscape structure. The identity of landscape area, its values and issues are intended from this researche. The practical part offers suggestions on biotechnical and landscape measures and develops design of instructive trail.

The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the development of the territory that is not involved in community-led development. The introduction provides an overview of the concepts related to rural development and the Local Action Groups (LAGs). Emphasis is placed on different approaches to LAG support in individual programming periods. Subsequently, the dynamics of municipalities outside the scope of the local action groups for the period 2003-2016 are captured. Furthermore, spatio-temporal differences between municipalities in LAGs and outside of them are examined according to selected socio-economic indicators. Based on the results obtained, the benefits of LAG membership for municipalities and possible reasons of municipalities for non-involvement in LAG are discussed.
Strategic plan of the Zakřany municipality

KOZLOVÁ, P. Strategic Plan of the Zakřany Municipality. Diploma Thesis. Brno, 2019. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to design and develop a complete strategic plan for the municipality of Zakřany in a period of 2020-2025 including action plan for the first two years. In order to achieve the main goal, it is necessary to fulfill the individual solution steps including literature review, detailed situational analysis together with characteristic of the municipality, questionnaire survey among the municipality inhabitants and subsequent SWOT analysis. On the basis of the individual analyzes and the proposed strategic plan, it was concluded that the municipality is facing the lack of services and the slight deterioration of air quality. However, in spite of these minor problems, the citizens consider the life in the village to be very good, which leads to the conclusion that the municipality of Zakřany is a good place for life.
Roma on the Czech countryside: Determinants of exclusion, potentials for inclusion

The dissertation project Roma on the Czech countryside: Determinants of exclusion, potentials for inclusion deals with the situation of Roma in Czech rural municipalities. The starting motivation for the author's exploration of this topic has been information about the growing number of segregated localities in rural areas. In the local public discourses within the peripheral areas, this phenomenon has often been explained as the consequence of poverty-driven urban-rural migration. However, as the migration of socially excluded populations into disadvantaged areas stirs a lot of fears and negative emotions that provide a fertile ground for the spread of rumours, the author's preparatory research soon revealed that it is necessary to carefully distinguish between myths and reality. The author's desire to understand the complex processes behind the emergence of new Roma localities in rural areas required a combination of working methods: The author analysed the national policy and regulatory framework and realized empirical research in five micro-regions in different parts of the Czech Republic. Turismus ve venkovském prostoru - příklad obcí Švihov a Strážov

The main objective of the thesis was to find out current situation in tourism in two towns in Klatovy district and to compare these results with the potential of a place for tourism. Specifically, the towns were Strážov and Švihov, which are similar in population. The theoretical part contains the facts from literature related to tourism, rural area and rural tourism. In the research part both towns are characterized and these characteristics are supplemented with photos. The results of the survey for visitors and the results of the local inhabitants survey, as well as the interviews with the mayors are evaluated.
Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Local Action Groups in the Pilsen Region

Today's time period is renowned for a great percentage of people moving out from the cities to rural areas. One of many reasons is a better social and cultural environment of inhabitants. Local action groups (LAG), on which evaluation is focus in bachelor thesis, positively contribute to solving the stated issue. The main objectives are the evaluation and analysis of their activities in the matter of the Pilsen region. The theoretical part contains definitions of basic terms connected with the issues of local action groups on a national level. The identification of the local action groups in the range of the whole Czech Republic is focused on their reasons of commencement, legal terms regarded to them, history, and the possibilities for financing, a variety of activities and other characteristic features. Subsequently, the selected local action groups are analyzed as a major topic of this thesis. The practical part focuses on the evaluation which derives from nine local action groups located in the Pilsen region. The NS MAS evaluative scale is used for the evaluation. For the evaluation, certain indicators are selected like time for their establishment, amounts of members of the groups, financing, and other. Subsequently, a synthesis of the collected data, the very comparison, and evaluation of the effectiveness of functioning and benefits for the region is executed. Basic statistics is used to evaluate the outcomes and the outcomes are presented graphically. The conclusion of the thesis dedicates to strengths, weaknesses and other opportunities of operation of LAGs in the Pilsen region.
Factors for development of rural municipalities in Wallachia

The rural environment and its issues have become a center of interest in regional development quite recently. Due to its complex transformation over the last few decades, it must be cared for and developed further so that it can be enjoyed by future generations as well. Rural development should therefore be a complex process, focused on all the rural components that make it. To properly target rural development, it is necessary to identify the key factors that can make development possible. The identification of key development factors is closely related to development agents. Without development agents and their cooperation at all levels, it is very difficult to achieve effective and successful rural development. Development in municipalities is also influenced by the geographical location of municipalities and their distance from the regional center. The problems of municipalities are enhanced by its size. The smaller the village, the bigger the problem and the more complicated the development. For small municipalities it may be crucial to draw on development from their own resources, which are human and social capital. Impact of interregional cooperation in the regional management - cases of successful LAGs

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse and evaluate the activities of the selected local action group (LAG) within the region. This paper does not evaluate only the current effectiveness of the LAG's work, but also its impact on regional development. The theoretical part focuses on regional policy, rural development policy, municipal cooperation and explains concepts such as LEADER method or local action group. The practical part describes both the basic characteristics of the LAG's functioning and outlines realized projects, explaining the principle and possibilities of financial support. Based on the questionnaire, the participation of municipalities in the area will be analysed. The answers of representatives of municipalities will outline the effectiveness of selected LAG and outline the impact of interregional cooperation. According to the findings and results, possible improvements will be proposed. The result of this work will be the analysis of the influence of regional cooperation of the selected LAG on the development of the region.
